But looking at this race, wouldn’t the horse that beat him that night be a heavy chalk? I’ll side with him in a race where there seems like few other viable options. (6) GAMING QUEEN finished behind the choice then came back to finish 3rd behind a blowout winner. She seems most likely to complete the Exacta, (8) MEGA GENEROUS qualified okay for Team Henry and this $25K London buy can hit the board in this debut. (5) HORSE TRADIN couldn’t keep up with the dominant winner last time, but he was only three lengths out of second at the wire. He will likely show speed and stay for a share here. (7) THE BURKETONRANGER switched to Budd’s barn and improved immediately, setting solid fractions on the engine, and staying for 2nd. He should be the main danger here; using. Debutant (8) MOOD CONTROL is a full brother to 1:51 1/5 performer Price Control. His two qualifiers are okay, and he gets Macdonald in the bike. He can take a share at first asking. (4) UWAITILLGOFIRST raced better last week, and he can be part of the exotics again. Race 8: NW 2 (FM 3) RACES OR $20,000 (OS $32,250) LIFETIME (9) NEVERLOSE FELIX crushed maidens and this isn’t the toughest NW2 field; call to repeat. (4) LOOKS LIKE AMUSCLE was challenging the winner when he got bumpy gaited then he broke nearing the wire and squandered 2nd place. He should be the main threat here if he behaves; using. (3) ROYAL BELUGA raced better last week, and he had to swing wide on the final turn to avoid a pair that hooked wheels then raced greenly through the stretch. I could see him upsetting here if he gets put into the race earlier. (6) WHEELIN MY BENTLEY showed little as the chalk when over bet last week. He is capable of better, and he can be part of the exotics starting from the best post. Nod goes to the former who beat the choice on 12/28, has a recency edge and gets McClure back tonight. Veteran (2) SO MUCH MORE produced a big effort to win last week, and she seems to always come up big when she gets counted out. She could offer some value here. (5) CAVIAR N CRACKERS is sharp, and she should close for a spot in the exotics. Race 10: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $37,500) LIFETIME (5) ABSOLUTION’s 27-flat kicker was only good enough for 5th in the Niagara series.
