Trainer Tackoor seems to have him figured out and he gets top billing here. (3) PIPEWRENCH CHARLIE keeps getting smoked by Needabanloan but he won’t see him tonight. He raced well in defeat to that rival, and he fits well here; using. (6) BETTER BE GOUDA was shaded for 2nd by Pipewrench Charlie last time and he is another viable option for the Pick 5. (7) TAYLORS CREDIT is one of the better closers in this field and he can come on late to take a share here. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: POP UP SERIES CONSOLATION 2 (8) DAY TRADER hasn’t won yet for his current connections, but he also hasn’t finished worse than fifth in those five starts since being acquired. He can complete the double for the Tackoor/Willis barn. (4) TIME TO DANCING produced a good late kick last week now he gets off the rail which should mean he gets better position early in the mile. He looks like the main threat. (3) SMART THINKING is another that closed well in his last start. He should be part of the exotics again. (2) BEYOND BETTER is better than he showed in his last two starts. He can sneak into the Tri or Super in this spot. (8) GRANNYS WATCHING produced a nice late kick last week, but she draws worst and she’ll likely be closing from last here; small share predicted. (2) TRIBAL DANCER comes off a solid Pop Up effort and she will likely show speed early and stick around for a share again. Race 4: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 (FM 4) RACES OR $28,250 (OS $34,500) LIFETIME. AE: N/A $1,150 P/S IN 2023 OR 2024 (MIN 8 STARTS) - Pick 6 (7) FASHION CONTENDER jogged last time he raced at this level four starts back and I think he will offer a decent price here based on his recent form; top call. (10) STEAMER got a driver change to Macdonald, got hammered at the windows, then jogged. He is an obvious threat to repeat despite drawing widest. (4) ULTRA LADY S improved last week and she draws better now. I see her closing for a piece tonight. (3) STONEBRIDGE GLEE was a strong winner vs. maidens now he faces tougher. A small share is likely for him tonight. Race 5: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $8,500 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES We won’t get anything close to 11 to 1 on (6) TWIN B ALLIANCE tonight, but I will go right back to him coming off an impressive debut effort. (2) BLAZING CRUISER’s debut mile was decent too, but like the choice, he is another rookie taking on elders. It’s hard to gauge intent in these cases, but he can contend if he gets put into the race; price look. (7) ADMIRAL DEO is in the hunt every start, but he has been falling short. I’ll use him underneath here expecting more of the same. (4) PUFFS LAST SHADOW finishes 4th regularly. He’s a good one to use on the bottom of the Super. Race 6: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $43,250) LIFETIME  - Pick 5 (9) SWIFT TALKER beat similar as the 1 to 5 chalk here last week and she has a big shot to repeat here despite drawing widest. (4) FOREVER BETTOR was nailed by the choice in a good effort, and she can be an Exacta factor right back. (6) DIRTY DIANA shoots for a threepeat here but she faces tougher. I prefer to use her underneath in this spot. (7) LE BEC FIN is worth a look for the exotics getting the leading driver in the bike tonight. Race 7: POP UP SERIES FINAL: HORSES & GELDINGS NW $30,000 IN 2024 (MIN 15 STARTS). AE: N/A $1,500 PER START IN 2024 (MIN 15 STARTS) Good betting race here and I think (10) NEEDABANKLOAN, who has been razor sharp for weeks, might be the value dur to his wide draw; top call. (3) BATTERUP HANOVER was used hard last week, and he shriveled up in mid stretch. I think he will bounce back here, but I wouldn’t take a short price. (9) CONTROL THE POWER looked good winning last week and he has the gate speed to overcome the wide draw. He is another in with a shot. (4) MAJOR FERNCO N was driven aggressively last week, and he impressed driving away from the favorite, who rode his cover on the final turn. I prefer to use him underneath in this field.   Race 8: FILLIES & MARES, 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $10,250 LIFETIME. WITH ALLOWANCES - Pick 5 (1) LIQUOR IS QUICKER and (3) BANNER DAY cooked each other last week now both draw better. They will likely get easier trips here and while I’ll use both on multi-race tickets, I’ll side with the former on top because she should offer the better price. (7) WHISKEY BLUE CHIP finished ahead to the two choices, but she got a much easier trip. I see her finishing in the bottom of the exotics here. (8) FUNNEIGH raced okay with the driver change to Borth. I can see her closing for a slice. Race 9: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 (FM 4) RACES OR $28,250 (OS $34,500) LIFETIME. AE: N/A $1,150 P/S IN 2023 OR 2024 (MIN 8 STARTS) - Pick 4 (7) SPIN FOR LIFE took a big step forward winning his last start, and he produced a big late kick. He gets the top driver now and he is the pick here. (6) IDITAROD is the one to fear dropping back down to NW2 after finishing with broken equipment vs. better; using. (1) LOOKS LIKE AMUSCLE has been finishing his miles well since he returned from a break. He can get a good piece of this. (2) VANJIE BLUE CHIP should fare better here getting post relief, but I prefer to use him underneath. I think (5) POWDER PLAY gets sent forward leaving the gate this week and that gives her a chance vs. this group. She is on my late multi-race tickets. (8) TWIN B TIPSTER drops, but she will likely be closing from the back after leaving from the widest post. I’ll play to beat her. She can get a trip racing close to the front here. She’s in the exotics mix. (6) GOOBER SMACK comes off a decent closing effort and he should be in the mix leaving from the best post tonight.
