(7) RUSTYS BETT took all the action at the windows last week coming off a good effort the week before. He converted and took a new lifetime mark, and he gets the call to repeat here. (2) RISE N GRIND figures to improve racing for a tag tonight and he was J Mac’s choice. He will be on my Pick 5 ticket. (6) ARAGONITE failed as the chalk last week, but he has a better chance to make front leaving the gate this time and that makes him a contender. (8) SPEEDY BLINDERS has shown he fits well at this level, and he should be part of the exotics again.

Race 2: FILLIES & MARES, 2 & 3 YEAR OLDS NW $15,000 (ON SIRED $18,750) LIFETIME. AE: 3 YO N/A $805 P/S IN 2023 OR 2024. (MIN 5 STARTS)

This is a good spot for (5) DIRTY DIANA, who was taking a check in a Grand Circuit race when last seen; top call. (3) OCEANSIDE MAGIC was a victim of pace in leg 2 of the Harvest Series. She fits okay here, and she should be a threat; using. (1) COLD CREEK ESPERO raced well in two straight, and she should be in the exotics mix again here, likely passing rivals late to hit the ticket. (4) ALWAYS ADELE should be better tonight returning quicker for this second start over this track; using underneath.

Race 3: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 (FM 4) RACES OR $20,000 (OS $44,750) LIFETIME

(2) VANJIE BLUE CHIP crushed at this level two starts back and he likely holds a tactical advantage over his main rivals. He gets top billing. (6) GIVE ME A YANKEE produced big late kicks in both starts and he should have no problem handling the step up to NW2; using. (8) PERFECT ANGEL was ready for her local debut, and she was out a long way and still got the job done. She should be a threat right back coming off that solid winning mile. (3) STEAMER comes off a workmanlike maiden breaker and he likely lands in the bottom of the exotics facing tougher here.

Race 4: FILLIES & MARES, NW $2,500 LAST 5 STARTS OR NW $6,700 LAST 10 STRTS. AE: NOT AVERAGING $1,090 PER START IN 2024 (MIN 10 STARTS) - Pick 4

(6) MENDING FENCES doesn’t have to deal with the mare that beat her in both of her last two starts here and she has a good chance to go right down the road. (2) ULTRA finished right behind the choice in both those races and she has been producing a strong late kick for driver Hudon. I could see her getting there this week; using. (10) DUCHENNE was an easy winner last time J Mac drove six starts back but her current form is sketchy. From post 10, I’ll use her underneath. (1) CHELSIS CHOICE should pass some of these late and land in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 5: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $33,500 LIFE. AE: 3 YO OPT. CLM. $40,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. AE: 2 YR OLDS

(8) MIKKI SIXX was conservatively driven in her comeback race, and she should be sharp now. I’ll give her the nod expecting a decent price with (2) CANT SEE ME in here. The latter is the obvious threat exiting the Breeders Crown and getting a driver switch to Roy. (7) WICKEDWOMAN DE VIE kicked home well to get the win last week, but these are tougher; using underneath. (1) VENDETTA BLUE CHIP is right there every week, and she should take another share here.

Race 6: HARVEST SERIES: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES, NW $30,000 IN 2024 AS OF SEPTEMBER 30TH 2024. NO ALLOWANCES. LEG 1 - Pick 5

(6) LANESIDE INCONTROL was going well before she scratched sick. If she is tight enough, she should win here. (5) RESILIENCE’s sophomore campaign has been disappointing, but this is a good spot for her, and it would be no surprise to see her return to the winners circle tonight. (4) BOOTS N BLING has been flashing big early speed at Flamboro. I see her blasting to the front, yielding, then hanging around for a share. (3) MILLIES SPIRIT is another that should be good for a share in this spot.

Race 7: FILLIES & MARES, NW $8,900 LAST 5 STARTS OR NW $19,750 L10. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. AE: NW $48,850 IN 2024 (MIN 10 STS)

(4) FIRSTOFANERA gets Lasix and Macdonald, and she doesn’t have to face So Much More tonight; call to upset. (3) LEE LOO drops and gets McNair back and she is an obvious contender on paper; using. (8) WILDCAT STAR has hit her best stride recently and she should offer a good price in this spot. Consider using her on multi-race tickets. (1) NEED TO BREATHE steps up off a big Flamboro win, but she has won here before at higher levels. She is another contender in what should be a good betting race.

Race 8: HORSES THAT HAVE STARTED FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS IN ONE OF LAST 4 STARTS. AE: N/A $1,710 P/S IN 2024 AE: MARES NW $4,500 L5 - Pick 4

(9) ETERNALLY HANOVER is in peak form, and he has shown that he has the gate speed to overcome the widest post; top call. (4) PRINCE OF SUSSEX was a winner with J Mac driving when last seen here three starts back and he could offer some value on muti-race tickets tonight. (3) VICTOR INVICTUS fits better here and Hudon will likely drive him more aggressively in this spot. He is another that is in with a decent chance. (8) KAMERAN HANOVER likely closes late for a share starting from out there.

Race 9: HARVEST SERIES: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES, NW $30,000 IN 2024 AS OF SEPTEMBER 30TH 2024. NO ALLOWANCES. LEG 1

(3) DEFININGTHE MOMENT kicks home in 27 and change every week and she should be tough to hold off in this short field. (1) KIERA SEELSTER should be better in this second start back. I see her as an Exacta factor tonight. (2) FIRST CAST missed some time, but she should be good for a share nonetheless. (5) ROCKS SHADOW crawled to the 3/4 last week then she was never getting caught. I don’t see her getting the same trip tonight; small share predicted.

Race 10: FILLIES & MARES, NW $25,500 LAST 5 STARTS. AE: N/A $4,500 P/S IN 2024

(7) SHES GOT IT ALL is in top form and she will likely offer a good price here as she seeks a repeat score; top call. (5) TELLS ON A ROLL got picked off by the choice but maybe she slowed the pace down too much in that mile. She should be the one to catch. (2) SO MUCH MORE has found her stride again and she gets her regular driver back as she seeks a threepeat. I think she gets over bet here facing tougher, though, and I’ll play to beat her. (3) HUNTRESS should be good for another share off a following trip.

Race 11: FILLIES & MARES, NW $4,000 LAST 5 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $30,000

(8) SPORTS DUCHESS won the last two times that she raced at this level, and she gets the nod with Macdonald choosing her over others. (7) HES EXPRESS brings some good form from Buffalo, and she gets the oft deadly first time McNair angle; price look. (4) STONEBRIDGE DRAMA, coming off two narrow wins vs. easier, likely takes a smaller share this time racing close to the front again. (2) EXOTIC DRAGON shouldn’t get hung out to dry this week moving to an inside post. She should be in the exotics mix. (1) SILENT CROSSING takes frequent shares, and she should be good for another slice tonight.
