I’ll give her the edge over obvious contender (2) WILLYS HOME RUN, who was raced conservatively in her debut at two. The latter had a tremendous rookie season, earning more than 1/2 a million dollars and it’s clear that she is one of the best sophomore fillies in this stake. (4) MASS CARA raced okay in her season debut. She can get a share here with a similar effort. Harvest Series winner (3) P L RAINBOW DASH chased tough older mare H P Mama B in her qualifier. She should drop several seconds here, and she can take a slice. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: 3YO colts and gelding NW $5,000 LT $72,000 London sale graduate (4) CHESTERMAN finds a good spot for his debut, and I’ll give him the nod expecting an aggressive steer. (6) AXEL BOVINO paced a good back 1/2 in his debut, and he draws best here. He is another that will likely get sent forward leaving the gate and he will be on my early Pick 5 ticket. (3) TYMAL ENVOY bounced back with a better effort last week and he gets post relief now. He can close for a share in this field. (9) WICKED GAMES is another making his second start back that can improve enough to land in the bottom of the exotics. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: SBOA ELIMINATION: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD FILLY TROT (3) VALUABLE MISS got a useful start in last week and she should be tighter and perform better now in this stake elimination; top call. (2) FLIRTY DANCER got really good at the end of last year, steamrolling through the Grassroots division. She looks well prepped for this sophomore debut and she should be a threat. (7) LEXUS ANGEL was no match for Kinnder Hotblood in the Spring Series final but she maintained her good form and she gets Macdonald in the bike now. She is another in with a chance. (1) R LIZA, a Gold winner at two, can take a share in this sophomore debut. Race 4: F&M 4YO and younger NW2 or $16,150 LT - Pick 4 (9) CHEESE PARTY raced first up in a mile that featured a 26 3/5 kicker and she understandably backed up late. I’ll stick with her here expecting her to find some cover this time. (8) GOGETTERMISSCHEDDR raced okay to take checks in the Spring Series in some fast miles. She should be much closer vs. these; using. (2) PAM was competitive in most of her starts last year and her good tactical speed should play well here. She is in the exotics mix. (7) PREMIER HEIRESS goes back to trainer Young who had her ready for her debut last year. She is another that is competitive here that is worth a look. Race 5: F&M NW $14,000 L5 or $28,500 L8 AE: OPT CLM $70,000 or NW $115,000 LT (7) GLENBORO steps up tonight, but she continues to race tough every week and she should offer a better price tonight; top call. (9) DABARNDAWGSWATCHIN qualified well for this return race and this field is well within her scope. It’s likely that Roy puts her into the race from her wide post. (4) ANGOSTURA HANOVER draws much better here, and she should be withing striking range at the 3/4 pole. She can work her way into the exotics. (2) SETTN A PRECEDENT is another that figures to get a better trip here. She is worth using on the bottom. Race 6: SBOA ELIMINATION: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD FILLY PACE - Pick 5 (3) PASS LINE comes off a tremendous rookie season that culminated with a second-place finish in the Breeders Crown. She is the one to beat here. (7) LIGHTNING LIZZIE has been impressive winning her first four starts and she left no doubt in the final of the Spring series. She could give the choice a race here. (4) MAKE OUT WITH ME, stablemate to the choice, looked good winning her qualifier on 4/26. She can close for a share here. (2) WICKED WEATHER had a good tightener where she made a decent late charge, but this is a tough spot; small share predicted. Race 7: 4YO and younger NW1 or $7,500 LT Trip handicappers will likely be all over (3) DAB O COLOR here. He was the first leader, was overtaken by two rivals, then elected to stay in third. He was blocked for most of the lane and eventually found room late and was closing fast. He gets top billing here. (5) GRAVITATIONAL is another from the same mile that had to wait for clearance and was flying late. He is the other one that I’ll use on multi-race tickets. (2) ONYX BOUND took three wins from five starts last year and he qualified well for this return. He can take a share here. (1) SOLID NINE HANOVER frequently works out good trips and takes shares. He is a good one to use on the bottom. Race 8: SBOA ELIMINATION: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD FILLY PACE One of last season’s top two-year-old pacing fillies (5) ITS A LOVE THING returns, and she is the one to beat here with no Pass Line on the gate with her. (7) ODDS ON PLATINUM is another that had a great rookie season. She could give the choice a race here in their first starts back; using. (8) SORCHA SEELSTER raced great in defeat last week. It’s not every day you get picked off on the wire while pacing a 26 1/5 kicker. (2) BLAZING BELLE was winless at two, but she took five shares in 10 starts, many of them racing against the best rookie pacing fillies in the province. I like the way she qualified vs. Its A Love thing. She can take a share here. Race 9: F&M NW $5,850 L5 or $9,500 L10 AE: OPT CLM $25,000 - Pick 4 (1) MS QUICK SAND drops and likely pops in this spot, getting away from hot Glenboro. (10) SAULSBROOK OLYMPIA was only a neck behind the choice last week and she could do here if she can work out a trip from post 10; using. (5) BETTER BE DONNA N is typically close at this level but I prefer to use her underneath in this spot. (3) BLUEMEA KISS draws inside and she can get a following trip close to the front and land in the exotics. Race 10: NW $20,000 in 2023/24 There are no standouts in this field so I am going to take a price shot with (7) FEEL THE FORCE, who figures to be better in this second start for trainer Budd. Getting Macdonald in the bike is a bonus. (5) ANGEL OF MY DREAMS gets a barn change tonight, and McClure, who qualified her on 4/26, chose her over others in here; using. (8) GIVE ME KARETS K trotted a big back 1/2 in his comeback race now he draws slightly better. Hudon will likely get him positioned better leaving and that makes him a threat tonight. (3) AMERICAN BLIZZ K looks as good as any in here but I don’t want the probable favorite in a wide-open race. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 11: F&M NW $1,600 L3 AE: OPT CLM $18,000 (4) RAPTORS WON beat better than these here in early February and she is the one to beat moving back into Moreau’s barn and getting Macdonald in the bike. (1) LITTLEBEARCAT raced well in defeat last week and she can be an Exacta factor here. (5) SWEET LOVING races off the Auciello claim here and she should blast for position and stick around for a share. (7) FATED FIRE won here in March and she is worth a look for the exotics exiting London’s top class. Race 12: F&M NW $9,400 L5 AE: OPT CLM $50,000 AE: NW4 or $80,150 LT (5) ELLAS REASON A paced the fastest race of her life last week in defeat, coming up short in a stretch war that saw the top two open daylight on the rest of the field. I’ll give her a slight nod in a race full of possibilities. (10) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP drops and gets Macdonald back and she should offer a good price starting from post 10. This is the kind of race where I can see him keeping her hidden behind cover until very late then pouncing; using. (6) SNOW SHARK is another dropper that merits consideration for the late Pick 5, especially since she drew best. (2) ETHEL left it all on the track three starts back then paced another tough mile the next week. She got an easier trip last week now she draws better. She is in with a chance tonight. (8) COZ IM SPECIAL prevailed over the choice last week but I don’t see her getting the same perfect trip on the lead; using underneath.
