Race 1: F&M 5YO and Younger Claiming $35,000 **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(5) JITTERS BETTOR just missed at this level now she gets J Mac and one of the best posts. She has a big shot tonight. (9) SWEET SANDY LOU got hammered at the windows and then equaled her lifetime best to get the job done. She should be the one to catch again. (8) THE IDEAL HUNTRESS was obvious on the class drop now she steps back up but she is another that took a lifetime mark and she is in with a chance tonight. (6) GIRL SCOUT COOKIE raced better last week and I can see her taking a share tonight.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRED GRADUATE SERIES PACE for 4YO Mares 2nd Leg
(4) SPEAKER NANCY is hot and so is her barn and I'm not sure bettors will flock to her tonight with some of the more high profile mares making their second starts back. I'll ride with her expecting a square price. (9) SILVER LABEL flew late in her seasonal debut. The question tonight is, does she get more aggressive, or race conservatively again from the worst post and close for a slice but fall short? (2) GOUDAWON's 2023 debut was good and I could see her tripping out to win tonight; using. (5) RAPTORS WON had pace but nowhere to go in the lane last week. She can take a share here.

Race 3: 3YO and 4YO Colts and Geldings NW1 or $7,500 LT
(3) DAY TRADER came up against a promising colt that was ready to fire a big shot and he was still closing at him late. He should be tough in here. (6) BROOKDALE JOHNNY’s local debut where he finished behind the choice was good and Macdonald sticks with him. He will probably be the main threat. (5) COLD CREEK GUERERO looks sharp for this comeback race and his barn has been sending them ready off qualifiers. He is probably faster than he was at two and he is worth a look here. (1) BETTOR B SIRIUS was competitive in the Harvest series last fall now he faces maidens. His is definitely in the exotics mix.
Race 4: NW $2,100 L3 - Pick 4
(6) RESITA made a late charge for a check last week but it was too late. The 31-time winner had taken a few of those victories over this track and I'll give him the nod. (3) GOLD EDITION likely needed last week's start and he is an obvious contender on the class drop tonight. (9) BUCK DANCER is worth a look for the exotics here dropping for this second start back. (4) ABRUZZO drops and returns quickly. I could see him landing a share tonight.
Race 5: F&M 5YO and Younger NW $17,000 LT
(3) FREESTARFLIGHT is 2 for 2 this year but she hasn’t been particularly fast in either win. I think that helps her price here and I'll side with him expecting improvement and a threepeat. (5) PINK MONSTER raced well in defeat to the choice at Flamboro and she is in with a decent chance tonight; using. (4) VIRTUAL KISS looks well prepped for this return and she has shown that she is fast enough to beat these. She could be flying in the lane. (10) MOONLIT AFFAIR looked good breaking her maiden but she came from midpack then now she draws worst. She may get out positioned tonight. I'd need a price.
Race 6: ONTARIO SIRED GRADUATE SERIES TROT for 4YO 2nd Leg - Pick 5
(7) ADARE CASTLE came out firing for her four-year-old debut and off that sharp win she gets the call to repeat. (3) RESOLUTE BAY closed like a rocket now he gets J Mac in the bike. He might get over bet now, but he is in with a chance. (5) ESPLOSIONE was a solid 2nd to the choice and he is in the mix again, likely racing from close range. (2) TWIN B ARCHIE was a grand circuit winner last year and he will likely be a good four-year-old, but I'll give him one returning in this tough spot.
Race 7: F&M NW $8,500 L5 or NW6 LT AE: Starters for a purse of $12,000 or less L4
Droppers will likely dominate this race. I'll side with (10) SHOOT THE WHISKEY, who raced well but got tired late in her local debut. She can improve on that effort, which was her first start in more than two months, and her price should be good with her starting from the widest post. (6) WESTERN WISH and (7) BEACH MOMENT finished just behind the choice now they draw better than that rival. Either one of these mares would not shock if they won. (3) SHESASHARPSHOOTER dropped and popped in fast time but this is a much tougher field. A small share is probably her ceiling tonight.
Race 8: 3YO and 4YO Colts and Geldings NW1 or $7,500 LT
(1) MUFFERAW JOE paced a 27 1/5 kicker while winning his debut at Flamboro Downs and that's not something you see very often. Off that strong effort, he gets top billing here. (3) BETTOR BEA TERROR was flying late in his seasonal debut but he ran out of racetrack. This is an easier spot and he should be a threat. (2) BACK POCKET MIKI was decent at two and he looks ready to fire in this sophomore debut; exotics factor. (9) AARONS ACE, stablemate to the choice, is a $20K Harrisburg buy that is related to several winners. He can land in the Tri or Super on debut despite drawing widest.
Race 9: F&M 5YO and Younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 or NW $45K LT AE: 3YO and 4YO to be claimed for $50,000 - Pick 4
(1) PHENOM SEELSTER was flying last week now she goes for Auciello and gets Drury in the bike. A more aggressive steer is likely coming now; top call. (2) BAD ROSSA was starting to dial in the leader when the wire hit and she should be a threat again here. (7) LYONS BETTORDAY, an OSS Gold winner at two, is capable of beating these but keep in mind this is her sophomore debut and she has all of stakes season in front of her. (6) TWO PISTOL ANNIE is an interesting shipper that took a fast mark at two but she likely also is pointed for a diet of stakes this summer. I'll use her underneath.
Race 10: FILLIES and MARES PREFERRED 2 HANDICAP
(9) NEED TO BREATHE raced well last week but she was chasing So Much More home and that is usually a futile pursuit. With that rival gone this week, this mare gets top billing. (1) MISS QUICK SAND is razor-sharp and she should offer a good price here on the class rise; using. (8) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP could get a setup similar to the one that led to a win at this level two starts back. She is worth a look for the multis. (2) AHOY flew late last week and she can close for a share here, too.

Race 11: NW $4,000 L5 AE: Starters for a purse of $10,000 or less L5
This is a big class drop for (9) SIMCOE SEELSTER and he could wake up in a big way if he stays flat tonight. (3) MONTEVERDI had good position last week, but he looked a bit flat trying to keep up to his cover, then re-rallied in the lane. He may have needed that start and he is worth a look at a price here. (2) SPARTAN GENERAL didn’t show much in his return race but there is no Perfetto in here and this race will likely go two seconds slower than that one. He can enter contention tonight. (6) ROSIES WAR BONDS will probably show speed and stick around for another slice.
Race 12: F&M NW $4,000 L5 AE: NW $1,150 L3 or Starters for a purse of $7K or less L2
(6) SUNDAY AFTERNOON drops and draws best and she should be sent forward leaving the gate this week; top call. Macdonald sticks with (4) BROKEN, who raced decently in a fast mile last week and she should be close tonight on the class drop. (5) STONEBRIDGE DRAMA couldn't go with a fast class dropping winner last week but then no one in that race could. She is in with a shot tonight. (8) TWIN B TIPSTER is another dropper to consider, but she tends to be trip dependent and I'll use her underneath starting from a wide post. (10) WILDCAT DELIGHT would be rated higher if she drew better and had a recent race. From out there, she is likely to be a fringe player.
