(3) GODIVA SHADOW GIRL was in very tough, if not impossible spots in her past two starts in Quebec. She fits better here, and she goes for the leading trainer with the leading driver in the bike. There are some things to like here, and I'll give her the nod. (2) DAKOTA SHADOW was sixth vs. better and she should contend here facing what looks like an easier field. She should be the main threat racing from close range. (1) WOODMERE CLARA gets needed post relief tonight and she adds Lasix, and she should improve sharply in this spot; using. (6) SIRI SEELSTER should be good for a small share in this spot.

Race 2: F&M 5YO and younger NW2 or $30,000 LT AE: NW $1,000 in 2022-23

(7) POWDER PLAY was resilient on the lead beating similar here last week and she gets the call to repeat off that game effort. (4) ANGOSTURA HANOVER tried to rush past the choice, but she was kept outside. That she was only beat a length off that tough trip makes her a threat right back. (2) WATCH HER DEWITT closed from Campbellville Road to win the Pop Up series final, the beneficiary of a slowing late pace. Still, she kicked in 27 2/5 and she gets post relief now. She is in the mix. (1) MULLIGAN PHILLY is in with a chance to land in the exotics back in against NW2 tonight.

Race 3: F&M 5YO and younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $45,000 LT AE: 3YO 4YO and 5YO CLM $50,000

(5) SALDANA HANOVER really dug in to get her nose up last week and off that sharp winning effort I'll give her the call to repeat. (4) DUCHENNE took a new life's mark dominating at this level then missed four weeks. She is obviously fast enough but sharpness is the question. I'd demand a price. (3) JM BETONSIX was nailed right on the line by the choice and that was the sixth start in a row in which she finished 2nd or 3rd. I'll use her underneath here. (1) GLENBORO should be closer early starting from the rail tonight; small share predicted.

Race 4: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $40,000 LT - Pick 4

(5) MAE LOSE CONTROL paced an uncovered 27-flat third 1/4 and understandably tired but she still stayed for a small share. She can do here if she gets a slightly better trip. (7) LIBERTY ROYAL rode the choice’s cover and came up just short. She should be a threat right back. (9) SAULSBROOK BOOMER tripped out to beat both of the top two choices. I see her as a fringe player this time starting from a wide post. (8) BORN A REBEL improved last week and she can land in the exotics again here.

Race 5: NW $2,030 L3

(9) TESLA SEELSTER fires back quick after facing a repeat winner in a tougher class and I'll give her the nod despite her drawing widest. (6) MISTER MAGIC draws best, and he might be able to make front this week. That's when he tends to do his best work; using. (5) IMA STANDUP GUY made an aggressive move last week and that didn’t work. I could see him taking a trip this time and he is in with an upset chance. (7) SOUTHWIND CAESER comes off a nice effort, but he is 0 for his last 44 dating back to 10/01/2022. I'll play to beat him here.

Race 6: F&M NW $8,500 L5 or $19,250 L8 AE: NW8 LT - Pick 5

(6) VELVET STINGER was better last week now she drops and starts from the best post; top call. (9) MIST AMBER motored home last week, and she is capable, but she will be at the mercy of pace and trip. Demand a price if you like her. (1) SHOOT THE WHISKEY is typically close at this level and she should be able to find a helmet to follow this time. She is another in with a chance. (4) FREE TO BE ME should be closer early tonight and that gives her a chance to take a share.

Race 7: Horses that have started for a purse of $9,000 or less in 1 of L3 - Pick 4

(9) O NARUTAC PERFETTO is the class of this field and him dropping and popping for a $7K purse last time at Flamboro Downs qualifies him for this condition. He gets top billing despite drawing wide. (6) COOL CLIFFORD raced tough on the rim last time and he gets out of the second tier for this. He should be the main threat. (4) LOWRY made a couple of moves when finishing 3rd last time and he should be good for another share vs. these. (7) FLYING FORMATION can improve in his second start for trainer Budd. Give him a look at a price for the exotics.

Race 8: F&M NW $14,000 L5 or $34,750 L8

(2) NEED TO BREATHE probably needed last week's start when returning from a break and she should be tough now on the class drop. (3) MYSTIFYING gets away from the white-hot Huntress and she is the obvious threat here; using. (5) STYLE FOR A MILE steps up but she is razor-sharp, and she is in with a shot at what should be a square price. (1) SNOW SHARK will probably sit covered up to the land then look for a clear path. She is capable if she can work out a perfect trip, but I prefer to use her underneath.

Race 9: F&M that have started for a purse of $9,000 or less in 1 of L4

(6) THE IDEAL HUNTRESS finds a spot where there appears to be no quick leavers and Macdonald will likely look to blast and last with her; top call. (3) TWIN B TIPSTER gets class and post relief here but she always seems to be trip dependent so I would beware taking a short price on her. (1) MY MOTHER PEARL returns from Flamboro in excellent form and she is in the exotics mix here. (5) GOLDEN LEADER should get a better trip here and that puts her in the exotics mix.

Race 10: NW $1,500 L3

(4) UNCLE SHANK A drops to the bottom conditioned level, and he should be very tough to beat in this spot. (2) PIRATE HANOVER crushed in fast time last time he raced this low. He can be a threat if he stays flat tonight. (7) HAIL CHRISTIAN N qualified well finishing behind top aged mare Prohibition Legal and he should contend for a share here. (6) HESINCONTROL should be able to close for a share in this spot; using underneath. (8) TORONTO failed as the chalk now he faces tougher. He will probably finish on the edges again.
