(3) INDRA raced well in her sophomore debut, but she came up against a debutante that was ready to fire a huge shot. She has a good chance vs. these. (1) ACADEMY SEELSTER broke her maiden in her ninth start, and she was turned out on a positive note last year, and she fits well here; using. (5) SUNBURNT stretched her legs from post 8 at Flamboro which should act as a nice tightener. Sharp improvement is likely coming from this filly tonight. (4) SIS took a mark of 1:53 2/5 at two so we know she is fast enough to go with these. Her qualifier was nothing special, though, so tab the tote for clues here.

Race 2: F&M 5YO and Younger winners of 2 but not more than 5 or $45,000 AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000

(7) BAD ROSSA is sharp, and she faces some good returning sophomores that may not be fully cranked for this conditioned race. I'll side with her expecting a square price. (2) BIG BIG PLANS is probably the best in here, but she has plans as her name would suggest for summer stakes season and she is no lock in this first start as a three-year-old. (4) TWO PISTOL ANNIE was a good 3rd to the choice in her sophomore debut and she's in the exotics mix again here. (9) FRESHEN UP is another returning sophomore stakes type that can take a share here in this 2023 debut.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRED GRADUATE SERIES TROT for 4YO 3rd leg

This race lines up to be another battle between (6) ADARE CASTLE and (4) ESPLOSIONE, with the nod going to the former, who has returned in top form as a four-year-old. (2) SAFE CONDUCT was better in his second start, and he can land in the Tri tonight. (7) MISCHEVIOUS ROSE will probably close from last here and finish on the edges again.

Race 4: NW $2,000 L3 AE: Starters for a purse of $9K or less L3 - Pick 4

(4) HIGH GEAR NO FEAR went to London and took a win with the trainer in the bike now he finds himself in a spot where there are no apparent leavers other than him. He has a big shot to lead all the way tonight. (1) MONTEVERDI closed well late, and he keeps Macdonald here. He will probably be the one to fend off late. (2) ROYALTY BEER's 2023 debut was good, and he can get a nice trip racing close to the front in this spot; using underneath. (6) PHEONIX should be part of the exotics in this field if he stays flat.

Race 5: F&M NW $26,500 L5 AE: NW 10 LT

(7) DABARNDAWGSWATCHIN returns in a good spot and her Rideau Carlton qualifier signals readiness; top call. (4) VOELZ DELIGHT had a useful tightener facing better mares now she will likely blast here. She should be a speed threat tonight. (6) SHES GOT IT ALL took a fast win two starts back and took a share in a higher class. She is an obvious threat here. (5) BEACH MOMENT dropped and popped and that was a sharp effort. She is in the exotics mix.

Race 6: F&M CLM $35,000 - Pick 5

(1) JITTERS BETTOR was claimed out of a good effort by a hot barn that has sent out six winners from its last 15 starters; top call. (4) COME ROLL WITH ME got the trip when she rolled past the choice, but she is sharp and dangerous. (8) THE IDEAL HUNTRESS got stung early and she still stuck around for a share. She should be a speed threat here in a race that should have a more favorable pace scenario for her. (6) JM BETONSIX should close late for another small slice.

Race 7: F&M 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,500 LT

Grand Circuit-placed (7) WINDSUN TIARA should handle these if the intent is there in this sophomore debut. (4) NO MONEY HONEY raced okay in the Spring series, and she will likely get better positioning tonight; using. (6) UNCONTROLLED's seasonal debut vs. a sharp debutante winner was good and she is in the mix here for at least a share. (1) CANADA FIRST LADY likely gets too far back starting from the rail and then closes late for a small slice.

Race 8: ONTARIO SIRED GRADUATE SERIES PACE for 4YO Mares 3rd leg

(9) SILVER LABEL got aggressive last week, and the race was effectively over as soon as she cleared to the front. I expect more of the same here. (4) INTOTHEMYSTICMOON was good, but she was in futile chase of the choice, because she had no room for the entire stretch drive. She could turn the tables with the right trip and some racing room. (8) RAPTORS WON was a stubborn first up against the choice last week and she hung in there until very late. She should be in the mix again. (5) VELVET STINGER is better than she has shown in her first two starts this year and she can crack the exotics if she wakes up here.

Race 9: F&M 5YO and Younger NW2 or $30,000 LT - Pick 4

(1) DUCHENNE came out firing and paced a big back 1/2 to break her maiden in her sophomore debut and I'll give her the call to repeat despite her facing tougher now. (7) LYONS BETTORDAY paced a huge mile in defeat in her 2023 debut and the outside post doesn’t matter much to her because she figures to be coming from the back anyway; using. (3) GLENBORO returns for Team Cullen, and she looks sharp enough to take a share here. (4) BLUE GLAMBER also goes for Team Cullen and comes off a maiden win, but this is a much tougher field and I'll use her underneath.

Race 10: F&M NW $8,000 L5 AE: Starters for a purse of $12K or less L3

(2) MYSTIFYING beats these if she can replicate her mile from two starts back. She can lay closer tonight starting from an inside post. (6) SO FRISKY couldn't be any sharper and she should offer a good price here. She is worth using starting from the best post. (4) WESTERN WISH was no match for a strong winner last week, but she fits well here, and she is another in with a chance. (1) EXOTIC DRAGON took advantage of the rail post last time in London and she should be part of the exotics tonight.

Race 11: NW $2,000 L3 AE: Starters for a purse of $9,000 or less L3

I like that (4) BUCK DANCER took a shot at making front last time and he has a better chance here moving to a much better post; top call. (5) VILLEFRANCHE AS gets both post and class relief tonight and that makes her a contender in this spot. (7) ROSIES WAR BONDS will be looking to bottom out the field, but she needs to find more late. I'll use her underneath. I could see (8) RESITA improving enough in this third start back to take a share.

Race 12: F&M NW $4,000 L5 AE: Starters for a purse of $9,000 or less L3

(2) SETTN A PRECEDENT drops to a likely spot for this third start back and this is a field that she is supposed to beat. (4) AMERICAN TICKET recaptured her form in her last start at Flamboro and her best puts her right there with these. (1) TWIN B BETTY is another making her third start back that should improve in this spot; using underneath. (9) TWIN B TIPSTER likely sits and rallies for a share in this spot. (6) HAPPY LOOKER comes off two big wins and she will likely head to the front again, but I don't see her lasting for more than a slice vs. these.
