Top Pick Stats: 127/454 (-$240.40) Best Bets: 16/41 (-$16.00); Spot Plays: 12/43 (-$13.20) Best Bet: PIZZAZZ HANOVER (Race 7) Value Play: SORCHA SEELSTER (Race 5) Early Pick-5: 2,3/4,8/1,5/1,3/1,9   $6.40 Late Pick-5: 3,6,7/4/1,2,3/6,8/1,6   $7.20 Race 1: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $9,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. (3) PANIC RAY is improving with each trip around the Mohawk oval and gets a big post switch tonight. A new pilot could give him a different trip this week. (2) JOSES TRIPLETS logically got tired after blasting to the opening quarter. McNair gives this one the nod, which is notable. (4) RIP THE PAGE has done little wrong in both morning preps and picks up a more than capable catch driver. His dam was competitive early on in her career. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: FILLIES & MARES, 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $9,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. (8) COLD CREEK COTIJA flashed potential in limited starts at two and comes off a blowout victory in her lone morning prep. Methinks she will be ready to roll right away, if put in play. (4) CENTURY MONTANA has a start under her belt this year, which presumably gives her a tightener edge over her main rivals. Roy should have her on the move in the early stages. (6) SEVEN SUMMERS AGO started her sophomore season strong, but got in her own way in her last two efforts and needed a little time off. She got around the track just fine in her return qualifier. Race 3: FILLIES & MARES, NW $2,500 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $7,250 LAST 8 STARTS. (W/O $10,750 LAST 8 STARTS N/E). AE: OPT. CLM. $20,000. (1) KIERA SEELSTER answered the call again last week when let go as the favorite. Many of the other early speed types are unable to make a second move that is good enough. (5) P L RINCHENIA could have shown a touch more given the trip she got, but it was a solid effort in her first start of the year. I would expect her to be tighter. (6) SILVER MAJESTY was much better last week in her second start on Lasix. Roy gives her the nod and is likely to have her on the move early. Race 4: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $44,500) LIFETIME. (3) WESLYN HANOVER had to be held together when the field rounded the final turn, but closed down the center of the track extremely well and ended up winning by two lengths. She appears to be improving, and will need to step forward again. (1) MARLENES LEGACY needed a few weeks off after a tiring stretch of races. Her qualifier was very strong, but will she be able to bring that punch right away? (6) WEDNESDAYS CHILD stayed flat last week and flashed late interest, but what usually follows is some shaky steps or a break in stride. She can close for a piece if she minds her manners. Race 5: FILLIES & MARES, NW $9,450 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $22,750 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: NW 4 RACES OR LIFETIME. (9) SORCHA SEELSTER usually shows late interest, but she was unable to find room last week. Her second start on Lasix could unlock a little more if she can work out a trip. The lack of wins lately are well documented, but the price will be right. (1) GLENBORO didn’t get her kind of trip last week when moving back up to Open competition. She is much better when on or near the lead. (5) TH SUMMER LOVIN was a fringe stakes filly last year and raced well around the bigger tracks. She will need to class up here, but her two morning preps are a good start. Race 6: NW $1,000 LAST 4 STARTS. AE: N/A $615 P/S IN 2026 (MIN 7 STARTS). AE: OPT. CLM. $12,500. (6) DONATOVER was extremely overmatched in last week’s Pop-Up. He was better two starts ago and draws a post that should allow him to be in the mix off the car. (3) ARCHIMEDES is hard to trust given his lack of recent wins, but he is usually in the mix when dropping to the bottom level. He gets a big post switch tonight as well. (7) VICTOR INVICTUS should improve when dropping to this level if Plante can get him off the car. He has shown more than enough speed to get the job done if the trip is good enough. Race 7: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 RACES OR $76,500 LIFETIME. (4) PIZZAZZ HANOVER was given every chance on the front last week and dominated with a sharp mile. She faces a near identical field to last week, and I don’t see her getting pressured enough in the early stages. (7) STELLRMANIPULATION has a much better chance of getting away towards mid-pack instead of at the back, which should set her up well to pass horses late. I just don’t think she can catch the favorite. (8) BRITTAS BEST BET had to take back after taking a few bad steps at the start. She recovered well to finish third behind Pizzazz Hanover. She may have to work from last, though. Race 8: POP UP SERIES FINAL: STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS IN 2026 (W/O $50,000 IN 2025 N/E). (1) HEY RALPHIE got a different driver last week but was equally as competitive. His recent form and versatility gives him as good of a chance as anyone in this final. (2) MUSCLE FASHION pulled off the upset from the high draw last week after working out a perfect trip. J-Mac has a great track record with this classy veteran. (3) NO ANGEL LIKE ME has been sharp in recent weeks and also has a good chance to pull the slight upset if she can work out the right trip. Race 9: FILLIES & MARES OPEN. (8) CAVIAR N CRACKERS might not have the best chance of working out the right trip in an overflow Open field, but it’s hard to deny how much interest she showed on the end after being last at the three quarters. (6) ANGOSTURA HANOVER has become the new queen of the Open level, but was given the win last week when a slow first half was set. I don’t think she gets it that easy this week. (7) TELLS ON A ROLL showed plenty of punch from the back in a mile that should probably set her in the right direction. I can see her getting a piece tonight. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 10: F&M, NW $6,000 L4 OR NW $12,000 L8 STS. (WO $31,500 LAST 8 STARTS NE) AE: OPT. CLM. $30,000. AE: STARTERS FOR PURSE OF $11,000 L3 AE: NW $40,000 IN 2025-26. (1) MADAM X got another trip that forced her to grind into contention. She followed good cover, but the favorite was never losing on the front. A quicker start from the rail this week is key. (6) KELLINA DIAMOND could easily rebound if given a speed try. She was okay last week, but had to work first over into a slow middle half. (4) BETTERNOTMACHME is usually always in the mix and pops up with an effort that lands her on the ticket every now and then. She can add some value to exotics. Race 11: NW $2,500 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $10,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $20,000. AE: $1,470 P/S IN 2025-26. (6) KEVIN ANTHONY has held his own in his last two tries against tougher stock. When last seen at this level, he was a very good second after a speed try. The post sets him up perfectly to do that again. (1) JGS PAL is a grinder who gets a big drop in class. He can work into the mix from mid-pack. (3) JOKIC was just even last week but that could be seen as a tightener. He was really rounding into form before the interference break.
