(2) RACING FORTHE MARK has excuses in her last two starts. She draws well in a spot were she fits tonight and she gets top call. (5) STATE OF MIND was overtaken in a swift third 1/4 last week and she had no response for the winner. That was a solid effort, though, and she could do here; using. (1) MY ONLY SUNSHINE is another that draws better tonight and that can help make her a contender in this spot. (3) BEACH MOMENT had a solid season last year and she qualified well for this. She can contend for a share tonight.

Race 2: Claiming $17,500 for NW $47,000 LT or NW $1,000 L3

(6) THE SHINING is right there most weeks and he fits well in this small field. I'll give him the nod tonight. (5) BLUE MONK wasn't far behind the choice last time. He will likely get put into this race earlier and that makes him a threat. Macdonald sticks with (3) PACK YOUR BAGS for a third start and that makes him worth a look for the exotics tonight. (1) STORMY HALL GB is capable vs. these but he is risky coming off a lame scratch; your call.

Race 3: NW $3,400 L5 or NW $7,800 L8

(9) VEYRON has recorded scores in the past in similar situations when shipping in from 'B' tracks and I'll take a swing here hoping for a price. (4) PROFOUND PARAGON should find this spot easier and Filion should put him into play early tonight; using. (5) HARRY is another that's in easier who should improve sharply in this spot. He is another for consideration for early multi-race tickets. (1) TIMESTORM will take action on the class drop here but I don't love the rail post for him. I'll play to beat him.

Race 4: F&M 5YO and Younger NW3 or $30,000 LT - Pick 4

(2) LADY AKILA slipped off the pylons onto 4th-over cover last week, swung widest, then closed with interest. She can beat these with a more aggressive try tonight and that's what I'm expecting; top call. (6) ADDICTIVEBEHAVIOUR finished with interest, but she briefly got trapped in midstretch behind the tiring leader. She could be better tonight in a spot that looks slightly easier. (3) JUST CALL ME SONG is capable of better than she has shown recently (see her Harvest Series final win in November) and if she gets in the outer flow tonight, she could surprise. (1) IM CHIARA comes off a nice effort in the claiming stakes series final and she should be in the exotics mix again.

Race 5: F&M NW $10,500 L5 or NW $23,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $25,000

(3) NEWSDAY lacked room two starts back and she took heavy support last week because of that and the class drop last week. She couldn't hold off better and now she drops again. She should be tough in here. (8) BETTER BE DONNA N was used up early last time vs. similar. She has the potential to add value to the exotics tonight. (7) KICKIN COWGIRL exits the same race as the choice and she is worth a look here making her 4th start for the leading trainer. (1) MY BABY GIRL will likely take a stalking approach tonight. I see her closing for a slice.

Race 6: CLM HDCP $12,000 to $18,000 - Pick 5

(5) BETTOR NOTBITTER A took a while to get going last week, but he kicked in halfway down the lane and got the job done. It's feasible to expect him to improve in his second start racing out of the Marfisi barn; call to repeat. (1) MACHIN A TRICK would not be denied making his first start off the claim last week and he should be the choice's main rival tonight; using. (3) SPECTRUM SEELSTER was game in defeat last week and he is always in position to challenge at the head of the lane it seems; using underneath. (2) WINDSONG NAPOLEON rarely misses the top four. He is a good one to use on the bottom of the Super.

Race 7: NW $6,000 L5 or $13,000 L10 - Pick 4

(4) GLOBETROTTING was lost in the fog last time, but she gets to drop and she should set up shop on the front end tonight; top call. (2) FLY BEYOND returns quickly off a race where he trotted a big third 1/4. He is worth using tonight. (1) ITSTIMETOGOHOME had an equipment break four nights ago. He won at this level in December and he is in with a chance here. (7) SHES GOT PIZAZZ has raced better recently and her sharp gate speed should put her in good position early here; using underneath.

Race 8: Claiming $17,500 for NW $77,000 LT

This looks like another good spot for (1) ROYAL SHIP because the field is competitive and there should be lots of movement. I'll give him the nod to notch the threepeat. (7) CENTURY GIGALO has been first up in both of the choice's wins and he raced tough in defeat. He can win this if he finds some cover. (6) CUTTIN CLASS and (4) TAHUYA BREW took each other out at the start last week when they hooked wheels. Both rallied will to take shares and they are two more multi-race options in a tough race.

Race 9: F&M NW $31,500 L5 or $175,000 LT

(4) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP took this class on New Year's Eve and she is the one to beat as she seeks the repeat here. (5) SNOW SHARK was game in defeat to the choice last time, and she can be a threat again here. (1) SHOULDABEENATD is on a roll and McNair, who had other options here, sticks with her; price look. (2) SWIFT ALLY didn't win for two years now suddenly she is shooting for a threepeat. She can take a slice vs. tougher tonight.

Race 10: F&M NW $6,000 L5 or $13,000 L9 AE: Pop Up Starters

(6) SHEMARS LADY HAVOC really took off in the Pop Up series once Macdonald climbed into the bike and I'll give her the nod here. (4) LAURAS LOVE is an obvious contender on the class drop but her typical racing style can get her in trouble. I’d be careful not to take too short of a price. (9) TOWN DELINQUENT has had some tough trips at the 'B' tracks recently. She is worth using at a price here. (1) SUNDAY AFTERNOON was close last time she drew inside and she should be part of the exotics tonight. (7) MAJOR LEAGUE N should be the first leader and I see her sticking around to take a slice.
