(2) E R NORMA is back for more after crushing at this class level last week and she will be very hard to beat if she comes close to repeating that effort. (3) CLASSIC MAGIC was decent racing against tougher last week, the ones in front of her were just too tough. She is the logical alternative to the choice and the other one that I’ll use in the Pick 5. (7) ZIP ME UP is another that is dropping, and he can improve enough to take s share here. (6) TYMAL TAROT gets needed post relief tonight. He should be part of the exotics.

Race 2: F&M NW $4,000 L5 or $12,200 L10 AE: OPT CLM $25,000

(5) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP drops again and it’s hard to see her getting beat at this level. She will be a Pick 5 single for me. (8) BUTTERFLY KISSES won at this level two starts back and her late kick should play here; Exacta factor. (3) BETTER BE DONNA N has been around the money when she races this low. She should sit a trip and land a share. (2) POWERED BY MACH will probably start faster and lay closer to the front here on the drop and with the better post. She could better this placing if she finds the pocket early.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRED SPRING SERIES TROT: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS 2nd Leg

(6) CAPTAIN WANIA raced well last week, but chasing Convoy Hall was mission impossible. He was well clear in 2nd, and he has a big shot to lead all the way in this short field. (4) STEAMER exits the same race and he closed some ground in the final 1/4. He is worth a price look for the Pick 5. (5) WHEELZABLAZIN qualified okay for this sophomore debut and he will likely get positioned close to the front leaving the gate then hang around for a share. (1) THE CANAM BANKER again should get a good following trip and land in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 4: ONTARIO SIRED SPRING SERIES PACE: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS 2nd Leg - Pick 4

(9) WARRAWEEFORLAURA won impressively again last week, making a big uncovered brush to blow his rivals away and he is the best horse in this series currently. He gets the call to notch the threepeat. (5) MAX PATRICK was okay last week, and some traffic issues prevented hi from finishing closer. I’ll try once again to get him in the Exacta at a price. (8) GIGITYGIGITYGIGTY gets Jamieson tonight as Borth opts for the choice. Holding off the choice might be a tough task for him here. (2) CHALK HANOVER closed at 2 to 5 last week and he never really got untracked. He will likely be closer here, but a small share is likely for him.

Race 5: NW $2,560 L3 AE: OPT CLM $20,000

(8) CADILLAC was a winner two starts back and the mare he beat that night came right back to win. He seems to fit well here, and I’ll take a price stab with him. (5) KEVIN ANTHONY was right there at this level last week and Henry is a good partner for him. He figures to be a threat racing close to the front again tonight. (1) EPIC DREAMER is good enough to beat these, the main concern being his recent breaking issues. I’d demand a price here with him starting from the tricky rail post. (10) SHES BEER LEAGUE’s comeback race was decent and she can be part of the exotics again.

Race 6: CANADIAN SIRED GRADUATE SERIES TROT: CANADIAN SIRED 4 YEAR OLDS 2nd Leg - Pick 5

(7) OSCEOLA missed the opening leg of the series but he qualified like he is ready to fire a big one in this four-year-old debut; top call. (4) GHOSTLY CASPER was sharp in victory in his return, and he can be even better here with a race under his belt; using. (5) HASTY BID had a productive sophomore season and he is another possibility for multi-race tickets. (3) LIKE CHAOS has been racing great but he is likely to take another slice facing even more classy rivals in addition to the one that beat him last week.

Race 7: F&M 4YO and younger NW1 or $7,600 LT

Returnee (6) SORCHA SEELSTER qualified faster than tonight’s rivals have been racing for purses and that should make her very hard to beat here. (8) P L RINCHENIA was nine lengths behind the choice on 4/8, but she kicked home in 27 1/5. She can be an Exacta factor tonight. (7) LADYTARIO should be sharper for this second start back. I see her taking a share. (10) SUNTAN CITY is worth a look at a price for the bottom of the exotics adding Lasix.

Race 8: ONTARIO SIRED SPRING SERIES PACE: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS 2nd Leg – Pick 4

(6) JMR SPEAK AWAY made a terrific recovery after being forced to take up to avoid two breakers on the last turn and he is the clear top pick here starting from the best post. (7) TRICKY MCWICKY was over bet last week, and he closed for 2nd to the logical winner who would be favored vs. these. He will be closing late again. (9) TAMWORTH BOY, 3rd behind Tricky Mcwicky, hasn’t missed the board yet and that streak should continue here. (1) GREAT BET looked okay in his qualifier, pacing a 28-flat kicker while being urged. He can be part of the exotics in this 2024 debut.

Race 9: CANADIAN SIRED GRADUATE SERIES PACE: CANADIAN SIRED 4 YEAR OLD MARES 2nd Leg

(5) POWDER PLAY raced tough last week, and she provided perfect cover for the winner. I can see her turning the tables here if she gets a different trip. (7) TALK CURDY TO ME followed the choice and got the job done at 1 to 5. She is the obvious threat. (1) ONE LAST WISH was winning the OSS Superfinal when last seen so her quality is obvious. She would be no surprise here. (8) CHEESY SMILE fires home quickly every week. I can see her sneaking into the bottom of the exotics.

Race 10: F&M 4YO and younger NW2 or $20,000 LT

(4) MIKKI SIXX jogged at 1 to 9 two weeks ago and she should have no problem handling this NW2 field. (5) CHEESE PARTY got faster as the season progressed last year and she could give the choice a race here; Exacta factor. (7) DISTANT LOVER was good in the Prospect Series last year but this will be a tougher assignment; small share predicted. (3) KISS MY CHEEK has a good kick on her best day and she can land in the Tri or Super here.

Race 11: F&M that have started for a purse of $9,000 or less in 1 of L5 AE: NW $4,700 L10 or 4YO NW $3,760 L4

(7) SWEET LOVING gets off the rail and lands in a field laden with non-leavers. There is a good chance that Henry will send her right down the road tonight. (1) LITTLEBEARCAT closed a good gap late last week and she should be a bit closer to the front tonight which will improve her chances; using. (3) ALLSTAR FINEST flashed speed last week and she can get a good trip racing near the front here if she leaves hard again. She is in with an upset chance. (6) DARKRSHADEOFPALE N woke up last week and closed well to get 2nd. She can come on late for another good share in this field. (4) GOODNIGHT IRENE attracts the leading driver but I don’t see what makes her the 3 to 1 morning line favorite. She is one I will try to beat out of the late Pick 4.
