Wide-open race to kick off the early Pick 5 and I'll side with (7) SOME CAMEO, who raced well in the deep freeze here last Friday. (8) WRITE THE RULES qualified well for her sophomore debut; using. (4) TWO ACROSS MARION finished fast in her debt and she is another in with a chance in a race where it makes sense to go deep for Pick 5 coverage. (9) ELSIES DELIGHT raced okay in her sophomore debut, and Macdonald keeps the lines here. She is another Pick 5 possibility.

Race 2: F&M NW $8,400 L5 or $95,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $45,000

(2) SHANGHAI SEELSTER was locked in until very late in the mile last week and she finished with pace but she found room far too late. She can be better here in this second start for Moreau, and she gets top call. (4) JK ROLLINS BABY is the one to fear dropping in class again. She's a big threat to lead all the way tonight. (5) TWIN B TIPSTER raced tough uncovered on the rim last week. She is in the mix again, but she needs a better trip. (8) MISS ROCKADALI always puts herself in contention and she should be part of the Tri or Super.

Race 3: F&M 5YO and Younger NW $15,000 LT

(7) SWEETEST BELLE was highly regarded on debut last year, going off at 6 to 5 in a Grassroots race and she converted. She looks ready for this initial start of her sophomore season, and she gets top billing. (8) NOOTKA had no shot from the 10-hole in the Blizzard series final. Sharp improvement is likely here; using. (3) WINDSUN MOJITO is another that exits the Blizzard series that is worth a look for the early Pick 5. (1) TESLA POWER is in tougher, and she will be under the gun early from the rail. I'll use her underneath tonight.

Race 4: NW $2,100 L3 - Pick 4

(4) LOOK AT DAT KAT drops for this seasonal debut, and he faces several that show questionable current form. He should have a big shot here. (8) CREATINE STAR lacked room in the lane last week when 50 to 1 and its encouraging to see McNair sticking. He's the other one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (6) NEVER MIND N can improve in this second start for Puddy and land in the Tri or Super. (10) LIONS WISH NL raced better last week; price look for the exotics.

Race 5: F&M 5YO and Younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $45,000 AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000 or NW $4,100 in 2023

(5) AMERICAN TICKET faced some of the best sophomore fillies last year and this looks like a good spot for her four-year-old debut, top call. (2) GIRL SCOUT COOKIE stacks up well vs. these and she could get a good trip racing neat the front; using. Improving (4) BAD ROSSA is another that projects to get a good trip racing on or near the lead and she can take a share. (7) ACRIMONY was first up last week and that wasn't going to work. I think she sits and rallies for a slice tonight.

Race 6: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $38,750 LT - Pick 5

(4) TOUCHEM ALL JOE made a menacing late move, but he couldn't catch a strong winner last week. That was a much-improved effort, and he gets top billing here. (5) JJ TOMMY is in much easier tonight and he should go much better vs. this group. He is hard to toss at this level. (1) WELLADVERTISED is another that has shown recent improvement and he has the look of a contender vs. these; using. (3) ZIPPIDY ZOOM raced okay to take a share at this level last week and he should be in the exotics mix again.

Race 7: NW $4,000 L5

(4) GOODGOLLYMISSMOLLY raced much better last time signaling a return to her best form and She could lead all the way here with regular pilot McClure back in the bike. (8) TYMAL TAROT is in easier here and Jamieson should put him into play; using. (5) ROSIES WAR BONDS is another that's in easier that could do in this spot. (6) BUCKYS ANGEL should get put into play early by Maclean and he is good enough to stick around for a share.

Race 8: F&M 5YO and Younger NW2 or $31,250 LT AE: 3YO 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $35,000 - Pick 4

(4) BABY BONITA's form might be a bit darkened because she has been facing dominant Emmy Lou Hayes in her past two starts. With that one not here tonight, I'll take a shot with her expecting a good price. (8) FROMAKINGTOAQUEEN raced tough at this level last week and she should be right there again; using. (7) JITTERS BETTOR was an easy winner two starts back with Macdonald driving and he returns tonight. She's in with a decent chance. (1) A BLACK DIAMOND raced okay in her first try at this level and she should be good for another share.

Race 9: F&M NW $20,000 L5 or NW8 LT AE: Starters for a purse of $15,000 or less L4

(1) BETTER BE DONNA N will be aggressive here on the class drop and she is the one to beat. (7) LOCK BRIDGE was locked up tight for the entire stretch drive last week. She can be an Exacta factor tonight. (5) SPORTY TORI rallied well into a slowing late pace to get up for the win last week. She is sharp and she should contend right back. (8) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP should rally from the back for a slice here.

Race 10: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $65,500 LT

(4) STEWS WATCHING made a strong winning move vs. similar here last week and off that sharp effort he gets the call to repeat. (7) MANHATTAN JOE tried a late wide move in that same race, but he flattened out a bit late. Claimed by Moreau, he is worth a look here. (6) JITTERBUG FLIP won and was claimed, and he is the third sharp contender that is in with a chance. (3) LAND OF ROYALTY was out a long way and still closed for a share last week. He can rally into the Tri or Super tonight.

Race 11: F&M NW $4,000 L5 AE: Starters for a purse of $8,500 or less L3 or OPT CLM $20,000

(4) TRAFALGAR looks sharp for this return, and she adds Lasix. This is a good spot for her; top call. (2) LITTLEBEARCAT is a relentless closer that brings it every week and she is an obvious contender here despite the small class rise. (3) EXOTIC DRAGON drops back down for this third start back and I wouldn't be surprised if Cullen blasted with her this time. Tab the tote for clues here. (1) JM BETONSIX takes frequent shares, and she can be part of the Super here starting from the inside. (5) NIGHTLIFE SEELSTER’s recent form is good enough to suggest that she can take another share in this spot.
