Meet Stats: 282- 897 / $1639.10 (-$154.90) Best Bets: 45 - 79 / $147.20 (-$11.80) Spot Plays: 13 - 81 / $108.50 (-$53.50) Best Bet: MAJOR LEAGUE N (10TH) Spot Play: ALEXUS EH (3RD) Early Pick 5: 1,10/5,10/2,4,5/1,4,8,10/4,7,8 = $28.80 Late Pick 5: 3,4,7/3/1/3,5,7,8/6 = $2.40 Early Pick 4: 1,4,8,10/4,7,8/3,4,7/3 = $36 Late Pick 4: 1/3,5,7,8/6/4 = $4   Race 1: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000) **GTD $100,000 Pick 5** (1) HP STARLETTE gets both post and class relief here and I expect that Roy will have her moving early; top call in the opener. (10) TYMAL RIGGS gets Henry back for a second drive after racing decently last week and he could get a good trip following the choice. He's the other one that I'll use in this leg of the Pick 5. (4) MAGIC WANDA will be closer early here moving off post 9 to the middle of the gate and she should take a share. (6) FORTUNE TELLIN LADY is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics coming off a nice effort in Kentucky. Race 2: F&M NW $3,100 L5 or $7,000 L10 (10) WINDSONGMAGNIFIQUE faces considerably easier here at the bottom conditioned level and she will be tough to beat if she works out a reasonable trip after starting from the second tier. (5) TAKEYOURBREATHAWAY was motoring late last week, she just ran out of racetrack. She does her best work at this class level and she should be right there again. (8) TAJMEALLOVER didn’t show much at Flamboro the other night but last time she raced at this level she finished 2nd, timed in 1:52 1/5 at odds of 17 to 1; consider for the exotics. (3) DEB is likely to be pointed to the front again and she should stick around for a share. Race 3: NW $5,000 L5 or $10,000 L10 (5) ALEXUS EH produced her fastest final 1/4 (by a full second) of 2020 in her second start for Auciello and that led to an easy win and she gets the call to repeat despite moving up one level. (2) KNIGHT ANGEL was right there at this level three starts back and if he stays flat, he should contend in this spot. (4) YOUR STILL UP makes his second start out of the Barrington barn and he is another coming off a break that can be dangerous if he stays trotting. (3) WHAT A RUSH gets needed post relief and he should be closing for a share here. Race 4: F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,000 LT - Pick 4 (1) DOCS HARMONY gets to drop one level after making a big late charge against NW3 and she should be tough here. (10) BETTIMONTHERIVER got used up early after leaving from the widest post and she can get a much better trip here following the choice; using. (8) NICE KITTY HANOVER took advantage of a swift early pace last time and she impressively sailed by late. She obviously isn't out of this. (4) MARETRAFFICCONTROL has raced well in two straight for Saftic. I prefer to use her underneath in this spot. Race 5: F&M 5YO and Younger NW3 or $53,000 This is a tough race that demands deep multi-race coverage. (4) SMILING DIALING appears to have recaptured her best form and she should get a better start here from an improved post; slight nod. (7) OFF THE PRESS produced a nice closing kick when she dropped out of the Golds and she should be a factor here. (8) SO DELIGHTFUL should appreciate the easier company here and she is another possibility. (9) NECTAR has a good record and she is capable of a strong effort when she stays flat; price look. Race 6: CLAIMING HANDICAP $15,000 to $20,000 - Pick 5 In another tough race, I'll take a swing for the fences with (7) CORTEZ THE KILLER who produced a nice wide rally in his first start racing off the Switzer claim. (3) LORIS ROCK STAR goes for a barn noted for moving them up off the claim and his last two starts showed that his form is peaking; using. (4) ARCANE SEELSTER drops and if he is going to wake up with an improved effort it will likely be here. (6) OAKROACK ELDORADO is another contender racing off the claim in a race that most likely will come down to trip. Race 7: CLAIMING HANDICAP $12,000 to $15,000 (3) MONTALBANO BI races for Barrington off the claim just when he appears to have reached peak form and a big effort is expected here. (5) HILL OF A COLT's race at this claiming level two starts back when making his first start since December 2019 was decent and he should be sharp enough now to produce a better effort; using. (1) FLUFF ME UP is hard to leave out shooting for tree straight wins for a barn that has been doing well the entire meet. (8) TRIX AND STONES should wake up with a better effort racing for a tag, but from out there I prefer to use him underneath. Race 8: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 - Pick 4 (1) IDEAL JET hasn't raced at this bottom conditioned level since last November and Zeron will no doubt look to bottom out the field which is overmatched on paper. He's a multi-race single for me. (4) FANCOURT is classy enough to give the choice a race and Gallucci can send one ready coming off a break. He is the logical alternative. (10) RACEMUP could get a good trip following the choice; consider for Tri and Super bets. (9) MAJOR HILL fits this class well but from the widest post I can only use him on the bottom in this spot. Race 9: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 (5) ST JAMES GATE is likely to get a more aggressive steer from Young racing at the lowest conditioned level facing a field he should beat. (7) CRUSING IN STYLE is capable of much better and I am inclined to toss his last race where something likely went amiss; using. (3) FITZGIBBONS and (8) GLOIRE DREAM are both worth a look for the exotics on the barn changes alone. Race 10: F&M NW $8,000 L5 or $17,600 L10 AE: OPT CLM $18,000 (6) MAJOR LEAGUE N stands out here and Hensley will surely be looking to send her down the road; top call. (7) COUSIN MARY also drops but not as far as the choice. This mare will likely leave for position and she is an Exacta factor. (3) BETTOR TRIX N should get a better trip here leaving from the inside and she's worth a look for the exotics at a price. (9) SYLPH HANOVER is capable at this level but the widest post likely limits her to a smaller share this time. Race 11: F&M NW $5,000 L5 or $12,500 L9 (4) BETTER BE DONNA N drops again and she will be tough to overhaul in this spot in which she is likely to control the race on the engine. (10) FIREBBY A returns from Flamboro and she has some appeal for the exotics in this spot. (9) MISS ROCKADALI never takes back and she could blast to the front then sit a nice pocket trip following the choice here; using underneath. (6) LYONS HEDGEABET should be passing mares late again to land in the High-5. (2) TWIN B TIPSTER is stuck on 0 wins this year but she is a good one to use underneath.
