Top Pick Stats: 115/384 = -$78.60 Best Bets: 12/38 = –$19.20; Spot Plays: 7/38 = -$10.70 Best Bet:  CAVIAR N CRACKERS (RACE 3) Spot Play: CALL YOU UP (RACE 6) Early Pick 5: 1,2,4,5/4,5,8/1/3/6,7,8 = $7.20 Late Pick 5: 2/1,3,9/3/2,5,6,8,9/2 = $3 Race 1: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $8,500 LIFETIME. (5) STONE SAWYER was sitting in the pocket turning for home in her latest, before a rival went off stride and scattered the field, immediately wiping her out of the contention. She is back in to go in this spot and draws the middle of the gate, and should have every opportunity to work out a winning trip in this spot. (1) SARA B DELIGHT will make her first start as a 3YO and is coming off a trio of qualifiers. She was victorious over her last two preps and was under some reminders to get into gear. She lacks experience but should be competitive vs. this group at first asking. (4) MCJAZZ made her first start over the big track after a strong winning effort at Flamboro the start prior. She should bode well from having a tightener over this oval and can take a step forward here. (2) TEMPTING was interfered with two starts back, causing her to go off stride. She made a miscue for no apparent reason last time out and should be a contender so long as she paces, but is tough to trust here.  [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW $3,000 LAST 5 STARTS (W/O $12,500 LAST 10 STARTS N/E). AE: NOT AVERAGING $900 PER START IN 2025 (MIN 10 STARTS). AE: OPT. CLM. $20,000. (8) HEAD OF THE CLASS went on a front end mission in his qualifier and tired late after going some quick panels early. He will be back in the Anthony Montini barn and shows up on the Lasix medication. He draws outside but I’ll still give him top billing here and hope for some value.  (5) MISTER MAGIC was strong in a 3rd place showing last time out. He has hit the board in two straight tries and draws well this evening; he’s a threat. (4) BUCK DANCER made an interference break in his latest which prevents him from having to qualify. He draws well and is a contender here, so long as he trots. (3) THE CANAM BANKER was aggressively handled in his latest and just got picked off before the wire. He should be in the mix here, but I prefer others. Race 3: FILLIES & MARES PREFERRED. (1) CAVIAR N CRACKERS has been razor sharp winning four starts in a row. She will take on another talented rival who will be making her season debut, but I’ll side with this mare in hopes she can extend her win-streak; she’s sharp! (2) SYLVIA HANOVER will be making her 2025 debut off a pair of okay qualifiers. She seems to know when it’s time for business, and she should be able to put forth a competitive showing here; contender. (3) CENTURY JAMILA has hit the board in three straight tries after reeling off several straight wins in her starts prior. She draws well and is an obvious contender. (4) SO MUCH MORE is coming off a dominant qualifying effort at London. She will be prepping for the Forest City Pace next weekend and might need a start to get herself into shape. Race 4: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 RACES OR $55,000 (OS $76,500) LIFETIME. (3) AARDIES MONEY N has put forth back-to-back, winning efforts with Jody Jamieson in the bike. She has been confidently handled in those tries and has shown improvement in each of those victories. She can triple up here. (4) LANESIDE INCONTROL uncorked a wicked late rally in her latest and just missed. It was her first start of the year, and she should be sitting on another good effort this evening; using. (6) GENTRIFY rallied nicely in her latest in a 3rd place effort. She had too much ground to make up in that effort and was involved in a tight photo. If she can be closer, she can be more competitive, but might have to find a little more to take down the choice. (10) ABSOLUTION was a winner in her latest when she left out hard, secured a pocket trip and slipped up the inside to score. She has to deal with an even more difficult starting spot this evening, and might be at a disadvantage as far as trips. She can grab a share. Race 5: FILLIES & MARES, NW $9,000 LAST 5 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. (8) COZ IM SPECIAL failed to hit the board after being a take down in her latest. It was her first start in 3 weeks and she was coming off a sick-scratch to boot. With a start under her belt and back on a regular rotation, I’ll give her the nod to trip herself out and pick up a victory in this spot. (6) WESTERN WISH was aggressively handled early on and faltered to finish 4th. She tired after cutting some quick panels, and warrants respect here given her class and draw. She’ll be sent forward here. (7) CHIEFS DREAM GIRL failed to hit the board and was never a factor in her latest from pp10. She will need a trip to get herself into contention but can hit the ticket. (5) ALABAMA HANNAH stepped up a few classes after notching a victory in her start prior and was a narrow 3rd in that contest. She draws well and has a favorable draw. Race 6: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER NW $15,000 (ON SIRED $27,000) LIFETIME. (2) CALL YOU UP had a tough draw to work with in her seasonal debut, and ended up making a miscue in that effort. She draws inside and can be a bigger factor because of it, and I’ll give her the nod in what is a wide open affair. (6) DUCHESS DEO was 4th in her seasonal debut. She draws better and should be even tighter coming into start number two, and should find this group to her liking this evening; contender. (1) TOPVILLE CHECKMEIN was aggressively handled in her latest and faltered to 4th. She might have better luck off a helmet in this spot and can grab a share. (5) SIDE EFFECTS was driven by trainer Murray Brethour in a 4th place effort at Kawartha. He hands the lines over to drive Trevor Henry this evening and she could take a step forward here. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 7: FILLIES & MARES, NW $15,000 LAST 5 STARTS OR NW $22,000 LAST 10 STARTS. (3) CANT SEE ME will be making her 3YO debut off a pair of very, very sharp qualifiers. She steps into this contest taking on some older mares – and while it could be a bit of a concern taking on older rivals, I’ll still give her the nod to trip out and reign victorious here. (9) LYONS BETTORDAY will take a drop down in class after taking on some very sharp rivals as of late. She draws outside, but should be able to float out and find herself in contention late. (1) RAPTORS WON is back in this optional claiming tag where she was a comfortable winner two back. She draws the rail but should be right there. (5) GOUDAWON was no match for the one above but was a distant 2nd to her. She draws well and should be forwardly placed; she can hang around for a share. Race 8: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $8,500 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. (3) SHADOW OF AN ANGEL ran out of racetrack to just miss in his most recent try. He was loaded in that start and was pacing hard when getting clearance. It was just his 2nd start of his career and he should be sitting on a winning effort this evening; top call. (7) SILKY CHOICE made an aggressive bid for the lead in his latest and tired after a strong closing effort in his start prior. He draws outside and we might see him revert back to an off the pace approach, and he could be better off that way; he’s a contender with a trip. (1) ERINWOOD BIG BACK was sneaky good in his latest and will now draw the rail. He never seems to get away in a good spot but this is one I’d be using underneath in exotics and hope for some value. (9) NOVA BLU has hit the board in 3 of 5 starts this year and will have every chance to hit the ticket despite an outside draw. Race 9: NW $6,000 LAST 5 STARTS (W/O $15,000 LAST 10 STARTS N/E) AE: OPT. CLM. $30,000. (9) CENTURY JAGUAR was never a factor in his latest after getting away towards the back of the pack. He was back in the Shayne Barrington barn in that outing and is one that I’ll take a chance on despite an outside draw, in what is a wide open race. (5) EYES OF JUSTICE raced well in defeat in his latest effort. He draws the middle of the gate and should be among the main contenders turning for home; using. (2) FLIRTY DANCER took a bit of a shuffle in her most recent effort, but was just even when getting clearance late. She stayed trotting in that start but she will need to find more late. (8) RADIO LAB went on a speed mission in his latest and tired. He might be better suited to hunt down rivals, and will likely work out that kind of trip in this spot. Race 10: FILLIES & MARES, NW $3,000 LAST 5 STS (W/O $19,750 LAST 10 STS N/E). (2) MIST AMBER drops down in class and is coming off a really nice effort in her latest. She was stuck on the cones turning for home, but shook loose late to be a fast-closing 5th. She draws inside, should be able to work out a more favorable trip and is my clear top choice here. (3) LOVE ON ME has hit the board once over her last six tries, but has flashed some good speed late. She finds a group that should be to her liking and is one that I’ll use as an exacta player. (5) ONLYTHEGOODDIYOUNG has failed to hit the board in five straight tries, but has shown some good wheels late. She will likely be coming from off the pace but can grab a share. (9) TRIBAL DANCER draws outside here but she is one of a few likely leavers in this spot. She can grab a share. (8) CHIKABELL has been a non-factor over her last couple of tries. She is back in the Amanda Riley barn where she’s had success and she can improve here.
