Race 1: Pop Up Series: Ontario sired 3YO fillies NW $20,000 in 2023 **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(1) ST LADS DARK ANGEL ships in from Tioga in decent form and gets the leading driver in a spot where she should find to her liking, top call. (10) STARLIGHT DANCER faces easier but there is a lot going on with her: she has missed a month, is off Lasix and draws worst. I wouldn't take a short price here, but she is capable if she can produce something close to her best effort. (9) WATCH HER DEWITT is another that fits well here, and she should get an aggressive steer for owner/driver Roy; using. (4) SIS should be good for a slice in this spot.

Race 2: 2YO fillies NW1 or $5,000 LT
(1) ACEFORTYFOUR BELLA was in a tough spot trying to race first up into a 55 2/5 back 1/2 and she kept coming. She might be sitting on a win now in this third start. (7) PEELER fires sub-27 kickers in her last two vs. Grassroots company and she should improve sharply in this spot. She would be no surprise here. (3) PAM finished ahead of the choice but she stole a 59 1/5 opening 1/2 and couldn’t seal the deal. Your call at a probable short price. (5) CENTURY KALIMBA drops out of a Gold race but she has had some chances at this level. I'll use her underneath.

Race 3: F&M NW $8,000 L5 AE: NW7 LT or NW $27,500 in 2023
(2) POWERED BY MACH raced well at this level last week but she couldn't hold off razor sharp Chiefs Dream Girl. She is the one to beat in here. (4) TWIST LITTLE GIRL N is hot right now and her grinding first up win last week was impressive. She is capable of notching the threepeat here because she is so sharp right now; using. Shipper (3) AWESOME HILL seems like a good fit at this level, but she has missed close to a month. I'll tab her for next week. (6) MS QUICK SAND should be in the exotics mix again racing from close range.
Race 4: NW $15,000 in 2023 - Pick 4
(7) MY HOLEY MOLEY flew home last week but the winner (8) STORMONT MOLLY got the jump on her. I can see this race coming down to these two in deep stretch again. (5) STORMONT MABEL qualified fast enough to beat these, and she will have a decent chance if she gets sent forward early because there doesn't appear to be many leavers in here; using. (4) MIKE THE KNIGHT should get a better trip tonight and he is in the exotics mix.
Race 5: F&M that have started for a purse of $9,000 or less in 1 of L4 AE: NW $800 L3
(3) MOMENTARILY looked like a sure winner at the 1/8th pole last week then she slowed abruptly to a point that might suggest she tied up. She fires back in a week which indicates that she is sound. I'll stick with her. (1) TWIN B TIPSTER fits well here, and she will probably get a decent trip starting from the rail; using. (6) TWIN B BETTY is getting closer, and Roy chose her over the top pick. She is another in with a shot here. (10) GOUDAWON fits okay in this class, but I prefer to use her underneath starting from the 10-hole.
Race 6: 2YO colts and geldings NW1 or $5,100 LT - Pick 5
(6) TROPHY TAKER draws best after kicking in 26 3/5 in his debut and he should prove tough to beat if he gets put into the race earlier. (4) ASTARWASBORN gets to face maidens after racing in the Grassroots all summer and he figures to improve tonight; Exacta factor. (2) MAGICAL AOINE qualified well for Team Beaton, and he should be in the exotics mix. (3) BREEZY CORNER is a good one to use on the bottom of the Tri and Super.
Race 7: 2YO and 3YO fillies NW2 or $15,000 LT
(6) IDYLLIC DELIGHT was a winner last time she raced outside the Grassroots, and she has a good chance here despite facing some three-year-olds. (9) GOING YARD closed some ground in a fast kicker and she could do here if she is close enough at the 3/4 pole; using. (3) WHERES MY PHONE comes off a good effort at Flamboro and picks up McNair now. Her good tactical speed makes her a threat. (1) BETH is unlikely to get the same perfect trip she got last week starting from the rail tonight; using underneath.
Race 8: Pop Up Series: Ontario sired 3YO colts and geldings NW $20,000 in 2023 Leg 1 - Pick 4
(4) CHEDDAR DUHARAS raced great first up last week here, and he has a decent chance in the opening leg of this Popup series; top call. (5) TOUR CHAMPION showed some talent in the spring, but he also had gait issues. He can be a threat here if he behaves. (8) TF ROCKETMAN will likely get sent forward leaving the gate this week and he is another in with a chance here in a race with no standout. (1) RELENTLESS brings some great form in from the 'B' tracks. He can be part of the Tri or Super.
Race 9: Horses that have started for a purse of $9,000 or less in 1 of L3
(9) SWAN DIEGO moves into Auciello's barn and gets McNair coming off a nice win at Hoosier Park and he will be tough in here if he stays flat. (5) CLEVELAND MASSIMO has a big late kick on his best day, and he gets a positive driver change to Sorrie tonight; price look. This should be an easier spot for (7) EDEN ONTHEHILL and he can be a threat racing from close range. (2) THE LIONKING AS beat easier at Flamboro. I see him taking a slice against these.

Race 10: Pop Up Series: Ontario sired 3YO colts and geldings NW $20,000 in 2023
(1) THE MOMENT AROSE is in much easier after taking a check in the Grassroots final despite being parked out for most of the mile. This is a field that he should handle. (7) SCRIBBLERS paced his fastest winning mile in his qualifier on 9/29 and he adds Lasix tonight. He could add some value to the Exacta. (3) URIEL BLUE CHIP was out a long way uncovered and he stayed game as the pace accelerated. His price drops here but he can take another share. (9) UGOTTALOVEBLUECHIP is in good form, but these are tougher. A slice is probably his ceiling starting from the widest post.
Race 11: F&M 5YO and younger NW2 or $30,000 LT
(1) SALDANA HANOVER took all the money at the windows despite having missed 3 1/2 weeks and she converted with ease. She gets the call to repeat facing similar. (7) POWDER PLAY found room late in that mile, but the winner already had momentum and was rolling past in the middle of the track. I could see her turning the tables tonight; using. (5) PREMIER DELIGHT was the first leader, then shuffled back to 4th after two leadership changes, then she was blocked for the entire stretch run with pace. She is another in with a shot here. (3) ALL OF ME is another that took a shuffle that is in with a chance in a race that has a few options. (6) FATED FIRE draws better, and she should find her way into the exotics.
