Top Pick Stats: 35 - 117 / $179.40 (-$54.60) Best Bets: 6 - 11 / $23.70 (+$1.70) Spot Plays: 2 - 11 / $8.50 (-$13.50) Best Bet: OKEANOS (10TH) Spot Play: NORA D (2ND) Early Pick 5: 5,8/1,6,8,9/2,5,6/1,2/7,9,10 = $28.80 Late Pick 5: 1,3/2,7,8/1,4/2,3/9 = $4.80 Early Pick 4: 1,2/7,9,10/1,3/2,7,8 = $7.20 Late Pick 4: 1,4/2,3/9/6,8,9 = $2.40 Race 1: SNOWSHOE PACING SERIES 3YO and 4YO Colts and Geldings NW2 or $30,000 LT **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5** (5) EMMETTS BUDDY was simply too far back last week and he draws better here so he should be positioned closer to the front early in this mile; top call. (8) LAST BEACH has been right there in every start since returning from lameness and he figures to be the main danger to the choice. (1) FULL DISCLOSURE added Lasix and jogged despite missing three weeks but these are tougher. I'll use him underneath here. (2) PALLADIUM HANOVER was another that took a sharp win that is in tougher now. I see him landing a spot in the Tri or Super. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M NW2 or $27,000 LT (8) NORA D was out a long way and she stayed game last week. She can beat these if she gets a better trip. Something obviously was amiss with (1) TESLA POWER last time. She should rebound here. (6) JITTERS BETTOR has won half of her starts and she picks up the leading driver here. She would be no surprise in this spot. (9) JK LIFESAVER typically comes from far back so the outside post shouldn't matter much for her. She should be a late threat tonight. Race 3: F&M winners of 4 but not more than 6 or $80,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $60,000 (2) LOCK BRIDGE was on good cover last week, but the 58 3/5 middle 1/2 favored the mare that she was following. She gets the nod here. (5) ACRIMONY was full of pace in the final 1/4 last week and is seemed inevitable that she would sail by the leaders and she did so easily. She rates highly here. (6) BEYOND THE SEA should get a better tip here starting from the best post and she is another that could win here. (1) WILDCAT STAR was motoring late last week and she figures to be in the exotics mix again. Race 4: F&M NW1 or $7,500 LT - Pick 4 (2) MIST AMBER almost caught a big chalk in her local debut in a good effort and she gets top billing here. (1) BABY RUBY was well behind the choice last time, but she did pass horses late and she could get a better trip here following the choice; using. (3) REGIL IRISH should get a trip racing close to the front and take a share. (6) RIBBON RIDGE takes frequent shares and she should be part of the Tri or Super. Race 5: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $37,000 LT (9) MANHATTAN JOE paced a big mile in defeat at Flamboro Downs last Sunday and he figures to be tough in this spot. (10) PROMISE ME A WIN is sharp and he can't be left out racing off the Barrington claim. (7) JITTERBUG FLIP should get another good trip here and he would be no surprise if he notched a repeat. (3) HURRIKANEKINGCARLO is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics with J Mac in the bike. Race 6: SNOWSHOE PACING SERIES 3YO and 4YO Colts and Geldings NW2 or $30,000 LT - Pick 5 (3) THE WILL TO PLAY is sharp and he fires home quickly every week. He should be the one to beat here. (1) CAMARA MOMENT was game in victory last week and McNair will likely look to make a similar middle move to control the race. He will have to be caught. (9) CALL ME IT wasn't asked for anything until the 3/4 pole in his debut and he closed nicely but this is a tough step up. He is one to watch going forward, but a small share is probably his ceiling here. (6) DON’T POKE THE BEAR probably takes another small share here. Race 7: NW $4,100 L5 or $8,000 L10 or NW $2,750 L3 AE: OPT CLM $20,000 (8) PUBLICITY SEEKER elected to stay in last week and that probably cost him the race because he got caught behind a stopper in the third 1/4 and lost too much ground. He was flying late but ran out of racetrack. He gets top billing here. (2) MORALLY FLEXIBLE improved immediately with Macdonald in the bike. He figures to be a threat again tonight. (7) VICTOR INVICTUS should be heard from late in this spot; using underneath. (4) ILLUSIONAL fits well here and he can take a share coming off a rest. Race 8: F&M NW2 or $30,000 LT AE: OPT CLM 3YO, 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $35,000 - Pick 4 (4) THIS GIRL RULES steps up but she is razor-sharp and she should take another here. (1) EMMY LOU HAYES drops and she should improve enough to contend for the win; using. (8) FEEL ITINYOURHANDS dug in for a game win but she faces tougher here and she will likely take a smaller share in this spot. (5) FROMAKINGTOAQUEEN should be in the exotics mix starting from a good post here. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: FILLIES and MARES PREFERRED (3) SO MUCH MORE missed a bit of time but that could benefit her after so many tough races in a row. I'll give her a slight nod over (2) NEED TO BREATHE, who showed a chink in her armour last week. (6) WESTERN WISH tripped out to win at this level last week but she likely doesn't get that same perfect trip here. I'll use her underneath. (5) DABARNDAWGSWATCHIN likely takes another small share in this spot. Race 10: NW $2,100 L3 AE: OPT CLM $15,000 (9) OKEANOS gets a notable barn and driver change, adds Lasix and he qualified fast for this debut for new connections. He could get pounded at the windows and jog vs. these. (3) NEVER MIND N should wake up at this class level and Drury will likely get aggressive with him leaving the gate. He can be an Exacta factor. (5) L DEES PATRICK gets J Mac back here and while he has obvious gait issues, he should be a factor if he stays flat. (1) LINCOLN TRANSSR NL is another coming off a break in stride that can be in the exotics mix if he stays flat. Race 11: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 (9) TUF COOPER took a new life's mark when claimed now he goes for the top barn. He is the one to beat here. (8) HES REALLY KEEN tried to pass them all when 4th to the choice in what was a good effort. He could do here if there is a strong early pace. (6) SOUTHWIND BRONN’s last start is a toss due to broken equipment. He should improve here and he gets Macdonald in the bike. (5) ASSASSINS CREED got a rough trip last week and he predictably tired. Starting from the middle of the gate gives him a better chance to take a share tonight. (2) STEWS WATCHING, stablemate to the choice, is worth a look for the exotics dropping into a claimer.
