Race 1: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 3YO FILLIES **GTD $100,000 Pick 5**

(5) LYONS TILT HANOVER tuned up perfectly for this and shows a similar form pattern to when she took the fastest mark of any in this field in a Grassroots race on August 24th; top call. (2) LANDRY SEELSTER also had a useful tightener racing vs. elders in the top class at Flamboro and she has been a very good Grassroots performer all season; using. (6) COQUI COQUI shows a win and a second in her past two Grassroots starts and Henry retains the drive which should be a plus; upset chance. (9) KAT would likely be rated higher had she drawn better. From out there I'll use her underneath.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 3YO FILLIES

(6) SONADORO DEO is the sharpest mare in here and she draws the best post. She should be tough. (9) YEN is coming around at the right time and her last effort when parked most of the way was excellent. She could provide some Pick 5 value here from post 9. (8) MOANA brings it every week and while she couldn't catch the choice last week, she was game right to the wire. She is in the mix again. (10) NOBLESSE DUHARAS is in the Super every week it seems and she will be a good price here; using on the bottom.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(3) MIKEY MASS is red hot and if he is within five lengths at the head of the lane he will be hard to hold off. (6) RIPPED AND READY was solid in defeat to the choice and he should be right there again tonight. (4) KENOGAMI COCO is on a roll, but he will need to find more speed to topple the choice. I'll use him underneath in this spot. (1) TYMAL RIGGS had plenty of trot to offer once free in the lane last week. He has upset possibilities here.

Race 4: F&M NW $5,500 L5 or $10,000 L10 - Pick 4

(4) BETTOR TRIX N drops to a level where she should move up sharply and I'll give her a slight nod here. (1) VILLAGE JOULES finished just behind the choice and she has a similar profile; using. (9) BACK IN THE GAME raced tough on the rim last week and she is in with a shot if she gets put into the race from out there. (10) TWIN B TIPSTER should use her good closing kick to take another slice here.

Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(4) YS MATHIS is capable of a big mile in the Grassroots division and his last race from the 7-hole at Flamboro wasn't bad, considering. He draws better and gets Filion back here; call to upset. (7) MAYHEM HANOVER dominated when he dropped to this level last time and he is the obvious one to beat at a short price. (6) DELIGHTFUL TERROR showed little at Flamboro but his previous effort at this track stamps him as a contender; using. (10) DAY DELIGHT couldn't go with an older horse that was winning his 11th win in as many starts last week and he could provide some value to the Tri or Super here.

Race 6: F&M NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 - Pick 5

(8) JUST MY SHADOW was a sharp 2nd to a tough mare last time she raced at this level three starts back and she gets the nod here on the class drop. (4) WHISTYS PARADISE left then broke stride when she dropped to this lowest conditioned class and she can be a threat here if she stays flat this week. (6) REIS STAR CROSS needs everything to pan out her way, but if the late pace falters, she could roll by them all; using. (1) SMOKE N REACTOR N brings sharp form in from Flamboro Downs and she should be good for a share in this field.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 3YO FILLIES

(10) TH PRESENT took the fastest mark of any of these last time when she beat a heavy favorite that broke while leading but to me it looked like she was going to trot by her anyway. Her price should be viable starting from the second tier; top call. (8) PROFOUND PARAGON is the filly that blew up that the choice trotted past and that broke a long winning streak for her. She is an obvious threat. (3) PIER HO KADO is another that blew up last time who shows several very good Grassroots efforts and she is another that will contend if she stays trotting. (4) HIGHLAND FOXYTROTR has the speed to get a good spot early and I see her sticking around for a share.

Race 8: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $17K AE: Prospect Series Starters - Pick 4

(2) NEED AROCKET requalified well for this and he fits nicely in here; top call. (7) AMAZING BET gets a barn change and he should be a factor dropping out of Grand Circuit company despite facing elders here; using. (9) KOMODO BEACH few home to beat similar last time and he merits a look even from Post 9. (3) GAUDI KIR was good in his first start over this track and he isn't impossible here despite moving up to NW2.

Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(4) LOVEDBYTHEMASSES is the king of this class when he is right and last week's effort indicates that he is on top of his game again; top call. (3) LIFE IS A FEAST is sharp and dangerous and he should get another good trip racing near the front; Exacta factor. (8) TRUE BREW should be sent forward leaving the gate and he has upset possibilities in this semi-final considering his good tactical speed. (2) LEXUS MARCUS consistently finishes in the top four and he should be part of this Super when they hit the wire.

Race 10: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(4) NATIONAL SPORT sizzled in a Grassroots race two starts back then he had a perfect tightener last week. He is a clear top choice for me here. (2) THE WILD CARD shows nothing but wins in Grassroots races and he is the one the choice will need to beat. (7) SUNSHINE LIST is often in the mix at a good price and I'll use him in this Tri. (5) POSEIDON SEELSTER should be close early and hang around for a slice.

Race 11: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 3YO FILLIES

(3) MARY KAT has been kept razor-sharp racing against elders recently and she gets top call in a contentious semi-final. (4) FREE FLYIN TICKET is a good fit in this class and she should be one of the main contenders here; using. (5) ODDS ON VERO BEACH was given a freshener after racing poorly at Hanover Raceway. She can certainly contend here on her best. (1) MACH MY KISS has several good Grassroots showings this year and while she's not out of this, I prefer to use her underneath. (8) QUESO RELLENO is better with her nose on the gate and she has upset possibilities here.
