(6) GODIVA SHADOW GIRL took a measured win in the opening leg of this series, and she faces basically the same field tonight; call to repeat. (3) WATCH HER DEWITT lost position on the turn when it looked like she couldn’t keep up then she re-rallied. Her best effort gives her a chance. (1) SIS paced a sub-56 back 1/2 in that same race and she can be closer here. She should close for a share. (8) MISS DEW WRITE, 3rd in that race after making a bold move, drew worst of the main contenders and I’ll use her underneath.

Race 2: F&M 5YO and younger NW2 or $30,500 LT AE: Grassroots starters in 2023

(3) IRIS SEELSTER ships east coming off a nice try in the Century Casino Filly Pace and she gets top billing here making her first start out of Brethour’s barn. (4) ALABAMA HANNAH is the other shipper in here and her November 10th qualifier stamps her as one of the main contenders. (1) DRAGON TERROR made a nice late move and finished fast, and she is another in with a shot here. (7) MADISON QUEEN fired a 27-flat kicker as the pace accelerated and she should close for a share in this spot.

Race 3: F&M 5YO and younger NW2 or $30,500 LT AE: Grassroots starters in 2023

(3) ANGOSTURA HANOVER was a sharp winner with J Mac in the bike last week and he sticks here; call to repeat. (7) GLENBORO took a trip to Flamboro and scored an easy win over NW3 rivals. She fits here and she will likely be the one to catch. (5) D A TEMPTATION raced well in her first start for Moreau after shipping west and she has license to improve tonight. She is the other one that I’ll use on multi-race tickets. (1) SIRI SEELSTER should take another slice racing close to the front most of the mile.

Race 4: NW $4,000 L5 AE: OPT CLM $20,000 AE: NW $1,850 L3 - Pick 4

(6) DERF HANOVER hasn’t raced this low in many months and this is probably a race he is supposed to win; top call. (7) ALL WRAPPED UP is the other class dropper and he figures to be heard from at this level although keep in mind he tends to be trip dependent. (10) MISTER MAGIC is as game as they make ‘em but winning over the class droppers starting from post 10 is a tall order; using underneath. (1) TUCKERS OUT dropped and popped now he steps back up and a small share is likely this time.

Race 5: HARVEST SERIES Ont. Sired 3YO Fillies NW $30,000 in 2023 as of 9/30/2023 Leg 2

(4) STARLIGHT DANCER left for position, got backed up on the final turn, navigated through traffic then finished willingly. She draws perfectly here, and I’ll call her to upset the obvious favorite (5) HONEY LOVE, who was a comfortable winner in Leg 1. (2) FASHION FORWARD never misses the top three it seems, and she should be part of this Tri. (6) POCAHONTAS DU LAC was a willing 3rd in that same race, and she should be good for another share tonight.

Race 6: NW $15,000 in 2023 AE: NW $2,500 L10 - Pick 5

(9) THAT’S HOOLIGAN ships in from Ottawa in good form and faces some rivals that seem to be off form. I’ll give him a slight nod in a tough race. (6) SO NOT COOL was facing tougher when last seen here and his freshness can be an advantage in this field; using. If there is a spot where (4) JACK FIRE is going to wake up this is probably it. He is the third one that I’ll use on multi-race tickets. (5) CLASSIC MAGIC is capable of better, and she may show it in this spot. She is another in with a shot in here.

Race 7: F&M NW $4,550 L5 or $12,750 L10 AE: OPT CLM $20,000

(5) BEYOND THE SEA got a needed tightener at Flamboro last weekend and she had no chance of passing them all when the final 1/4 was paced in 28-flat. She should be ready to fire a big one now; top call. (4) BETTER B DONNA N drops for this third start back and she should go much better against these mares. She may look to lead from the outset. (8) CHELSIS CHOICE drops, and she should get a more aggressive steer in this spot. She is worth using considering her 15 to 1 morning line quote. (3) SUNSHINE SALLY faces easier and gets Roy in the bike. She is another possibility for multi-race tickets.

Race 8: F&M NW $14,500 L5 or $30,600 L8 or NW6 LT AE: OPT CLM $65,000 - Pick 4

(3) STYLE FOR A MILE was airborne late in last week’s mile but the leader was sprinting just as hard, and she couldn’t quite get up. A similar effort gives her a big shot tonight. (6) WESTERN WISH jogged at this level two starts back and she will likely be the one to catch here starting from the best post. (9) MOMENTARY CONTROL missed four weeks then took a new life’s mark. Her excellent form is hard to ignore, and she is in with a chance despite drawing widest. (4) MS QUICK SAND is one that typically sits and closes, and she is good to use on the bottom of the exotics.

Race 9: FILLIES AND MARES PREFERRED Posts #1-#3 drawn, posts #4-#7 drawn

(7) PROHIBITION LEGAL’s return race was very good now she gets Roy in the bike, so a more aggressive steer is very likely. She will be a single for me in the late multis. (4) SO MUCH MORE looked like her best self last week fighting off the two Gallucci mares late. She is always a threat when she is at the top of her game. (6) SILVER LABEL rode perfect cover but she couldn’t capitalize last week. I’ll use her underneath tonight. (3) GOUDAWON couldn’t be any sharper, but she steps into the deep end here; small share predicted.

Race 10: NW $15,000 in 2023 AE: NW $2,500 L10

(6) EZRA has been in against much tougher racing in the U.S. He gets the top driver and the best post, and he fits well here; top call. (8) BUCK DANCER is another that fits here, and he will likely get sent forward by Jamieson leaving the gate. He is the other one that I’ll use on late multi-race tickets. (9) SOUTHWIND CAESER, 2nd at this level last week, can show speed here and stick around for a slice. (1) SHES GOT PIZAZZ should rally late to land in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 11: F&M NW $8,750 L5 AE: 3YO OPT CLM $50,000

(7) DUCHENNE raced well last week but she was overtaken late by a razor-sharp rival that was taking a new life’s mark. She gets top billing here. (9) NEED TO BREATHE should be the one to catch and she is dangerous on the class drop in this spot. (5) IN THE MOOD was a winner last time she raced this low. She is worth a price look for the multis. (1) HORIZONTAL was first up against a sharp Velvet Stinger and that trip wasn’t going to work out. She is in the exotics mix here. (2) CHIEFS DREAM GIRL should be good for a small slice tonight.
