Meet Stats: 56/187 / $323.70 (-$50.30)
Best Bets: 10/18 / $35.90 (-$0.10)
Spot Plays: 6/18 / $45.10 (+9.10)
Best Bet:
JAN (11TH)
Spot Play: KIT (7TH)
Early Pick 5: 1,2,8/2,6/4,6/1,3,8/2,5 = $14.40
Late Pick 5: 2,4/2,4,5/1,6,7/7,8,10/3,6 = $21.60
Early Pick 4: 1,3,8/2,5/2,4/2,4,5 = $36
Late Pick 4: 1,6,7/7,8,10/3,6/4 = $18

Race 1: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 **GTD $75,000 Pick 5**

(2) Y A MUSCLE MASS was no match for Mister Magic who already came back to win in 1:52 flat on Tuesday night. He has a much better chance in this easier spot; top call. (8) PINK PISTOL is almost sure to show big early speed in this spot and she is a threat. (1) CANTABERNET left hard from the outermost post and raced okay after that. He’s another in with a chance in the opener. (6) MAGICAL WINNER K should wake up facing easier here but I'll use him on the bottom based on recent efforts.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS

(2) DESPERATE MAN looked dynamite in his second qualifier and he gets top billing in his debut in stakes company. (6) VINO LOUIE has been flawless so far and he's the one to beat here. (3) SOUTHWIND GOLIATH was closing fast at the wire last week and he is another possibility in a race that could come down to trip. (4) UCANTTOUCHTHIS has displayed good late zip in both qualifiers. He is worth a look for the bottom of Tris and Supers.

Race 3: F&M NW $10,000 L5 or NW $20,000 AE: OPT CLM $25,000

(6) PREMIER CABARNET raced tough in this class last week and this is the perfect post for an early speed blast; top call. (4) HELLO LOVE was used hard in the same race and she figures here, especially if she can work out a bit easier trip. (1) LARJON LEGACY is on a roll but this is much tougher; using underneath. (10) WATCH MY LUCK is one that can sit a following trip and emerge to lane on the edges here.

Race 4: 3YO NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 4

(8) LILLYSILK is related to several good racehorses including full-brother Captain Malicious who was a good performer early at two. I'll give her the nod here over (1) BAREFOOTNPREGNANT who looms well-prepped for this debut after producing a 56 1/5 back 1/2 in her June 26th qualifier. (3) SPORTSFIRE also finished off her qualifier well that day and she is another option for early multi-race tickets. (10) CHIEFS DREAM GIRL got some valuable experience last week and she could hit the ticket at a price now.

Race 5: NW $16,000 L5 or $28,000 L10 or NW $110,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $35,000

(5) BETCHA BABY produced a relentless first-over rally in this class last week and she gets the call to repeat. (2) SASKATOON has been hot and she has a knack for working out great trips when needed. She is a must-use here coming off a lifetime-best score. (1) SWIFT ALLY fell just short of the choice last week and she could get a golden following trip here leaving from the inside; using. (6) SANDBETWEENURTOES takes a big drop here but her recent form is uninspiring. I'll play to beat her in this spot.

Race 6: Two Year Old Fillies - Pick 5

(2) WARAWEE WELCOME has been excellent in both qualifiers and she gets the nod here in her debut. (4) EDGEWATER looms the main danger after kicking home in 28 1/5 to win her lone qualifier. (8) MEADOWVEW LILLY was second to the choice and is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics. (7) WONMYHEART HANOVER, stablemate to the choice, looks next best; using on the bottom.

Race 7: F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $31,500 LT - Pick 4

(2) KIT was void of room when trying a pylon skim last week as the leader kept the door closed. She gets the nod here. (4) LAILA BLUE was game in defeat to a sharp winner and she should be a threat right back here. (5) ODDS ON VERO BEACH went outside and the winner who was sitting behind her turning for home flew up the inside to win going away. She fits here and she is also in the mix. (8) MARY KAT is in solid form but post position could be her undoing here; using underneath.

Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS - Pick 4

(7) TWIN B HEART THROB ran out of racetrack last week but that mile should be a perfect primer for this first stakes engagement and he should be tough here. (1) NO FREE LUNCH has been finishing off his qualifying miles like a ticket and he shook be a big threat here. (6) SPRINGBRIDGE DUEL's 55 1/5 back 1/2 on a track rated one second slow indicates he is ready to roll; using. (5) DIETRICH SEELSTER gets sent out by a hot barn that specializes in young stakes types. Give him a look for the Super.

Race 9: CLM HDCP $12,000 TO $15,000

(8) JOHNNYS REVENGE rode a nice trip to victory last week but his improving form indicates he may be able to endure a tougher trip and still get the job done; slight nod. (7) Y C BROADWAY drops into a claimer and he has to be better here; using. (10) FLUFF ME UP goes for a barn that has been heating up recently and this isn't the toughest spot. He's on my late multi-race tickets. (4) YOOOUKILIS should coming on late again for a slice.

Race 10: F&M 5YO and Younger NW3 or $56,000 LT

(6) PERFECT STORM was beaten by two razor-sharp fillies that both came back to race well against Alicorn the other night. She has a good shot in here. (3) BETTOR BECAUSE A knows where the winner circle is and she finished her qualifiers fast enough to indicate she's ready for this North American debut; using. (2) SAUBLE DELIGHTFUL steps up off a game win. I prefer to use her underneath here. (4) MACH MY KISS races in between Grassroots starts against elders. She's another that I see finishing on the bottom of the Tri or Super.

Race 11: NW $3,000 L5 or $8,700 L10

This drop to the bottom conditioned level is likely exactly what (4) JAN needs and she gets top billing in the nightcap. (5) BEHAVENMYSELF produced a sharp closing effort with McNair driving last week and he sticks here; using. (6) OUR VACATION is another class dropper who is worth considering here. (10) LYONS HEDGEABET is capable of better. Maybe the class drop will help her, too. (1) KIWI FOCUS should get a good trip starting on the pylons and she can take a small slice.
