This is a field that (3) VILLEFRANCHE AS could handle on the class drop and she should get activated early by Hudon in this spot; top call. (7) TEXACO MAN is the other dropper that should improve sharply in this spot, and he is hard to leave off Pick 5 tickets. (6) HOBBS gets Macdonald, and this isn’t the toughest spot. He is another to consider for the Pick 5. (5) MAGIC WANDA will take money on the drop, but she is an infrequent winner that I am inclined to bet against here.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRED SPRING SERIES TROT for 3YO Colts and Geldings who were NW $30,000 in 2022

(5) WATCH A PRO squeaks into the conditions of this race by less than $800 in earnings and he qualified okay for his sophomore debut. He has a good post, and he can kick off the series with a win vs. these. (7) CENTURY JAGUAR has been trotting in the 1:57 range consistently and he should get a good piece of this. (6) JERONIMO will probably show speed and stick around for a share if he stays flat here. (2) LIKE CHAOS has been hot but this is a tougher field; using underneath.

Race 3: F&M 5YO and Younger winners of 2 but not more than 6 or $45,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000

(1) BEYOND THE SEA was 2nd to a mare that has already come back to win again, and she should have a good shot vs. this group of tonight. (3) SPEAKER NANCY makes her four-year-old debut in a good spot and Barrington's barn has been running hot. She would be no surprise here. (2) WILDCAT STAR was first up providing cover for the choice that night and she can be right there with a slightly easier trip this time; using. (5) ALWAYS B A STAR is in tougher here after barely holding on vs. NW2. I'll use her underneath tonight.

Race 4: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $60,000 LT - Pick 4

(2) BIG ACE raced much better last week, and he was hard used early in the mile. I can see him stalking and beating these tonight. (5) PROCRASTINATOR was well driven to beat the choice and he should be a threat right back here. (4) DANCE MACHINE is winless in 2023 but he fits better in a claimer, and he could pop here. (8) UNCONTROLLABLE is another that is winless in 2023 that drops into a claimer, and he can enter contention for a share.

Race 5: F&M Claiming $35,000

(2) COME ROLL WITH ME jogged from the 10-hole with J Mac driving two starts back and she gets the leading driver back tonight; top call. (6) PHENOM SEELSTER, who finished 2nd to the choice that night, gets off the 10-hole and draws best here and she can be an Exacta factor. (5) JITTERS BETTOR is in sharp form, and she should take a share racing close to the front tonight. (7) SUNSHINEATTHEBEACH can flash speed and stick around for another share.

Race 6: ONTARIO SIRED SPRING SERIES PACE for 3YO Colts and Geldings who were NW $30,000 in 2022 - Pick 5

(1) RED COIN has notched three very easy wins in a row, and he should be tough to beat here at a short price as he shoots for the fourpeat. (3) NIGHTIME DANCER looked good breaking his maiden, but he faces a more seasoned, razor-sharp rival in the choice and that will likely be too tall of a task tonight. (8) SPEAKER OF PEACE likely takes back and rallies tonight and he should hit the board vs. these. (2) HOWMAC VICTOR is well prepped for this sophomore debut and he can be an exotics factor here racing from close range.

Race 7: 3YO Fillies NW1 or $7,500 LT

(7) DANCE WITH TABBY hinted at having some ability last year and I'll take a shot with her here in a spot where she should offer some value. (1) FREESTARFLIGHT is obviously in here to win early in this sophomore campaign, coming in with three qualifying wins and she is the one to beat as the probable favorite. (3) DANGEROUS CURVES goes for a barn that sent out a 56 to 1 debutant winner on Saturday night; price look. (2) TWO ACROSS MARION should sit a trip and take another slice here.

Race 8: ONTARIO SIRED SPRING SERIES TROT for 3YO Colts and Geldings who were NW $30,000 in 2022 - Pick 4

(3) THE GREAT RESET was winning easily when last seen here last December and he shows two good qualifiers preparing for this sophomore debut; top call. (5) DEVILS ARCH is obviously fast enough to beat these but his break in stride in his last start is concerning when you consider that he broke in all of his first six starts. I'd be careful to not take a short price here. (7) AIRBORNE was good in his 2023 debut, and he is another possibility for late multi-race tickets. (2) LEADING RESOLVE is sharp, but he faces tougher here; small share predicted.

Race 9: F&M 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7.500 LT

(6) MYOUTSIDEVOICE's last line is a toss as she was a refund due to having broken equipment before the start. Her good effort two starts back makes her the one to beat. (3) PINK MONSTER looked good winning her 2023 debut and she should be the main threat here. (2) VENTIMATCHALATTE was a winner in London on Tuesday now she picks up Macdonald. She didn't beat much there so I'll use her underneath tonight. (7) MISS MAYBEE can close for a small slice in this spot.

Race 10: ONTARIO SIRED SPRING SERIES PACE for 3YO Colts and Geldings who were NW $30,000 in 2022

(4) BAR DOWN JIM was impressive in his 2023 debut, but he was simply too far back after starting from the 10-hole. I'll call him to notch the upset over likely favorite (9) NO CONTROL, who was very good in all of his three starts in the winter before being laid up. (5) GANDOLF THE BLACK was Macdonald's pick over the choice, and he doesn’t have to face tough Red Coin here who beat him in two straight to start the year. He can be a threat. (8) IKES DREAM took lots of action on debut and he races well. He is in the exotics mix here.

Race 11: F&M NW $1,850 L3

(7) MYSTIFYING gets plenty of changes here: new barn, Lasix added and first time McNair in the bike. I'll give her a slight nod in a tough race. (1) E L CITADEL comes in off a good first up effort at this level and she could do here if she finds a live helmet to follow. (6) STONEBRIDGE DRAMA drops and the field she beat here four starts back is comparable to these. She can improve sharply tonight. (8) JM BETONSIX is another getting trainer and driver changes here that is worth a look. (4) CHARMBO BRIE was 2nd vs. similar here two starts back and she is another that is in the mix here, likely deploying a similar closing style that she did on that night.
