Trainer Gary Bishop is 1 for 1 racing fresh claims at this meet and that winner was claimed at Grand River then driven to a win by Jody Jamieson on July 12th. (5) THE DEVIL YOU KNOW follows the exact same pattern and I'll give him the nod to kick off the Pick 5. (2) CAPTAIN RAY finished gamely last week after making a first up move then stalling briefly. He is in with a decent chance tonight. (4) BAD N ROYAL shows a 1:52 4/5 life's mark taken on July 3rd and he is another who can improve racing first off the claim here; using underneath. (1) MYINSIDEVOICE should be good for another small share tonight.

Race 2: F&M 5YO and Younger NW3 or $55,000 LT

(4) MYWISHLISTFORYOU was game right to the wire and it took a rival's new lifetime mark to shade her last week. She can turn the tables here. (2) SPELLCHECK HANOVER was flying late but she ran out of racetrack. She is the one to fend off tonight. (6) RANDOMIROGEO ambushed the choice with a big move at the 3/4 and she was relentless from there to the wire. She certainly isn't out of this. (1) ALWAYSABEACHDAY should go better here coming back in a week this time; consider for the exotics.

Race 3: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10

(3) BRONZE YANKEE got the clean line that he needed Monday night now he fires back in four days facing much easier. This is a field that he should beat if he stays on stride. (2) MADAME SHERRY wasn’t bad racing against tougher last time. From an inside post she can trip out and take a good share here. (1) LIFE IS A FEAST indicated a return to form by firing a 27 2/5 kicker in his July 16th qualifier. He is worth a look for the exotics. (4) SONOFAMILLIONAIRE was a winner last time he raced this low six starts back. He should be in the mix if he stays flat tonight.

Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 3YO Fillies - Pick 4

(6) BEST HEAD WEST was in an impossible spot at the head of the lane last time considering the leaders were pacing a final 1/4 that was the fastest of the race. She flew home in 26 flat which should have her on her toes for this lucrative Gold event. (3) SCARLETT HANOVER was allowed to coast along on the front and she barely held off the closers. Maybe she’ll be sharper tonight in her second start back at Mohawk but I wouldn't take odds-on. (2) DABARNDAWGSWATCHIN paced out of her skin to win in fast time beating NW2 but she steps into the deep end here and a smaller share is predicted. (4) NIGHTLIFE SEELSTER was only 1/2 length behind Scarlett Hanover at the wire and she isn't without a chance here.

Race 5: NW $5,500 L5 or $11,000 L10

Is this (1) WARRAWEE ROO's night? It appears the pace setup favors his big late kick and he may roll by them all; top call. (3) FREE WILLY HANOVER should be sharper in this second start of the year and he's on my multi-race tickets. (10) EXEMPLAR wired a similar field two starts back but the 10-hoke makes it tougher tonight; demand a price. (4) VICTOR INVICTUS was impressive beating easier. He should take a share vs. these.

Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 3YO Fillies - Pick 5

(2) JODY changed hands following her most recent narrow defeat and I'll give her the nod here in a race that has a few live options. (3) GAME OF SHADOWS paced the best mile of her life winning Grassroots last time and she didn't see a pylon the entire mile. She is peaking and can win this with a trip. (1) VOELZ DELIGHT is a win machine and is an obvious threat to win this despite being ranked third here. (8) ALWAYS WATCHING is really good right now but this is a tough spot; using underneath.

Race 7: F&M NW $8,800 L5 or $17,000 L10 AE: NW $12,500 L8 or NW $75,000 LT

(2) ROSE RUN VICTORY takes a big class plunge here and Hensley should put her into play early; top call. (6) SOMEWHERE NORTH was much sharper last week and she should be right there in this third start back. (4) BORN A DRAGON should pass some of these late and land in the Tri or Super. (7) COUSIN MARY races tough every week. She should be in the hunt for another good share vs. these.

Race 8: F&M NW $5,000 L5 or $10,000 L10 - Pick 4

(7) LYONS TILT HANOVER might have been pacing too fast for her own good when she broke in the lane on July 9th. Macdonald requalified her and he sticks here. I'll give her the nod over class dropper (9) MAJOR LEAGUE N who is sure to gun to the front early and play catch me if you can. (1) OUTLAW IMAHOTVIXEN is likely to take an inside following trip most of this mile and come on late to take a share. (2) CATCH AN ACE is another good one to use on the bottom of the exotics.

Race 9: FILLIES AND MARES PREFERRED

(3) LIT DE ROSE has been as sharp as a tack in her first two starts of 2021 and she has a bit more tactical speed than rival (5) SO MUCH MORE it seems. Slight nod to the former in what should be a good battle. (4) MARLOE HANOVER should be right there again racing close to the front. She likely completes a chalky Tri. (6) KARMA SEELSTER looks next best. I'll use her on the bottom of the Super.

Race 10: F&M NW $15,000 L5 or $28,000 L10 or NW $110,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $30K

(5) SNOW SHARK paced her back 1/2 in 54 flat last week but racing uncovered vs. tougher that was only good enough to get 3rd. Facing easier here she gets top call. (2) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP steps up off a win but she has beaten better before and she is in the mix now that she is in peak form. (3) SPORTY TORI is worth a look for the exotics at this level where she usually grabs a slice. (1) TWIN B TIPSTER should be a big price here and I could see her landing in the bottom of the Tri or Super.

Race 11: F&M NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10

(8) KICKIN COWGIRL wasn't far back when facing much better last week. I'll give her a slight nod in a race that has a few possibilities. (4) KAT dominated at this level last week but beat what was likely a weaker field. She is an obvious contender but I wouldn’t take odds-on this time. (10) SUNDAY AFTERNOON is capable of a big speed try at this level and McNair should be blasting with her. (3) FREE FLYIN TICKET should be closer here and she could pounce late and pass them all if she gets a good trip; using. (2) MISS ROCKADALI popped and stopped when claimed by Auciello. She is likely destined to be back in claimers soon but she may crash the exotics at a price tonight.
