Race 1: FILLIES & MARES, 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $9,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES.
(8) STOMPA adds Lasix after an even third place finish at Western Fair. Plante drove her well in her last start at Mohawk Park. I think she is forwardly placed off the car and could add a little bit of value to kick off the card. (4) MCMAYBEL got a perfect tightener type mile in her first career start to get her acclimated to the track and racing in general. I expect her to take a step forward tonight in start number two. (3) KOBRA KATE still has the 0-for hanging over her head, but she continues to race well at this level and put herself in contention.

Race 2: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $37,500) LIFETIME.
(5) PARKAVENUEJANET faces a weaker group of fillies tonight when compared to her last few starts. She has come up short when on the lead as of late, but should have a better opportunity to set rated fractions that gives her enough in the late stages. (2) STYLISH STELLA was a filly I took a shot with last week, and I thought she raced well after being fired out to the lead. If she works out a stalking trip, she could be dangerous. (3) HIGHLAND DELIGHT was a solid third in her latest after making a first over move. If she can sustain that move, she can get a piece.
Race 3: FILLIES & MARES NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $39,000) LIFETIME. AE: NW $4,800 LAST 4 STARTS.
(6) SUPERGIRL MOLLY was a hard charging second last week after flipping off cover. She was making a menacing move down the center of the track, but just came up short. She should be able to get away closer when starting away from the rail. (1) STOVID got an aggressive steer three starts ago and went on to win in a new lifetime mark. Her last two tries were against much tougher horses. If she can get away from the rail in decent order, I like her chances. (8) NIGHTINGALE didn’t get her kind of trip last week. She had to make two moves, and was still battling late. She could be used early and get a piece.
Race 4: FILLIES & MARES, 2 & 3 YEAR OLDS NW $15,000 (ON SIRED $18,750) LIFETIME. AE: 3 YR OLDS NW $100 LAST 4 STARTS. AE: NW $12,500 IN 2025.
(6) SHOWMETHEMONEY DEO came up short in her last two efforts, but she has excuses in my opinion. The gate speed is there, and you’ll get an inflated price with McNair choosing the ML favorite. I’ll take a shot. (1) WHOA BLACK BETTY was trying to work off cover behind last week’s winner in Easy Station, but that rival was moving better than her. She kind of just hung out there until the final eighth, which does concern me slightly. I think others could get a jump on her. (8) LADY GAMBLER has shown more since adding Lasix. She could be an early pace presence and can hang on for a piece.
Race 5: FILLIES & MARES, CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $30,000 (OS $37,500) LIFETIME. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. AE: 4 YR OLDS N/A $1,355 P/S IN 2024-25.
(2) ITLL BE ALRIGHT was a sharp second after sitting a stalking trip in her latest. It was a strong move forward in her second start on Lasix. I could see her tripping out tonight. (8) LADY WICKED is another who has stepped forward since adding Lasix. These horses can be more volatile at times, which means a higher chance of this race falling apart. She is a mare who can take advantage of that and add big value. (9) ONEFORMYBABY has been the class of this class for the entire month, but draws even wider this week and could be pressured more than she wants to be in the early stages. I’ll use her underneath.
Race 6: FILLIES & MARES NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $39,000) LIFETIME. AE: NW $4,800 LAST 4 STARTS.
(8) VALIDUS wasn’t able to get into contention after taking back to nearly last. She posted a strong win two starts ago when forwardly placed. I’ll look for her to get put into the race tonight. (1) MISS UNIVERSE is 1-for-1 since adding Lasix and has hit the board in seven of 10 starts this year. Look for her to sit close and be challenging late. (4) TH MONICA should be another early pace presence. She hasn’t gotten the best of trips lately, but has the ability to get the job done.
Race 7: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 (FM 3) RACES OR $20,000 (OS $30,750) LIFETIME.
(4) BANK ON LUCAS got a key driver change last week and cruised to a win after sitting a perfect trip. McNair is right back in the bike and will look to guide him to a repeat win. (3) ULTRA MYLES tends to have some decent staying power when sitting up close. It’s only a matter of time before he gets the job done again, you would think. (5) FLORIDA GUY tried much different tactics last week and was used in the early parts of the mile. Despite sitting a perfect trip, he still couldn’t get by for the win. His versatility makes him an obvious use on tickets.
Race 8: HORSES & GELDINGS STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $10,000 OR LESS IN LAST 3 STARTS.
(5) PREMIER FIRST STAR was a “best of the rest” second behind Crunch Hanover who was long gone. His best chance in my opinion is if he sits a stalking trip and can launch off a helmet. (8) WILDRIVERBUMBLEBEE got his first win of the year last week after a front end trip. McNair should have him on the move in the early stages. (7) JJ TOMMY is another potential early pace presence, which is a trip that has netted him good results in the last month. He could be forgotten about in this spot.

Race 9: FILLIES & MARES, NW $12,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $33,750 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $70,000. AE: NW $110,000 LIFETIME.
(4) SO MUCH MORE was a solid third in last week’s Open on Breeders Crown weekend. She is in good enough form right now to get the job done. (3) ASWEETBEACHHERE was overmatched in the Breeders Crown Final, but posted two strong efforts prior to that, including a win at this level. Look for her to sit close. (5) ANGOSTURA HANOVER has hung around these upper levels nearly all season, but hasn’t strung together efforts that make you confident in her as a top pick. I’ll use her underneath again tonight.
Race 10: FILLIES & MARES, NW $6,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $12,000 LAST 8 STARTS (W/O $15,000 LAST 8 STARTS N/E) AE: OPT. CLM. $30,000. AE: N/A $2,450 P/S IN 2024-25.
(1) MS QUICK SAND finds a spot where she should get a confidence booster. She is descending down the class ladder, but has the speed to come up with a big effort tonight. (4) ROCKNROLL ANNIE was hammered at the windows and in the will pays, and went on to absolutely destroy her rivals when shipping in from Ohio. I expect her to get away in good order again. (3) CHARMBO STORMY loves to grind into contention, and should be another mare who is challenging at the top of the stretch.
