Race 1: F&M CLAIMING HANDICAP $10,000 to $12,000 **$100,000 GTD Pick 5**

(9) VINES TO HEAVEN raced decently vs. much better when claimed by Auciello and she will be very hard to beat here if Drury can clear to the front with her before they reach the 1/4. (5) PICKLES ON TOP, the other mare racing off a fresh claim, has been hot, but she may just end up following the choice around the track here if that rival brings her 'A' game. (7) KICKIN COWGIRL was given a smart steer by trainer/driver Hudon last week to beat lesser and she should be in the exotics mix again. (2) KIWI FOCUS N raced decently last time from the 10-hole and she should be good for another share tonight.

Race 2: F&M CLAIMING $15,000 for NW $66,000 LT

(7) ZARCONIA SEELSTER has the best late kick in this field and there appears to be enough early speed to set up her stretch charge; top call. (1) HALLSGLENMAVIS got pounded at the windows off the Bako claim last week and she was right there at the wire. She is an obvious threat tonight. (4) RED DIRT STAR raced okay when claimed by Fine and she is another to consider for early Pick 5 tickets in a race that has a few options. (3) MACHING BEAUTY drops into a claimer and she isn't out of the question either if she can work out a decent trip.

Race 3: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L9

(1) ARRAKIS was gunned out from a wide post on 3/5 and he finished evenly when facing better that night. I can see Macdonald taking control of this race in the second 1/4 and leading all the way from there. (7) SONOFAMILLIONAIRE has improving form and gate speed to get valuable position early in the mile. I'll use him in the early Pick 5. (10) NEON LIGHTS made a middle move last week now he gets a driver change to hot teamster Roy; using. (8) HORSE TRADER could wake up with this drop to the bottom conditioned level. Give him a look for the bottom of the exotics.

Race 4: SNOWSHOE PACING SERIES 2ND LEG - Pick 4

(6) MAKE IT COME TRUE looked good rolling past them all last in the mile last week and there is enough speed lined up to his outside to set up his late charge again; call to repeat. (7) LYONS LIBERTY was nailed late by the choice last week. Maybe he can ride his cover this week and turn the tables; using. (3) BETTOR IN CASH has been heavily bet in both starts since returning from the break and I could see him improving enough to win tonight. He's the third one that I'll use in multi-race tickets. (4) HES SWIFT is right there every week and he's a good one for the bottom of Tris and Supers.

Race 5: CLAIMING HANDICAP $15,000 to $20,000

(5) QUAN BLUE CHIP got rolling too late and he had to overcome some traffic issues last week, too, but he was eating up real estate quickly when the wire came. Claimed by Moreau out of that race, I'll give him the nod to knock off the hot (4) BEACH BABY BEE who was also claimed and is obviously the one to catch. (1) KINGOFTHEJUNGLE goes to Auciello off the claim and he has had some success with him in the past; using underneath. (6) GOLDINTHEBADLANDS drops and gets Macdonald back in the bike. He can pass some of these late and land in the Tri or Super.

Race 6: SNOWSHOE PACING SERIES 2ND LEG - Pick 5

(2) MODERN ROCK moves into Auciello’s barn and lands in a good spot tonight. I'll side with him in a race where he will likely need a high placing being that he missed the opening leg of this stakes series. (5) MAJOR MAKEOVER couldn’t seal the deal last week but he has the look of one of the main contenders here and he may have to be caught again. (1) DRAGON ROARS AGAIN fell just short as the heavy chalk in leg 1 last week. He should be a threat right back. (9) NOCH TEN is in great form but the 9-hole doesn't help his cause here; using underneath.

Race 7: F&M NW $8,900 L5 or $19,500 L10 or NW $65.000 LT AE: NW $1,200 L3

This is a good level for (8) DONT STOP BELIEVIN who qualified well. I'll gamble that she is blasting for the front in this first start back. (5) SPORTY TORI made several moves last week and fell just short. She steps up one class level but McClure sticks. She should be a threat. (3) SUNDAY AFTERNOON was game racing first-over last week. She will be leaving tonight and she is another strong wing candidate here. (2) LYONS TILT HANOVER should go better here moving to an inside post but I prefer to use her underneath.

Race 8: CLAIMING HANDICAP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $75,000 LT - Pick 4

(5) PORTRSTOWNCHRIS IR was game when beaten by a big chalk that was extending his winning streak to four last week and now, he gets his nose back on the gate tonight while making his second start off the Johnson claim. He should be tough to beat here. (6) SALVADORS SUN was in too deep last week. He fits claimers much better and he should be right there vs. these. (3) CURIOUS CORTEZ has been on a roll racing on the 'B' tracks and he should get a piece of this. (4) D GS SHALLWEDANCE is always around the money and he is a good one to use underneath in this spot.

Race 9: FILLIES AND MARES PREFERRED HANDICAP

(6) IVANA FLYBYE N is one of the sharpest racehorses on the grounds currently and she should be tough despite stepping up to the top class. (7) SO MUCH MORE is the obvious one to fear racing against her own gender again, but she could be overbet in this spot. (2) GIAS SURREAL didn't show much last week but that wasn't surprising considering it was her first start back and she drew poorly. She could improve sharply here at a price; beware. (3) WESTBEACH is is solid form right now and she can take another slice here racing near the front.

Race 10: F&M NW $3,000 L5 or $7,700 L9

(7) VILLAGE JAMIE raced okay in her first start for Auciello and I'll give her a slight nod in a tough race. (4) SO LONG DARLING drops to the bottom conditioned level and she is a contender here by default considering there are few with good recent form. (3) WHISTYS PARADISE can enter contention making her second start back and this isn’t the toughest spot; using. (1) TAKEYOURBREATHAWAY races best at this level and she should get at least a slice.

Race 11: F&M NW $8,900 L5 or $19,500 L10 or NW $65,000 LT AE: NW $1.200 L3

(5) TEATIMEPREACHER GB looked sharp winning here last week and if she has more improvement coming, she can be tough to beat here. (6) MAJESTIC VIRGIN draws well and drops to a level where she fits best. She is another in with a decent chance. (2) ROSE RUN VICTORY is another dropper who should improve in a race where it makes sense to price shop. (8) JIMBELINA should be passing a few of these and she's a good one to use underneath. (1) TEAM KIWI N should sit a following trip and beat some of these to land in the High-5.
