Top Pick Stats: 233/747 (-$312.10) Best Bets: 28/68 (-$24.20); Spot Plays: 17/70 (-$43.20) Best Bet: ADINA HANOVER (Race 11) Spot Play: KELLINA DIAMOND (Race 7) Early Pick-5: 1,6,7/3,7/6/10/1,7 $2.40 Late Pick-5: 7,8/4/1,6/3,7,10/5,9 $4.80 Race 1: FILLIES & MARES, 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $9,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. (1) RUNWAY DIVA has posted two solid morning preps and looks ready to step forward in her season opener. I’ll give her the nod in a wide-open field. I wouldn’t have minded seeing another qualifier from (7) OUR HEART, but she showed late interest and appears to have some upside. (6) PEARL WASH may not be as good as I originally thought, but she finally gets post relief and should be in the mix. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: POP UP SERIES: FILLIES & MARES, STARTERS FOR PURSE OF $12,500 OR LESS IN 2026 (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 N/E). LEG 2. AE: LEG 1 STARTERS. (3) BLINDED BY DELIGHT was a sharp winner in leg one and likely shouldn’t slow down with an improved post. (7) KIERA SEELSTER finds the slightly easier division which should allow her tactical speed to shine even brighter. (8) FATED FIRE was a good third last week with an extended outside move. She will likely need to make multiple moves again. Race 3: SBOA ELIMINATION: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD FILLY PACE. STARTING FEE $1,000 CDN $775 USD. (6) SHES A BULLDOG looks ready to roll after two sharp qualifiers. Despite just the one win, she made over half a million dollars. (5) A BETS A BET could spice up exotics if she can sustain her outside move. She took a clear step forward last week. (7) DAYA was equally as impressive last season in top level stakes. She is logical in her return. Race 4: SBOA ELIMINATION: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD FILLY TROT. STARTING FEE $1,000 CDN $775 USD. (10) FLOWING TRIBUTE had a very good freshman campaign that included multiple OSS Gold wins. She is entered after just one qualifier; I’ll count on her being ready to go. (1) JUST BUSINESS put it all together in the Spring Series Final and posted a new career best. She could add value to exotics if she keeps improving. (4) BLUE JEAN GAL basically destroyed Grassroots competition for the entirety of her two-year-old season. She may need one though; I’ll use her underneath. Race 5: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 RACES OR $57,000 (OS $90,750) LIFETIME. (7) SANGRIA SUMMER eventually got up in her seasonal debut and saved the favorite backers with a big final quarter. I think she will be better tonight and can repeat. (1) TORNADO RAIN has been sitting on a winning effort and will have a much better chance with an inside draw. Another opportunity for exotics value. (3) KOBRA KATE went down the road with a new pilot and has a post edge on some of the other early speed. Race 6: SBOA ELIMINATION: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD FILLY TROT. STARTING FEE $1,000 CDN $775 USD. (8) MY GHOST has been very sharp to start her season; I’ll look for her to get the jump on some returning fillies. (7) LO AND BEHOLD unleashed a sharp kick in her return and looms large if she takes a step forward. J-Mac gave her the nod over two others. (3) GREEK MANALISHI showed to have some upside at two, and has a strong late kick that can be utilized from the back tonight. Race 7: POP UP SERIES: FILLIES & MARES, STARTERS FOR PURSE OF $12,500 OR LESS IN 2026 (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 N/E). LEG 2. AE: LEG 1 STARTERS. (4) KELLINA DIAMOND is worth a shot given her big post switch. She hasn’t been as consistent at Mohawk, but could excel with an aggressive steer. (8) BETTERNOTMACHME was a mare I took a chance with last week, and she didn’t race bad. I think her best can allow her to close into the mix at a big price. (1) TWIN B EMPRESS couldn’t be caught after another front-end steer. She is logical in leg two. Race 8: SBOA ELIMINATION: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD FILLY PACE. STARTING FEE $1,000 CDN $775 USD. (6) A CLEAN DEAL had a near perfect two-year-old season and capped it off with a Superfinal win. She is well prepped for her return. (1) JEN TILLY looked much better in her second start back, making me wonder if a touch of sickness ran through Burke’s barn. At any rate, she was a top-level contender throughout the year and deserves a look. (5) NAUGHTY BEAUTY was stakes tried at two to mixed results. She still made six figures, though, and came back with two good qualifiers in NJ. Race 9: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $9,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. (7) D A BODACIOUS is getting better with each start and could capitalize when dropping from the series. I’ll give him the nod. (10) RYDER ROSS has the gate speed to overcome the high draw, but I don’t know how hard he will be used right away. I think the board hints at his chances. (3) COULD BE KING draws better after being unable to finish last week’s speed try. Look for him to get a piece. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 10: POP UP SERIES FINAL: STARTERS FOR PURSE OF $10,000 OR LESS IN 2026 (W/O $75,000 IN 2025-26 N/E). AE: OPT. CLM. $12,500. (CLM REMAIN IN FOR TAG). (5) DOUBLE DIPPIN was a good second last week and draws better for the final. I’ll look for him to turn the tables. (9) GOOBER SMACK draws worst of the main contenders, but he might be the sharpest one coming into this race. (4) THE BEAR A CUDA couldn’t be caught last week, but can he repeat an effort like that? He may have to settle for an underneath spot if headed at the top of the stretch. Race 11: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $37,500) LIFETIME. (1) ADINA HANOVER should no doubt step forward after a very good second in her return. I think the main contenders lean towards the inside. (2) HORSE WITH A PLAN gets a big post switch which should give her a much better chance of being put in play. (4) EASY STATION flashed good speed at two and hit the board in over half of her races, but I think she might need one against the top two.
