(1) SALDANA HANOVER gets off the 10-hole and gets Macdonald back and this looks like a spot where there should be a solid pace to track. I’ll give her a slight nod. (2) ELISES DELIGHT raced much better last week, and I could see her tripping out with an inside following trip then rallying late this time; using. (9) GLENBORO has been right there in three straight starts and she should be blasting for position again. She should be in the exotics mix again. (10) POWDER PLAY is hot, but post 10 might be too tough here; using underneath.

Race 2: Horses that have started for a purse of $9,000 or less in 1 of L3

(10) PHEONIX went a long mile in the slop at Flamboro and still hung in to take a share. He fits well here and drawing the outside post helps his price; top call. (8) LION ON LANDON draws slightly better for this second start over the track and Macdonald sticks with him. He should improve tonight, and I’ll use him in the early Pick 5. (2) IMPRESSIVE DUDE was right there last week, and he should get another good trip racing near the front. He is another one in with a chance in here. (3) KATKIN MORGAN closed a gap late in a good effort last week and he should be good for another share here.

Race 3: F&M 5YO and younger NW1 or $7,500 LT

(8) CAVIART SABRINA drops from NW2 to a maiden race and returns to a seven-day rotation and she is the one to beat here. (4) TWIN B ROULETTE was a victim of pace last week as she tried to advance first up into the teeth of a 28-flat third 1/4. She idled then came on again late and she can be sharper in this third start back. She should be the main threat. (5) NO PLACE TO HIDE is a good one to use underneath seeing as she is around the money every week and has taken 11 slices in 17 starts this year. (9) HOT COE COE raced okay here last week. She is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics.

Race 4: NW $2,000 L3 AE: OPT CLM $20,000 - Pick 4

(7) HEAVENSDOR HANOVER makes his second start at this level, and he is better than his recent form suggests. We know from experience that he can blast off the gate and I’ll take a stab with him hoping that Hensley sends him tonight. (8) SHES BEER LEAGUE is the only class dropper in the field, and she figures to be the main danger here, likely stalking from close range; using. (6) LOOK AT DAT KAT’s first start since April was a good one last week and she will likely take a lot of play off that good effort. She is another contender, but she could get over bet. (3) HESOHOT HANOVER swooped ‘em in a good effort but he isn’t known for stringing wins together. I’ll play to beat him here.

Race 5: F&M 5YO and younger NW2 or $30,000 LT

(2) WAITINONAWOMAN had lots of late pace last week, but she was simply too far back. She moves inside here which should help her get better position early; top call. (6) FIRSTOFANERA ships north, races out of the Menary barn, gets J Mac and class drops. She is hard to leave out, but she could be odds-on, and she has missed three weeks. Your call. (3) WILDCAT HERA was beat by a filly that would be a heavy favorite in this field. She should be in the mix again. I’ll use her underneath. (7) FASHION FORWARD raced okay in the Harvest Series. She can close for a share here.

Race 6: NW $5,500 L5 AE: OPT CLM $25,000 LT - Pick 5

(4) GIGONDAS drops and likely pops here as the chalk getting Macdonald in the bike tonight. (9) MISTER MAGIC is on his game, and he has been racing tough for several weeks. His speed and grit make him a threat. (1) RESOLUTE BAY raced better in his second start back. I can see him sitting and rallying for a share tonight. (10) FRANKS ANGEL needs a clean line here so he will likely be driven carefully from post 10; small share predicted.

Race 7: F&M NW $16,500 L5 AE: NW6 LT

(4) MOMENTARY CONTROL lacked room until it was too late last week, then she closed willingly along the pylons. I’ll give her the nod here. (2) MYSTIFYING drops and she will take action here. She tends to be trip dependent, but she should be a late threat. (7) VELVET STINGER gets Macdonald back tonight and she will likely get a more aggressive steer. That makes her a contender, but she is no lock in this spot. (8) SNOW SHARK will likely close from the back to take a small share.

Race 8: NW $15,000 in 2023 - Pick 4

(7) BUCK DANCER raced okay vs. better last week and this field is considerably easier. He should boss these on the front end. (5) SHES GOT PIZAZZ has a good chance to land right in the choice’s pocket leaving the gate and she could provide some Exacta value tonight. (9) CLASSIC MAGIC comes off two good efforts at this level, but a smaller share is likely for her starting from a wide post. (4) MY HOLEY MOLEY made a big move uncovered that he couldn’t sustain last week. He should be in the exotics mix again.

Race 9: F&M PREFERRED

(4) ANNABELLE HANOVER looked good powering away to a win racing one level lower than this last week. I’ll stick with her in a spot where she almost surely will go off as third choice. (6) HUNTRESS is the one to beat coming off a strong win at this level and having taken three wins in her last four starts. (5) SO MUCH MORE comes to play every week and the 68-time winner gives bettors a run for their money every week. I prefer to use her underneath in this spot. (3) DABARNDAWGSWATCHIN likely sits a trip racing near the front and lands in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 10: F&M NW $5,800 L5

There are several class droppers in here and that makes me want to go price shopping. I’ll side with (1) FREE TO BE ME who should offer some value by default being that driver Brett Macdonald tends to get under bet even when he drives contenders. (3) SAULSBROOK OLYMPIA was a close third vs. better in a fast mile two starts back then used up early from a wide post last week. She is another that can go off as an overlay here; using. (7) TWIST LITTLE GIRL N was Macdonald’s choice and she is another in with a shot here. I imagine she will get put into play early in this mile. (4) SETTN A PRECEDENT should be good for a share vs. these.

Race 11: F&M that have started for up purse of $9,000 or less in 1 of L4 AE: Not averaging $1120 per start L10

(2) SAUBLE AMBER made a nice wide move against a class dropping winner last week and she fits well here. She gets top billing. (1) GOLDEN LEADER finished just behind the choice, and she moves inside. She may try to control the race and she should be the main threat. (6) SILLY BUT SERIOUS ships west off a win and moves to Barrington’s barn. She is worth a look here. (7) CHELSIS CHOICE raced better last week, and she gets a slightly better draw here. She should be part of the High-5. (5) TWIN B TIPSTER should pass a few of these late and finish on the edges.
