(3) FEEL ITINYOURHANDS and (8) WILDCAT DELIGHT battled to the wire for 3rd last week and they look best here. Nod to the former who draws better and has the leading driver. (6) KELE KELE raced okay against class dropping Western Wish who would be favored in this race. This mare is in with a chance here. (1) MYSTIC WILD ROSE is in easier here and she can improve enough to sneak into the exotics.

Race 2: 4YO and younger NW1 or $7,500 LT

(3) PURELY WICKED took plenty of action on debut and he converted and looked good doing it; call to repeat. (5) SAILORS SHADOW made the first move and ended up providing cover for the choice. That was a solid effort, and he should be the main threat here; using. (6) JO PAS LAZARUS flashed early speed took a shuffle and landed 3rd behind the top two choices. He is in the exotics mix again. (2) LAMBORGHINI LOU brings some good form in from Flamboro, but these are tougher; small share predicted.

Race 3: F&M NW $16,500 L5 OPT CLM $70,000

(4) JM BETONSIX got Macdonald in the bike last week and she went right down the road, missing her lifetime mark by only one tick. On paper, she rises in class but so do many of her rivals; call to repeat. (5) MS QUICK SAND fits better here not having to face class droppers from the top level like she had to last week. She is in with a decent chance. (2) WESTERN WISH flew home to get the job done last week and she is in the exotics mix here. (8) WILDCAT STAR can close for a small share at a price; using on the bottom.

Race 4: NW $20,000 in 2023/24 or N/A $1,000 per start in 2023/24 (Min. 10 starts) - Pick 4

(5) ROYAL LEAF got Macdonald in the bike last week, was provided a perfect trip and he took his first win in his last 52 starts. He faces seven of the same horses here and gets the call to repeat. (4) CADILLAC was making a move when he jumped it off in that race. He can contend here if he stays flat. (3) SOUTHWIND CAESER followed the choice most of the way and stayed for 3rd. He can take another share here. (6) TALISMANO cut the mile but went too fast on the engine. He can make his way into the exotics with a different trip.

Race 5: F&M 4YO and younger NW1 or $7,500 LT

$80,000 London buy (7) DIVIDEND is from a mare who has produced nothing but winners, including two that both earned in excess of $460K. I’ll take a shot with her on debut in a spot that doesn’t look very tough. (5) ALWAYS A CATCH improved last week but she couldn’t keep the lead racing over a track rated two seconds slow. She should be a speed threat again. (8) JACINDA got a perfect trip and had a clear shot in the lane, and she couldn’t catch Always A Catch for 2nd. I’ll use her underneath here. (10) BIG GIRL DREAMS comes in off two blowout wins in London, but she likely takes a small share here starting from the widest post.

Race 6: 4YO and younger NW1 or $7,500 LT - Pick 5

(3) CAPTAIN FALK was game in defeat last week and if repeats that effort he will be tough to beat here; top call. (4) CAPTAIN NASHVILLE has taken action in all of his four starts, but his most recent effort was his best. He should be the main threat here. The colt that Maritimes invader (8) MR ANDREYCHUK beat in his qualifier won his debut and he is the top pick in race 2 tonight. He is worth using in the multis. (5) ALLSTAR PLAYBOY has passed horses in every start, and he is worth a price look for the exotics.

Race 7: NW $2,050 L3 AE: OPT CLM $20,000

Tough race here to end the early Pick 4. I’ll take a shot with (9) O NARUTAC PERFETTO, who beat a better field on this track six races back. (3) EZRA is inconsistent, but Macdonald wins these types of races regularly; using. (4) SHESTHELUCKYONE raced better with McNair driving but she gets Filion now. A repeat of last week’s effort makes her a contender. (5) JAYPORT ROADRUNNER took action last week, but he never really got into the race. I’ll use him underneath here.

Race 8: F&M NW $8,000 L5 AE: OPT CLM $50,000 AE: NW8 or $100,000 LT or NW $9,500 in 2024 - Pick 4

(2) SPLASH OF PINK paced a storm in the final 3/16ths to get up for the win last week and she is capable of stepping up to win here if she brings her best effort; call to repeat. (7) COZ IM SPECIAL paced a sub-55 back 1/2 in a fast race last week and she can win here if she gets put into the race this time; using. (1) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP drops to a level where she should improve, and she could get a good following trip starting from the rail. She is another to consider for multi-race tickets. (5) ALABAMA HANNAH will get activated at the start and she should get a good trip racing on or near the lead and stick around for a share.

Race 9: F&M 4YO and younger NW $20,750 LT

(6) STAY CLASSY was about to commence what would probably have been a winning rally at the head of the lane when she ran into the eventual winner’s wheel and broke. She should rebound here. (3) AVAS ANGEL BABY will rightfully take action exiting the Blizzard series and Roy will put her into play facing easier here. She is the one to fear. (7) RED DIRT FLASH closed well last week. She can be an exotics factor here. (5) STARBETS followed to the stretch got a clear run in the lane between horses, and she couldn’t convert. I’ll use her underneath here.

Race 10: F&M 5YO and younger winners of 2 but not more than 5 or $45,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO CLM $50,000

(6) MY HUNGRY GIRL took a ton of action last week and she raced great, but she provided perfect cover for the mare that nailed her late. She looks good vs. this field. (2) IRIS SEELSTER paced a winning mile last week only to get nailed by a rival that paced out of her skin. She is an obvious player here. (1) MONSOON raced decently in the Blizzard series, and she should be good for a share here. (4) GLENBORO regularly sits trips and takes shares and that trend should continue here.

Race 11: NW $5,950 L5 or $11,500 L10 AE: OPT CLM $25,000

(7) STELLA ALPHA had trot to offer in the lane last week, but she got blocked several times and finally found room at the tote board when it was far too late. I’ll give her the call to upset tonight. (6) MISTER MAGIC made a nice recovery after breaking last week and he will likely get an aggressive steer from Macdonald here starting from the best post. He will be a threat if he stays flat. (5) RITSON is 1 for his last 23 and he will likely get over bet in this spot. I’ll play to beat him. (9) COOL CLIFFORD should get a more aggressive steer on the class drop tonight but I prefer to use him underneath in this spot. (4) BLOGMASTER can improve enough in this second start over the track to make it into the exotics.
