(4) SILK ROAD SMASH was trying to close into a 26 3/5 final 1/4 last week which was mission impossible. He can make amends tonight in the opening leg of this series. (1) CAMARA MOMENT was bet like he couldn't lose and he paced his back 1/2 in 53 3/5 in defeat on debut. He will take action with good reason tonight. (5) CHUCKY HANOVER was razor-sharp in victory last week and he will be tough if allowed to steal a breather again. (3) GREYSTONE IAN O can take another small share in this spot.

Race 2: Ontario Sired Spring Series for 3YO Colts and Geldings

(5) RESOLUTE BAY made two moves in a fast mile now he gets J Mac back in the bike. I'll give him the nod over unbeaten (1) TUXEDO ATTIRE who was a narrow winner in leg 1 after getting things all his own way. (7) FORREST showed some late zip last week in a race he likely needed. He has upset potential here. (3) MAPLE LEAF BOUND should be good for another share in this short field.

Race 3: F&M 5YO and Younger NW4 or $57,000 LT AE: 4YO to be claimed for $40,000 AE: NW1 L8

(4) QUEBECOISE and (2) IN THE MOOD both came back razor-sharp last week and motored home to finish 1-2. The former draws better here and should be closer early. I'll give her the nod to turn the tables tonight. (9) DEWITT FOR JOSIE was a good rookie and she qualified well behind one of the best fillies from last year. She could win this, but with bigger fish to fry she won’t empty the tank starting from the widest post in this sophomore debut; using underneath. (6) MY ONLY SUNSHINE is sharp and she should take another slice here.

Race 4: Horses that started for a purse of $15,000 or less in 1 of last 4 - Pick 4

(2) O NARUTAC PERFETTO is as sharp as a tack right now and he should get an honest pace to chase with some expected leavers lined up on the outside of the gate; call to repeat. (6) HORSE TRADER was right there with the choice last week and he is another that hit his best stride. He'll be on my early multi-race tickets. (9) SAYLOR dropped and crushed and he should be the one to catch vs. these. (8) ELIOTHROPE F is another in good form that could get a great trip here. This is a race with several live options.

Race 5: F&M that have started for a purse of $12,000 or less in 1 of L4 AE: NW $1,500 L5

This is a big drop for (1) NIGHTLIFE SEELSTER and Cullen will likely take control of this race early; top call. (10) RANDOMIROGEO is in excellent form and Macdonald sticks with her. She could offer value starting from the 10-hole. (6) KICKIN COWGIRL exits the same race as Randomirogeo and they finished right together. She is in the exotics mix here. (3) MY DAY should be good for a slice starting from the inside tonight.

Race 6: Ontario Sired Spring Series for 3YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 5

(5) CENTURY INVADER got a tough trip ast week and he was still only a narrow loser. He gets post relief and lands in a smaller field which should make him the one to beat here. (1) IMA STANDUP GUY traded the lead with the choice last week and they ended up wearing each other down. He should get a different trip here and he is the main threat. (7) TYMAL TIGGS benefitted from the battling and passed the two choices last week. He likely will be a victim of pace here; using underneath. (3) UNRESOLVED DEBT almost blew up the tote board in a much-improved effort last week. He can be part of the Tri or Super here.

Race 7: Horses who have started for a purse of $9,000 or less in 1 of last 3 AE: N/A $1,125 ps in 2021-22

(5) OVERSERVED's race from last week is likely better than it looks because he was out a long way trying to close against the bias and he managed to pass seven rivals. Post relief can make the difference here; top call. (2) VILLEFRANCHE AS is in easier here and I can see Roy getting more aggressive with her early in the race; using. (8) SWANS HONEY trotted a fast kicker last week and she is another that has been facing tougher. Henry will likely put her in play early tonight and she is in with a shot. (4) MISSYS MAGIC MAN produced a good front end try last time but that's not her best trip. She likely sits and rallies for a share here.

Race 8: Ontario Sired Spring Series for 3YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 4

(7) SPORT SECRET came off a brief rest with all guns a blazin' and he gets the call to repeat off that dominating win. (5) STOP THE SHOOTIN rallied well into an accelerating late pace in leg 1 of the series and he should be the main threat, likely racing closer to the front tonight. (4) WHISKEY BREAK rallied for a share after taking a shuffle racing against the choice and he can be in the exotics mix again tonight. (3) TWIN B RAPTOR was good in his 2022 debut and he should be another that is closing late; using underneath.

Race 9: F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $22,000 LT

(1) RAPTORS WON was no secret on debut, returning only a dime on the dollar to her backers. She looked good doing it, though, and she gets the call to repeat. (8) AMERICAN TICKET got the carbon out of the engine making two moves last week in her sophomore debut, and she should be fitter and a big threat tonight dropping into NW2; using. (4) GIRL SCOUT COOKIE also drops, but she will probably find the top two choices too tough. I see her rounding out the Tri. (2) GOUDAWON is another that should benefit from having a start and moving inside gives her a chance to take a share.

Race 10: Claiming $18,000 for NW $80,000 LT

(7) PRIVATE SCOTT could be sitting on a win after cutting some big fractions and hanging around last week. The barn has been hot, too, so he gets the nod. (6) HIGH FLYIN JAMIE and (8) ROCKINMYDREAM dead-heated for the win ahead of the choice last time and both are obvious threats right back. (1) MAKE IT COME TRUE could trip out from the rail and sneak into the exotics at a price tonight.

Race 11: F&M NW $9,000 L5 or $20,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $35,000 or NW $75,000 LT

(4) TUGGINONCREDIT is in easier tonight and she should get a good trip racing near the front; top call. (2) MAJOR LEAGUE N drops and Hensley will point this one-dimensional mare to the front and try to last. She could end up providing a perfect pocket trip to the choice. (5) CUSTARD LITE is razor-sharp and hard to leave off multi-race tickets at this point. (8) TWIN B TIPSTER shoots for a repeat for a hot barn and she is another viable option here. (7) SETTN A PRECEDENT will likely rally for a small share here.
