Race 1: F&M NW3 or $46,000 **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
I don't mind (8) WINOOSKI's sophomore opener and her sub-28 kicker. Jones won with one last week that flew late and paid a price. I'll take a stab with her in the opener. (2) MASS HYSTERIA was one of the better rookie filly trotters last year and she is the one to beat, but she has much bigger races in her sights this summer. (3) NORTHERN DEMI is much improved, and she is a obvious contender here. (1) BARONESS HILL lacked clearance until it was too late in the SBOA stakes, and it may have cost her a placing. She is in the exotics mix.

Race 2: NW $4,950 L5
If (3) FREE WILLY HANOVER replicates his May 26th qualifier, his rivals here will be racing for 2nd. Driver Zeron only has four starts this year and a 0-0-0 record so I'm not sure how low of a price I’d accept. (7) ESQUIRE fits well at this level and Roy will likely put him into the race leaving the gate. He is in with a decent chance. (10) SONOFAMILLIONAIRE beat some decent fields at Kawartha recently and he will offer a good price starting from the widest post; price look. (5) COOL CLIFFORD should be good for a share at this level.
Race 3: F&M NW $8,000 L5 AE: NW2 in 2023
Lots of class droppers in here to choose from and I'll side with (5) TWIN B BETTY, who will likely get a setup and make the last move in the lane. (4) VOELZ DELIGHT will take lots of action here based on recent company and times of her races. She will probably be the one to catch. (3) SPEAKER NANCY fits well here and Henry should put her into the race. She is another in with a chance. (2) SNOW SHARK typically races well at this level, but she is usually trip dependent. Demand a price.
Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GOLD LEG 1: 3 YO PACING FILLIES - Pick 4
(3) STARLIGHT DANCER who almost beat the very good Mollop Hanover two starts back is worth a play here because I can see her tripping out sitting just behind a fast pace and rallying late for the win. (6) RUTHY B has looked terrific in her two wins, but this is a big step up and she could get overbet relative to her chances. Your call. (8) ONE LAST WISH likes it on the engine, and she should be blasting again. She could contribute to the setup for the choice. (1) ILLUSION SEELSTER should be good for another slice here.
Race 5: F&M 5YO and Younger NW $15,000 LT
(10) BETTERONTHEISLAND got cooked from the widest post in London in the Grassroots and while she draws widest here, this is a better spot where she should be able to work out a trip racing near the front; top call. (3) MYSTIC WILD ROSE was right there in every start at two, but she lacked a killer instinct at times. She should contend here in this sophomore debut. (8) ACADEMY SEELSTER sat a perfect trip in London, and she couldn't gain on the leader. She could get overbet here. I'll use her underneath. (2) DANCE WITH TABBY is another exiting Grassroots that should be in the exotics mix tonight.
Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD LEG 1: 3 YO PACING FILLIES - Pick 5
(8) SAVETHELASTDANCE can be quirky and hit-and-miss because of it, but in this smaller field, I think she floats out and heads to the front and controls the race once she gets control. (2) CHEESY SMILE needed only one tightener before firing her best shot and last year's Superfinal winner is the one to fear here. (6) FRESHEN UP raced close to sizzling fractions and survived to land in the Tri in a solid effort. She is another in with a chance here. (7) LADY GET LUCKY couldn’t get past an 80 to 1 shot in the City of London final. I'll use her on the bottom tonight.
Race 7: NW $2,100 L2
(7) HEAVENSDOR HANOVER won last time he raced this low, and he should get an aggressive steer from Jamieson tonight; top call. (4) JACK FIRE raced okay last week, and the further class drop here puts him in the picture. He is the other one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (8) LILYS LASS outraced her odds last week and she is worth a look at a price coming back in the same class here. (1) ILLUSIONAL should close late to take another share here.
Race 8: F&M 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,500 LT - Pick 4
(5) FRONT PAGE STORY was buried until it was too late while chasing an impressive winner last week. She should break her maiden tonight. (2) DANCE NUMBER is the obvious danger adding Lasix coming in off a fast qualifying win. (1) YS POISSON DAVRIL made a decent wide late move in the Grassroots in London. She should be closing here, but she may get too far back; using underneath. (7) SIRI SEELSTER exits the same race as the choice. I can see her landing in the Tri or Super tonight.
Race 9: F&M 5YO and Younger winners of 2 but not more than 5 or $45,000 AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000
(6) SWEET AMIRA jogged in her sophomore debut and although she faces better tonight, more of the same is likely coming here with her drawing best. (7) TWIN DELIGHT, the other sophomore in here, looked good winning a Grassroots dash in London. She can be a threat here. (1) CHELSIS CHOICE likely sits and rallies for another slice here. (2) JM BETONSIX is the only one in for a tag here and she should ride an aggressive steer to a spot in the exotics.

Race 10: F&M that have started for a purse of $12K or less in 1 of L4
(6) TWIN B TIPSTER isn't known for stringing wins together, but the likely race shape should play right into her strength which is her powerful late kick; call to repeat. (8) JKS ROLLIN BABY couldn't be much sharper, and she will likely be the one to catch at the 1/8th pole; using. (1) SHOOT THE WHISKEY was hot before she tried the Forest City Pace against the best mares. She can sit and rally here for a slice. (7) ARIZONA shows nothing but 1's in her PPs but that clashes with the #9 horse in here and I could see them canceling each other out.
Race 11: 3YO FILLIES: GRASSROOTS STARTERS IN 2023
Wide-open race here for Grassroots starters. I'll shoot for a price with (8) TESLA POWER, who was flying late in her comeback race in London. (5) CENTURY JAMILA keeps Macdonald after easily wiring a Grassroots field in London and she should be one of the main contenders here. (2) CHEDDA CHEDDA raced well in London, and she is capable vs. this field. She is another in with a shot here. (3) IMA DOLL, winner of two of her last three, should get position near the front early and that gives her a chance. (6) SUNBURNT should sit a trip close to the front and stick around for a share.
