Race 1: NW $15,000 in 2023 **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
Tough race to kick off the Pick 5. (2) TANGLEWILD ROAD faced much tougher after showing some grit winning against maidens two starts back and I’ll give her the nod on the class drop here. (6) TUCKERS OUT is another facing much easier and he should improve sharply in this spot; using. (5) ANGEL OF MY DREAMS raced better for Macdonald, and these are the types of races he wins regularly by out driving his opponents. She is another to consider for the Pick 4. (1) HESOHOT HANOVER adds Lasix after a decent try. I think he closes for a share in this spot.

Race 2: HARVEST SERIES Ont. Sired 3YO Fillies NW $30,000 in 2023 as of 9/30/2023 Leg 1
(3) GODIVA SHADOW GIRL shipped in, went to Moreau, took all the action then crushed in a new life’s mark; call to repeat. (7) WATCH HER DEWITT made a huge late move to win the Popup series then raced okay vs. some tough fillies. She is in with a decent chance here. (5) SIS raced decently in the Popup series. She should be in the mix here. (10) STARLIGHT DANCER will likely blast for the front again and she can stick around for a share vs. these.

Race 3: 5YO and younger NW1 or $7,500 LT
(10) HANGOVER HILL hinted in his debut then jogged and he gets McNair now. He gets the call to repeat despite drawing widest; top call. (8) CAPTAINS PICK raced well for the second straight start, but he was no match for the choice. He can be an Exacta factor again. (3) RULE THE WEST was requalified by the leading driver and he chooses him here over another. That makes him worth a look. (9) A CLASS YANKEE comes off a good try from this post and he should be in the exotics mix again.
Race 4: HARVEST SERIES Ont. Sired 3YO Fillies NW $30,000 in 2023 as of 9/30/2023 Leg 1 - Pick 4
(1) POCAHONTAS DU LAC has improved steadily since joining the Maguire barn five starts back and she will likely be an overly in here stepping out of Flamboro claiming races; price play. (2) HONEY LOVE gets J Mac back and he teamed her to a nice maiden win here two starts back. She is probably the one to beat. (4) WARRAWEE YOKO shows a 1:52 4/5 win in September and she will contend here if she is over her recent sickness. (8) PREMIER DELIGHT fits well here considering she won a NW3 race two starts back. She will be a threat if she stays flat this time.
Race 5: F&M 5YO and younger NW2 or $30,000 LT
(6) SIRI SEELSTER, 2nd to a big chalk last week that no one was beating, is likely sitting on a win here’ top call. (5) D A TEMPTATION ships in and goes for the leading trainer and driver and that has been a recipe for success more often than not; using. (9) MADISON QUEEN ships north in solid form but I prefer to use her underneath starting from a wide post. (1) DRAGON TERROR can likely kick late for a small slice in this spot.
Race 6: F&M NW $8,200 L5 AE: NW 8 LT - Pick 5
(1) HORIZONTAL is a nice sophomore filly that seems to fit well here facing some elders. I’ll give her the nod. (8) VELVET STINGER had no apparent excuse last week, but she may perform better racing off a helmet. She is useable again. (4) SNOW SHARK drops but she has always seemed to be trip dependent. I wouldn’t take a short price here. (6) MS QUICK SAND will likely sit another trip racing near the front and land in the exotics.
Race 7: NW $5,850 L5 AE: OPT CLM $20,000
(7) SOUTHWIND ONCORE flew home last time now he draws better, and he can lay closer to the front, top call. (6) MISTER MAGIC got hammered at the windows then jogged last week. When he is on his game, he is capable of stepping up in class and doubling up; using. Classy (1) O NARUTAC PERFETTO should get a better trip tonight and that gives him a shot. (4) IMA STANDUP GUY can sneak into the Super if he stays flat tonight.
Race 8: F&M NW $14,500 L5 or $22,750 L8 AE: NW $65,000 in 2023 - Pick 4
(4) GOUDAWON just jogged vs. similar, and she likely takes another here starting from a good post. (9) SHES GOT IT ALL steps up off a win, but I could see Macdonald getting her another pocket trip here and that makes her a threat. (5) SAULSBROOK OLYMPIA regularly produces late speed around 27-flat and that makes her a contender in this spot for at least a share. (3) STYLE FOR A MILE likely sits a trip and lands in the bottom of the exotics tonight.
Race 9: FILLIES and MARES PREFFERED
Stablemates (8) SILVER LABEL and (3) PROHIBITION LEGAL tower over these mares. I’m inclined to play whichever offers the better price when the gate starts to roll. (2) HUNTRESS has been flawless since shipping north, but she steps into the deep end here. I’ll use her underneath. They don’t come much gamer than (6) SO MUCH MORE, and she is always in the hunt, but she might be a bit overmatched here.

Race 10: F&M 5YO and younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $45,000 AE: 3YO 4YO and 5YO CLM $50,000
(3) FATED FIRE has been racing decently and the addition of Lasix here may put her over the top vs. this group; call to upset. (6) DUCHENNE comes off two blowout wins at this level, and she might prove tough to beat again here; using. (2) MOMENTARY CONTROL has already won at this level, and she raced great in the Gold Superfinal. I wonder if the stale date makes her a bit vulnerable here. Your call. (9) JM BETONSIX is in the mix every week and she could add some value to the Tri or Super here starting from the widest post.
Race 11: F&M NW $4,850 L5 AE: OPT CLM $20,000
(3) BEACH MOMENT looks good to score here on the class drop and she should get an aggressive Drury steer. (2) THE IDEAL HUNTRESS got the job done vs. some of tonight's rivals last week and she looks like the main threat here. She may end up being a pocket rocket in the lane; using. (9) JKS ROLLIN BABY is the other class dropper in here and it's hard to leave her out when you consider the multi-level drop that she is taking tonight. (5) MY MOTHER PEARL came close to pulling off the upset last week. I see her taking a stalking approach tonight and closing for a share. (8) GOLDEN LEADER will likely sit a trip near the front and take another share in this spot.
