(8) IM HUNGRY, the homebred 1/2-sister to 2022 Meadowlands Pace winner Beach Glass, probably has more speed than you see on her card and she gets the call to win at first asking here. (7) BROOKDALE MIKI will rightfully take a lot of action tonight based on her most recent start where she was flying late. She's hard to leave off early Pick 5 tickets. (5) ALLSTAR CHEDDAR gets a better post to work from tonight and she should be able to lay close enough to take a share. (10) BETTER SUNSET likely takes another small slice starting from the widest post tonight.

Race 2: BREEDERS CROWN ELIMINATION 2YO COLT TROT

(9) WINNERS BET was going to be no worse than 2nd in the Mohawk Million here two starts back if he didn't blow up while making a wide move on the last turn. I expect an aggressive steer from Dunn here. Appropriately-named (7) CROWN arrives in good order for a top trotting barn and he is worth a long look here. (4) GATES HANOVER has the fastest mark in here and his strong tactical speed should play well at this track; using. Grand Circuit winner (5) GAINES HANOVER had a useful tightener vs. elders on 10/7 here. Give him a look for the exotics.

Race 3: BREEDERS CROWN ELIMINATION 2YO FILLY PACE

(4) SYLVIA HANOVER gets her biggest test to date here, but she has been sensational at this track and I think she passes it. She gets the nod. (7) MCSEASIDE is coming into this elimination race as sharp as a tack. She's the one to fear. Lightly-raced (5) LIGHT AND TIGHT is improving at the right time and she is worth a look at a price here. (2) HUNGRY FOR LOVE likely sets the early pace and closes for a share.

Race 4: BREEDERS CROWN ELIMINATION 2YO COLT TROT - Pick 4

(2) OH WELL dominated here in the Mohawk Million and he is much the best in paper. I suppose you could make a case to beat him based on the stale date but I'll trust that Melander has him ready. (8) INTERNATIONAL MAN was probably best in the Wellwood here but he provided a perfect trip for his stablemate who picked him off at the wire. He should be an Exacta factor here. (9) CELEBRITY BAMBINO got a good tightener in for this and he can get a piece at a price from the widest post. (6) KIERKEGAARD K should get a good trip racing near the front and land in the Super.

Race 5: BREEDERS CROWN ELIMINATION 2YO FILLY TROT

(5) SPECIAL WAY comes in riding a five-race win streak and she will take beating here. $400,000 yearling (7) BLONDE BOMBSHELL wasn't unveiled until October 7th and she couldn't have looked much better winning going away. She will need to be faster here, but she clearly has huge upside. (3) WALNER PAYTON couldn't beat the choice in any of those five wins but she won well on 10/8 and she will be heard from here. (4) SILLY ME HANOVER trotted a big mile to finish 2nd to colts in the Mohawk Million when last seen here and she should be in the exotics mix.

Race 6: BREEDERS CROWN ELIMINATION 2YO FILLY PACE - Pick 5

(5) SAVETHELASTDANCE was a runaway last week and she inevitably came back to the field. Her price goes up now and I'll take a shot with her expecting a sit-and-rally type of trip. (6) CHARLESTON has done nothing wrong to date and she is the obvious threat. (8) STRONG POISON ships in sharp for Burke/Gingras and she has shown versatility and high speed. She is hard to toss. (7) BELLISIMA HANOVER shows three good Grand Circuit efforts at this track. Price look for the exotics.

Race 7: BREEDERS CROWN ELIMINATION 2YO COLT PACE

(6) CONFEDERATE comes into this race on a roll and he gets top call drawing the best post here. (10) SAVE AMERICA, 2nd in the Metro here in late September and he figures to be the main threat but he is no lock here leaving from post 10. (1) LYONS SURFING is fast enough to contend here and he comes in fresh having taken a short break since winning at the Red Mile. He is in the exotics mix. Lightly-raced (7) AMMO comes in off a nice effort where he rallied into big fractions. He can land in the Super.

Race 8: F&M 5YO and Younger NW3 or $40,000 LT AE: 3YO and 4YO to be claimed for $50,000

(4) RAPTORS WON is razor-sharp and she is well-spotted to take another win here. (9) INTOTHEMYSTICMOON is another in great form and her excellent tactical speed gets her in position to find great trips. She is a big threat to notch a threepeat. (7) GOT SEXY SCARS is developing seconditis it seems. She will be there again, but I'll use her underneath. (3) GIRL SCOUT COOKIE made a nice late move last week. She should be in the mix again tonight.

Race 9: BREEDERS CROWN ELIMINATION 2YO COLT PACE - Pick 4

(9) COMBUSTION comes to the Breeders Crown peaking and I'll give him the nod over Metro Pace winner (10) STOCKADE SEELSTER here. The latter drew worst but he has done little wrong but he may offer no value here from the 10-hole. (6) HANDLELIKEAPORSCHE is another fast colt in top form that is in with a shot here. His good gate speed should get him in position to pounce late in the mile. (7) CANNIBAL hasn't missed the board and it's hard to toss a Takter trainee in these races.

Race 10: F&M NW $7,800 or $13,600 L8 AE: 3YO who are NW 6LT

(3) COZ IM SPECIAL was bet like she couldn't lose last week but she got a horrendous trip which decided her fate. She is a clear top pick here and I'm hoping here price is better. (2) JUST DAISY drops and she figures to be the main threat racing from close range. (7) CASIMIR SWAMP GIRL was buried in the pocket for the entire stretch drive last week and she finished with pace that she couldn’t use. She can contend at a big price here. (10) DEWITT FOR JOSIE is in easier here but drawing worst likely dooms her to a small share.

Race 11: F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $23,000 LT AE: NW $1,000 L6

(8) IVORY HANOVER paced a good mile from the 10-hole last week now she gets a better post here; slight nod in a tough race. (2) UNIQUE ERA flew late in that mile to beat the choice for 2nd and she is in with a shot herewith McNair retaining the drive. (4) BEYOND THE SEA was out forever and she still produced a sub :28 kicker. She is another to consider for the late Pick 4. (1) SUNSHINE SALLY will likely sit a trip and rally for a small share.

Race 12: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $20,000 LT

(3) STONE CARVER drops and gets Miller and he gets top billing here. (2) TANGO SEELSTER has a strong record this year and he comes off a strong effort. He is in with a good chance against these. (4) BOOTLEGGER CHARLIE comes off a solid effort and he is in the exotics mix here. (7) NOBLE INTENTIONS jogged now he moves up. I think he sits and rallies for a share here. (10) SIP OF BOURBON fits okay here. He can land in the bottom of the High-5 tonight.
