Race 1: F&M NW $6,000 L5 or $15,500 L10 AE: NW $31,000 in 2022 **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(2) VOLUPTUOUS gets McNair for the first time in a race that doesn't have many that figure to leave hard. She may control this race from the outset. (3) BAD ROSSA gets away from hot rival Lock Bridge tonight and she will likely look to leave quicker. I could see her tripping out tonight; using. (8) COME ROLL WITH ME was rolling in deep stretch but she was too far back. She is capable if she can be closer at the 3/4 pole. (4) CASIMIR SWAMP GIRL tripped out to blow up the tote board and she is in the exotics mix again.

Race 2: NW $12,000 L5 or $23,500 L10 or NW9 LT: AE: Starters for a purse of $15K or less L3
(1) NAUTICAL HANOVER was victimized by a slow pace last week and pacing a 53 2/5 back 1/2 could get him no better than 6th. I think he can get a better setup here and I'll try him expecting to get a square price. (4) STONEBRIDGE REX was similarly thwarted by a slow early pace and he gets McNair back now. I think he gets more aggressive tonight; using. (5) GRAND POOBAH is razor-sharp and he is another in with a shot in a race where he should get a good trip racing near the front. (2) SOUTHBEACH HANOVER raced well despite stepping up and he will likely be the one to catch tonight.

Race 3: FILLIES and MARES PREFERRED 2
(8) NEED TO BREATHE was very aggressive last week and she looked a winner until the 1/16th pole when she started to tire from her early efforts. She could trip out and win at a price here starting from the widest post. (1) VOELZ DELIGHT got the leading driver last week and broke her losing streak right away. She is a threat right back. (2) JKS ROLLIN BABY raced well in defeat but the rival that rode her cover was too strong late in the mile. She's not out of this. (3) DABARNDAWGSWATCHIN raced first up and just missed and she is another contender in a race that will likely be settled by trip.
Race 4: F&M 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 4
(1) J M SPEAK EASY took a ton of action on the driver change to Roy last week but she was simply out too long, not making front until past the 1/2. Drawing better here, I'll call her to turn the tables on (3) ABSOLUTE EUPHORIA. The latter flashed an impressive late kick that justified the action she took considering she came into the race off a mediocre qualifier. She is the obvious one to fear here. (8) GETITGETITGOTIT was also out a long way and she hung on for a slice. She is in the exotics mix. (7) ALLSTAR FINEST brings some good form in from Flamboro Downs and she can take a small slice.
Race 5: Popup starters for a purse of $10,000 or less in 1 of L4
(7) BEACHIN LINDY comes into this in peak form having just won well in London's top class and he should be tough to beat in this spot. (10) ALTA ENGEN A went too fast too early last week now he gets Macdonald in the bike. He can be a threat even starting from post 10. (4) FIXED IDEA took some curious action last week then he made a wide bid for the lead around the last turn. Tab the tote for clues with this gelding tonight. (2) ST LADS CASH retains McNair who will likely find him a trip near the front. He can land in the Tri or Super.
Race 6: F&M NW $12,500 L5 or $22,000 L10 or NW6 LT AE: starters for a purse of $15,000 or less L4 - Pick 5
(8) LOCK BRIDGE will likely need to be faster here facing tougher, but she might be up to it. J Mac sticks with her over the #7 horse and she gets my nod. (5) TWIN B SUNKISSED is razor-sharp and she will be rallying late again; using. (1) SNOW SHARK is capable at this level and she could get the setup and trip she craves starting from the rail. She is another in with a shot. (3) KARMA SEELSTER will likely flash early speed again and stick around to take a share.
Race 7: Popup starters for a purse of $10,000 or less in 1 of L4
(5) JET ROCK comes out of the toughest races and he only sneaks into the race having raced for a purse of $8,500 once. I expect aggression from teamster Jones; top call. (7) MR MACH JIMMY was in an impossible position on Monday night and he couldn't rally. I think he has a much better shot vs. these and he may vault past them all late. (9) HARRY G looked good rallying past easier in his local debut but this is tougher and I'll use him underneath. (2) DAY DELIGHT ships in from Ottawa like the choice and he figures to be in the exotics mix.
Race 8: NW $12,000 L5 or $23,500 L10 or NW9 LT AE: Starters for a purse of $15,000 or less L3
(1) JOELSSY HANOVER was out of position in a paceless race last week. His effort two starts back at this level is a better indication of what he is capable of and he can bounce back here. (5) ACTOR HANOVER flew late off a great trip to just miss. He steps up multiple levels but he is sharp and dangerous. (3) BEYOND BETTER keeps getting bet and also keeps rallying too late. He'll get there one of these weeks, maybe tonight? (4) COMMANDING OFFICER is capable of taking a share vs. these; using underneath.
Race 9: PREFERRED - Pick 4
(4) WHEELS ON FIRE draws better here and he should get sent hard leaving to assure a good trip. I'll give him the nod over super mare (7) SO MUCH MORE, who is the one to beat and would be no surprise if she doubled up vs. the boys tonight. (5) SINTRA continues to race great for The Stable and he should be in the mix tonight. (6) NO FREE LUNCH will likely close late for a small share.
Race 10: F&M NW $3,000 L5 or $8,000 L10 or starters for a purse of $9K L3 AE: OPT CLM $20,000
(3) EMMY LOU HAYES gets needed post relief here making her third start for Barrington and she should be better in this spot; top call. (7) JM BETONSIX is the other dropper and she should be aggressive again in this spot; using. (4) MY ONLY SUNSHINE is yet another dropper in with a shot as she also gets an improved post. This race should come down to these three mares. (2) WILDCAT DELIGHT can close for another small slice.

Race 11: NW $18,000 L5 or $32,500 L10 or starters for a purse of $16K or less in 1 of L4
(7) CADILLAC BAYAMA used a 26 3/5 third quarter to lower the boom last week then he easily drew away. He is razor-sharp and he gets the call to repeat. (2) SOMETIME SOMEWHERE is also razor-sharp for a red-hot barn and he wouldn’t be a surprise on the class rise here. (1) ARMOR SEELSTER improved sharply when 2nd to the choice. He should be in the exotics mix again. (5) LEGION SEELSTER draws better here. He should be part of the exotics.
Race 12: 5YO and Younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $45,000 LT AE: 3YO and 4YO to be claimed for $50,000 **Mandatory Payout Jackpot High 5**
I'm going to go back to (5) HOWIES MAN, who was bet like it was a surety that he would reverse his form last week. He went out and won even easier than it looks on paper. J Mac vacates to the #2 horse, but I don't read much into that because that barn is his main stable for stakes stock and it is expected that he would show loyalty there. (4) PETIPOU was a game 3rd at this level last Saturday and I think Jones puts him into play early tonight looking for a trip racing near the front. (6) EMMETTS BUDDY raced okay last week following inside most of the way. He can be dangerous here if he gets into the outer flow. I would like (12) YOURETHEONE better if he drew on the gate, but he is capable of a big rally and he can't be discounted. (2) ACAPULCO SUNBURN has been first up in two straight races and it didn't work out so Macdonald will likely find him a better trip tonight. He should be part of the High-5. (3) CONTROL THE POWER gets McNair back and he draws better. I see him sitting and rallying for a slice. (11) THE BOSS SAID will likely be on a lot of High-5 tickets but he projects to be far back early after leaving behind a slow starter. Your call, but I will hope to beat him out of the top 3.
My High 5 tickets: 5/2,4,6,12/2,3,4,6,12/2,3,4,6,11,12/2,3,4,6,7,8,11,12 = $64
2,4,6,12/5/2,3,4,6,12/2,3,4,6,11,12/2,3,4,6,7,8,11,12 = $64
