Picking up the leading driver here makes him the one to beat. (7) TYMAL TAROT was only a neck behind the choice in a good effort and he should be the main threat here. (3) CROSSFIT is worth a look exiting the top classes at London and Rideau. He is another Pick 5 possibility. (6) STONEBRIDGE ZEUS should come on late again to fill out the Tri or Super. Race 4: F&M 5YO and Younger NW2 or $30,000 LT - Pick 4 (4) SWEETEST BELLE looked a winner in the lane last time, but she couldn't get past a resilient leader who was winning her third straight. This filly should be tough in here. (2) CHEDDA CHEDDA tripped out to win the Blizzard final, but her excellent gate speed should put her into position to get another good trip here. She figures to be a threat. (1) JITTERS BETTOR should find some cover here and that’s when she’s at her best. Look for her to close late for a slice. (6) ALLSTAR FINEST brings sharp form in from Flamboro, and she can close for a slice. Race 5: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $30,000 LT (8) DOC HOUSTON flashed big late speed last time and Henry will likely have him in closer contention this time. I'll give him the nod over (7) BIG ACE, who could wake up in a big way with this drop into a claimer. (2) ZIPPIDY ZOOM, who was first up in the same race as the choice, can sit a trip and land a share here. (4) THE COLT is worth a look for the exotics adding Lasix tonight. Race 6: F&M NW $4,000 L5 - Pick 5 (4) VOLUPTUOUS drops to a level where she should be tough, and McNair should be aggressive with her in this spot; top call. (8) MYSTIFYING is another dropper that figures to blast for position, and she figures to be the main threat in this second start back. (7) EXOTIC DRAGON was close at this level two starts back and she is in with a decent shot tonight. (6) WILDCAT DELIGHT fits okay here and she will probably get position early and ride a trip to a share. Race 7: NW $2,000 L3 (2) H P RUNNING MASS drops and adds Lasix after racing first up vs. tougher and he gets the nod in a tough race. (5) IMA STANDUP GUY’s winning effort from 2/3 might be good enough to win this if he can stay flat and replicate it. It's encouraging that he fired a 28-flat kicker in his qualifier. (8) ROSIES WAR BONDS is another dropper that is worth a look in this spot. The speed that she showed last start makes her a threat. (6) CASCADA is worth a price look for the exotics with Macdonald in the bike and starting from the best post. Race 8: FILLIES and MARES PREFERRED 2 (2) NEED TO BREATHE went the toughest trip and she was only a 1/2 length short last time. I think Cullen moves early this time and tries to control the race. (1) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP probably got the best trip, but she knew what to do with it and she should be a late threat again. (6) MAJOR LEAGUE N is sharp, but I don't see her carrying her speed the whole way at this level. Another small share is likely for her. (3) WESTERN WISH gets post relief here and she should be closer tonight. Race 9: F&M 5YO and Younger Claiming $35,000 - Pick 4 (4) THE IDEAL HUNTRESS raced better last time and there could be a Cullen speed blast coming now; slight nod. (5) BABY BONITA can be closer if she finds a live helmet to follow tonight. I think she sits and rallies now and she is in with a shot here. (1) GIRL SCOUT COOKIE is another that could leave quicker here. Give her a look for the exotics. (6) JKS LIFESAVER should pass some rivals late in the mile and land in the bottom of the exotics again. Race 10: F&M NW $1,630 L3 (2) ITTY BITTY finished with good energy in her last start but she had nowhere to go in deep stretch. She drops and this is a field she can beat. (3) OUTLAW IMAHOTVIXEN should be closer early getting off the rail post tonight. I could see her tripping out and winning; using. (5) ARYA STARK is worth a look for the exotics getting McNair in the bike tonight. (7) BUTTERFLY KISSES can close for another share in this spot. She looks well-prepped for her 2023 debut, and she gets top billing. (5) TWIN B SUNKISSED drops to a similar level where she won three starts back and she should work out a good trip racing near the front tonight; top call. (6) LOCK BRIDGE is another that should improve at this level, and she should be more aggressive vs. these; using. (2) SPORTY TORI is another dropper that is in with a decent chance in a good betting race. She should be rolling off cover late in the mile. Race 12: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $65,000 LT (8) SO STRANGE raced well here with Cullen in the bike two starts back and he gets top billing with that driver returning. (2) ALLY FLIGHT was good here on 2/17, re-rallying for 2nd and he should be a threat in this spot. (3) MALVOLIO should find this conditioned claimer easier and it us unlikely to go in sub-1:54 time. He is another in with a chance. (6) PROMISE ME A WIN raced better last time but he exits the potent Barrington barn via claim; your call.
