Race 1: F&M 5YO and younger NW2 or $30,000 LT **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(2) WE MEET AGAIN is on a big roll and she is the one to beat from an inside draw. (4) PASTA DELIGHT raced well in both the elimination and final of the Kin Pace and she looks like the main threat for a hot barn. She is the other one that I’ll use in the early Pick 5. (7) WE BELIEVIN raced better last week. I see her closing for a share tonight. (8) WICKED LEADER is another that raced decently in the Kin Pace. She should be an exotics factor.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GRASSROOTS LEG 3. 3 YEAR OLD PACING COLTS & GELDINGS
(4) CHALK HANOVER got a good tightener in on 7/6 where he got a covered trip racing against some elders. That should have him primed for a big effort and he gets the leading driver back in the bike; top call. (1) LAKERS BANK also got a good tightener in racing on the engine in a fast mile. He is two for two in these races this year and in both Grassroots starts, he raced from close range then pounced. He is the one to fear. (3) SPORTS ACTIVATOR has been right there in eight of nine starts this year and he is in the exotics mix here. (6) ALWAYS A THRILL was no good on 7/6 but it’s only three starts back that he scored a blowout sub-1:51 Grassroots win on this track. He could improve sharply tonight.

Race 3: 5YO and younger NW1 or $8,500 LT
$48K Lexington buy (9) GRAMBLING HALL attracts Macdonald who drove her to a qualifying win on 7/12. It looks like she can overcome the wide draw on debut, and she gets the nod. (8) GONE GOODBYE and (4) UNCLE MORRIS both got caught by the same sharp filly on successive weeks. Neither would be a surprise in this spot. (7) ELECTRIC JANE is fast enough to contend for a share in this spot if she can stay flat.
Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GRASSROOTS LEG 3. 3 YEAR OLD PACING COLTS & GELDINGS - Pick 4
(1) CHAIN GANG looks like he is back when you consider that he paced a 53-flat back 1/2 uncovered to win last Saturday. He could be even better here, look out. (5) CENTURY KOMODO hit peak form in his past couple of starts but if the choice finds his best race tonight, this gelding is probably racing for 2nd. (3) BET THE BB has been decent in Grassroots races. He can take a share here. (8) WATCHING SUNSET is up against it starting from the widest post in this field. I’ll use him on the bottom.
Race 5: 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES: GRASSROOTS STARTERS
(4) FLIRTY DANCER won one of these races two starts back then took a check facing tougher. I’ll side with her seeing there is a pattern of intent in these types of races. (5) HER CURRENCY shows a pattern of winning Grassroots races then taking a share in non points races. Not to say she can’t win here, but I’d demand a price. (10) MASS CARA is sharp and she has the speed to overcome this wide draw. She can be right there if she gets put into the race leaving the gate. (1) WEST RIVER IVORY is 0 for 6 so far this year but racing well. She should e in the exotics mix again.
Race 6: 5YO and younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 LT - Pick 5
(4) ITDONTMATTERTOME has excelled wearing trotting hopples winning her last two starts and producing strong late kicks. This NW2 field is tougher, but she can be up to it; top call. (2) CRAIGIEBURN is fast when he stays flat. He has a good shot here if he behaves. (3) DEALERS DELITE is winless this year but getting closer and he has ramped up his late speed. He is in the mix here. (8) VANJIE BLUE CHIP is typically in the mix when she doesn’t break. She could take a share at a decent price.
Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GRASSROOTS LEG 3. 3 YEAR OLD PACING COLTS & GELDINGS - Pick 4
(7) DO BETTER tuned up for this Grassroots leg with a good 4th to hot Leave It To Leo. Filion will put this gelding in play, and he gets the nod. (2) MCWICKED TIME produced a sub-54 back 1/2 to win his last start and he will likely be the one to fend off late here. (3) MCPLEASANT has caught fire in his last two starts and he is another to consider as he continues to improve quickly. (5) LOGAN BEHOLD comes off a good effort when nailed late by McWicked Time. He should be good for a slice here.
Race 8: F&M 4YO and younger NW $15,000 LT
Good betting race here. I’ll take a price stab on (4) TWIN B EMPRESS, who returned to notch two nice wins at a B track. She took her lifetime mark here last year. (2) SWIFT TALKER roared home to win on 7/11. She is improving and dangerous. (3) RAFFLE WINNER is racing well but she has burned money as the chalk three races in a row. What price will you accept? (1) HALVA HANOVER requalified okay and she gets the leading driver in the bike now. She could land in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 9: F&M 5YO and younger NW3 or $58,000 LT
This race has several fillies and mares that seem to want the front. I’ll side with (1) BLINDED BY DELIGHT, who probably makes the last move. (2) OCCASIONALLY SHARP is another that will be passing rivals late that is worth using on late multi-race tickets in this spot. (5) HOW MUCH got a poor start in the Kin Pace Final and that was what did in her chances. She is capable of pacing big miles on the front on this track and she is the third one that I’ll use on Pick 4 and Pick 5 tickets. (3) COLLUSION HANOVER is in easier here and she should be part of the exotics.
Race 10: CLM $20,000 for NW $50,000 LT
We get another rematch of (8) MANHAWK and (9) BAYLOR BOBBY here. The former rode the latter’s cover to victory last week and he gets top billing shooting for the threepeat. (10) BROOKDALE SEB will get overlooked here because of his post, but he is capable of producing a big rally and he could add some value to Tri and Super tickets. (3) CHASING GOOSEBUMPS should improve getting off post 10. I see him lasting for a slice. (7) TREASUREINTHESAND has been finishing well and he can close for another small slice here.
