Top Pick Stats: 127/454 (-$240.40) Best Bets: 16/41 (-$16.00); Spot Plays: 12/43 (-$13.20) Best Bet: THE FIXER (Race 4) Spot Play: PIZZAZZ HANOVER (Race 9) Early Pick-5: 1,9/3,4/7,8/3/1,5   $3.20 Late Pick-5: 2,7/4,7/1,2/6/4,5,9   $4.80 Race 1: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $37,500) LIFETIME. (1) EXQUISITE DANCER has taken steps forward in each start at three and seemed to like mixing it up in the early stages. I expect her to be right there again, albeit at a much shorter price. (9) ANGELS AMOUNG US has been extremely sharp to start 2026 and is another who can show sturdy speed on both ends of the mile. The only limiting factor here is the post. (6) ESMERALDA DU LAC just missed to Angels Amoung Us last week. Roy has done a nice job of putting her in play and giving her chances to succeed. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW $2,500 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $5,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $20,000. AE: NW $9,000 IN 2026. (4) EUROBANK HANOVER looms as probably the biggest question mark we’ve seen so far this year. Remarkably, every time he didn’t break last season, he won. He likely only needs to bring 60 or 70 percent to beat this field, but that could all be undone with a few poor strides. (3) BUCK DANCER has only missed the board once to start his season, but he doesn’t quite seem to have the punch that he had a couple of months ago. A taxing winter schedule might have him a step short again. (5) SPARKS FLY was a horse that many supported two back, but a logical speed try saw him unable to finish the job. He should be one of the first to the lead again, but trust is waning. Race 3: FILLIES & MARES, 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $9,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. (7) LDS KIMBERLY was put in play last time and produced a much better effort against the aforementioned Esmeralda Du Lac. She is improving with each start, and should be a major threat tonight. (8) WINDSUN CHELSEA stuck a head in front after racing first over, but was unable to sustain that move in the final quarter. There is still plenty of upside with this inexperienced filly. (2) LIZA MAE being scratched last week doesn’t add any concern to her, in my opinion. She is another filly who appears to be getting better with each start. Race 4: POP UP SERIES: STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS IN 2026 (W/O $50,000 IN 2025 N/E). LEG 2. AE: LEG 1 STARTERS. (3) THE FIXER has been holding his own against tougher horses in his last few efforts. This drop into the Pop-Up Series is one thing, but to pick up James Macdonald tonight is even bigger. I would expect the veteran to try and go all the way. (6) STONEBRIDGE ZEUS has been solid when Louis Roy is at the controls. He has enough gate speed to get himself into a stalking spot. (1) DELCREST BRENT tends to work from off the pace, but has flashed a little more gate speed recently. I can see him passing rivals late and getting a piece. Race 5: FILLIES & MARES OPEN 2. (1) LETS N JOY N is a perfect 6-for-6 in Canada, and her last effort was probably her best. She has proven that she can be a top level mare. (5) CAVIAR N CRACKERS was pace compromised last week in yet another Open that had soft fractions. I think she deserves another look at what should likely be a square price. (4) ABSOLUTION also had no chance to make up the necessary ground after Angostura Hanover jogged in the first half. She should work out a similar mid-pack trip with McClure in the bike. Race 6: FILLIES & MARES, NW $9,500 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $19,500 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: N/A $3,410 P/S IN 2025-26. AE: OS 4 YEAR OLDS. (7) WESTERN WISH, on paper, looks like she is tailing out of form, but I don’t put too much stock in her losing the sprint two back, and last week’s race has been talked about already. A speed try could get her right back into contention. (2) LA MIKI N was mired at the back in her latest and never really had a chance to show her best. She is another down under shipper who has shown that she can hang at the upper level. (8) TELLS ON A ROLL has been an Open staple for a while, and should probably be put in play off the drop, but her recent form has been nothing special. I think she is susceptible. Race 7: POP UP SERIES: STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS IN 2026 (W/O $50,000 IN 2025 N/E). LEG 2. AE: LEG 1 STARTERS. (7) GOOBER SMACK was able to swing to the outside and eventually edged away from rivals. His last two efforts have been good, and he should slot right into this Pop-Up Series if he can mind his manners. (4) JOKIC looked set to make a good impression in this series last week, but was a weather scratch. His recent trouble has not been his fault. Look for him to sit a good trip. (5) HUNGRY HILL has been flashing gate speed but usually finds himself unable to finish the job. I’ll use him underneath after he likely races near the front. Race 8: FILLIES & MARES, NW $6,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $12,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $30,000. AE: N/A $2,325 P/S IN 2025-2026. (2) MADAM X grinded out a good second place finish behind heavy favorite Glenboro. She gets big post relief tonight and should find herself with an easier trip. (1) BLINDED BY DELIGHT was a strong winner when last seen at this level. If she can get away well from the rail, she should be in for a good finish. (3) KELLINA DIAMOND gets to face some easier mares this week and should find her way towards the front, where she was extremely good in the Pop-Up Series. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 RACES OR $50,000 (OS $75,500) LIFETIME. (6) PIZZAZZ HANOVER was a similarly good third when coming out of the same race as Glenboro and Madam X. She has yet to find the winner’s circle this year, but the right trip could end that streak. (4) EA MONEY MAKER got to within half a length at the wire, but didn’t appear to have as much pop last week. It could do her some good to be closer to the leaders this week. (7) STELLRMANIPULATION was mired at the back against tougher and never got involved. She may have to make two moves, but that turned out to be a winning play two starts ago. Race 10: FILLIES & MARES, NW $2,500 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $7,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $20,000. AE: NW 2 RACES IN 2025-2026. (4) TAMARA HANOVER’s best chance, in my opinion, is to be forwardly placed off the drop. Her two recent tries at this level were solid, grinding efforts. I can see her getting towards the front relatively easily. (5) KIERA SEELSTER held on for the win last week as the favorite. Look for her to also be forwardly placed from a good post. (9) CHEESE PARTY is likely to try an off the pace trip when returning from a sick scratch. I can see her passing some horses late and getting onto the ticket.
