(7) PIPEWRENCH CHARLIE faces easier in his second start for the Cullen barn and he can mow these down late; top call. (3) IDEAL JET comes off a confidence-building win at a 'B' track and he is no stranger to Mohawk Park, having taken 30 of his 45 wins here. He should be the one to catch. (4) VICIOUS ALOICIUS should improve at this level and picking up Macdonald won't hurt; using. (6) JKNR LIKETELL has a nice late kick on his best day and he could get a set up here. He is another in with a shot in a race that has a few options.

Race 2: F&M NW $9,000 L5 or $21,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $35,000
(6) MARY KAT gets as big a driver change as you might ever see tonight and she also gets to drop in class. I wouldn't expect much of a price, but she has a big shot vs. these. (3) SETTN A PRECEDENT was better last week in her second start back and I wouldn't be shocked if she produced a big stretch rally tonight; using. (4) CHIEFS DREAM GIRL finished just ahead of the choice last time and she fits well here. She should be in the exotics mix. (5) TRAFALAR will likely flash speed again and stick around for a share.

Race 3: Pop-Up Series Horses and Geldings NW $15K in 2022 or N/A $1,250 per start in 2022
(6) SHADOW IN RED raced much better last week when closing for 2nd to one of the gamest racehorses on the ground. He fits well here and he gets the nod. (1) DRAGON ENERGY went all in early last week, pacing a 26 4/5 second 1/4 to make front then trying to bottom out the field. He understandably tired late and he can go much better here; using. (5) HERVEY HANOVER vaulted past some winded leaders in the lane last week and won going away, but he isn't known for stacking wins and he is unlikely to get the same setup in this short field. I'll play to beat him here. (7) ATTHEBEACH HANOVER comes in sharp from London and he can take a slice in this spot.
Race 4: F&M that have started for a purse of $9,000 or less in 1 of L4 or NW $1,000 L5 AE: OPT CLM $15,000 - Pick 4
(7) CONTROL THE THONG was claimed out of a tough trip by Auciello and she gets Drury back in the bike which is notable because he drove her to her lone 2022 win here in March. I'll give her the nod expecting improvement tonight. (1) BAYWATCHING looked good producing a big wide rally to get the win last week and she should be tough right back in the same class here; using. (3) SOCIETY JILL found room up the pylons in the lane but she couldn't accelerate fast enough to go with onrushing Baywatching. She is in the mix again. (6) CANTSTOPTHEFEELIN added Lasix and took a new life's mark last time. She isn't out of this, but I prefer to use her underneath.
Race 5: F&M 5YO and Younger NW3 or $30,000 LT AE: 4YO to be claimed for $25,000
(9) FREE TO BE ME paced a 53 1/5 back 1/2 in defeat last time and she should handle these if she is in striking range at the 1/8th pole. (6) CRUSHED PEARL had one start back now she drops and gets Macdonald back. Sharp improvement is likely here; using. (7) GOT THE GOLD shoots for a fourpeat and she has Andy Miller listed to drive. She could be up to this class rise. (4) CHELSIS CHOICE produced a nice late charge last week and she should be good for another share here.
Race 6: GRADUATE SERIES 4YO OPEN Leg 2 - Pick 5
(1) VENERATE came back sharp for his four-year-old year and he looks best here as the likely heavy favorite. (5) INCOMMUNICADO, the likely pacesetter, picks up the leading driver and he could be tough in here if he gets a breather. (3) MYCROWNMYKINGDOM is finally coming into his own as 1/2-brother to 2013 Horse of the Year Bee A Magician but this is a big step up; small share predicted. (6) TAKE ALL COMERS didn't lose by much in the Graduate leg on May 7 two starts back; price look.
Race 7: Horses that have started for a purse of $15K or less in 1 of L4 - Pick 4
(9) I GOT THE LOOKS beat a horse that came right back and jogged in 1:52 in his next start and he should offer a good price starting from the 9-hole; call to repeat. (2) SAYLOR won well vs. similar and he gets a positive driver change here. He should be right there again. (5) COOL MUSCLE comes off a strong win in the top class in London and he is hard to leave off late multi-race tickets in this spot. (3) PRINCESSPARTYPANTS should close for a small share in this spot.
Race 8: Pop-Up Series Horses and Geldings NW $15K in 2022 or N/A $1,250 per start in 2022
This is a good spot for (8) SPRINGBRIDGE JIM, who was winning in 1:51 4/5 in Ottawa two starts back; top call. (7) BAD EYE BILL tried the front vs. tougher and it didn’t work out. He is more effective coming from off the pace. Sits and rallies now. (4) MR MACH JIMMY brings some sharp form in from London and he can land in the Tri or Super tonight. (1) SNAP TEST is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics racing off the claim. .

Race 9: Fillies and mares that have started for a purse of $15K or less in 1 of L4
(8) COWGIRL LILLY shipped in from Indiana after missing more than a month and she stretched her legs vs. much tougher. Coming back in a week and facing easier she should be the one to beat in here. (5) BEACH MOMENT also gets in easier tonight and she should be right there vs. these, racing from close range; using. (3) MISS ROCKADALI gamely dug in to preserve a win last week but these are tougher; using underneath. (1) GOODNIGHT IRENE should sit another good trip and land in the exotics.
Race 10: NW $9,500 L5 or $18,800 L10
(6) BRAEVIEW BONDI A had little chance of closing from 11 lengths back in a mile that was paced in matching 54 4/5 halves last week. The slight drop here combined with last week's tightening effort and drawing a better post makes him the one to beat tonight. (2) B STONEY is no stranger to this track and he took his life's mark of 1:50 1/5 here in the fall of 2019. He is worth using at a price switching to the Brethour barn and picking up Henry to drive. (7) STONEBRIDGE REX almost held the backfield at bay last week and his good speed makes him a threat here. (5) IDEAL PERCEPTION keeps Macdonald in the bike and he draws much better tonight. He should be in the exotics mix. (8) WIND BLOWN is another dropper that must be considered but I prefer to use him underneath in this spot.
