(2) WARRAWEE YOKO worked out a good trip and got up for a big upset last week while taking a new life's mark. She is one of several that can win the opener; slight nod. (1) WICKEDWOMAN DE VIE missed the end of the Grassroots season, but she indicated that she is ready to roll in her qualifier on 10/6; using. (5) WICKED LEADER, 3rd in a Gold race last time, is in with a shot here in this NW2 dash. Maritimes shipper (4) HIGH ROLLER hasn't missed the board yet and she should be in the exotics mix tonight.

Race 2: NW $15,000 in 2023

(9) TUCKERS OUT exits the toughest races, and he should be leaving hard this time despite drawing wide; top call. (4) P L JERICHO gets needed post relief, and he is another that will probably be driven more aggressively vs. these; using. (5) DELGADO raced well in his return from a break last week and he is another to consider for use in the early Pick 5. (1) SHES GOT PIZAZZ fits okay here but I don't love the rail post for her. I'll use her underneath.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GOLD SUPER FINAL: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES

(10) WILLYS HOME RUN has proven that she is the class of this division, and the widest post is unlikely to stop her in this lucrative Super Final. (6) VALUABLE MISS was tremendous two starts back and she simply waited too long to make her move last time. If the choice gets upset here, this improving filly will likely be the one. (9) R LIZA will not get the same easy front end trip that she got last time. I'll use her underneath. (1) P L RAINBOW DASH can close late for a share if she stays flat.

Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GOLD SUPER FINAL: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES - Pick 4

(2) IT’S A LOVE THING comes off an impressive Grand Circuit win and she is strictly the one to beat in this sires stakes final. (7) PASS LINE has done little wrong all year and having Gingras named to drive won't hurt here. (9) RESILIENCE blew her siblings away last week in the restricted Jimmy Freight Stakes and she has had a solid rookie year, but this is a tough task from a wide post; small share predicted. (5) ODDS ON PLATIMUM has been right there all year. She has made $300K with only two wins and she should be in the exotics mix again.

Race 5: F&M 5YO and younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $45,000 LT AE: 3YO 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000

(1) DUCHENNE got hammered at the windows last week and she set some big splits on her way to a new life's mark. She looks good to repeat here. (2) JM BETONSIX was first up in that race and that was a tough task. She can get an easier trip here starting next to the choice; Exacta factor. (3) FATED FIRE is improving but this is a tougher spot, and she will likely be a fringe player. (8) WILDCAT STAR can close for a small share in this second start back.

Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GOLD SUPER FINAL: 2 YEAR OLD COLTS and GELDINGS - Pick 5

(9) GRIFF took a new life's mark last time and I don't mind the driver change to Roy here because he will likely provide an aggressive steer; top call. (3) WILLOWTIME jumped it off as they turned for home possibly costing him a win. McClure sides with him over the choice and he is an obvious threat if he behaves. (2) ELEGANT RESOLVE was good in defeat to the choice, and he is worth using on multis for value seekers. (10) MYRETIREMENTDREAM is one of the best colts in here but post 10 for a 2YO trotter in a stakes final is a very tough spot. I'll use him on the bottom.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GOLD SUPER FINAL: 2 YEAR OLD COLTS and GELDINGS

(1) FUNTIME BAYAMA has been monstrous all summer and he will be very hard to beat at a tiny price here. (2) NIJINSKY has a big late kick and I'll try for some Exacta value with him here. (10) CHAIN GANG would be rated higher had he drawn better. From out there, I have to try to beat him out of the Exacta. (6) MIRAGE HANOVER should bounce back with a better effort here and take a share.

Race 8: Pop Up Series Ont. sired 3YO fillies NW $20,000 in 2023 Leg 2 AE: Leg 1 starters

(3) WATCH HER DEWITT gets needed post relief and she could lead her five rivals on a merry chase here. (2) ACEFORTYFOUR DAISY closed a big gap last week and she will be closer by default tonight in this smaller field; using. (1) SIS looks good on paper here but remember that she is 1 for 27 before you run to the windows. (4) ROSE RUN YVETTE should be good for a small slice in this spot.

Race 9: Pop Up Series Ont. sired 3YO colts and geldings NW $20,000 in 2023 Leg 2 AE: Leg 1 starters -Pick 5

(4) TF ROCKETMAN produced speed both early and late winning the first leg and he figures to get another good trip racing on or near the lead here; call to repeat. (3) WISE THINKING fell just short after setting some solid splits and he figures to be the main threat. (6) RYLENTLESS raced okay first up and finished with broken equipment. He can be dangerous here if he finds a helmet this week. (2) CLOWN CAR paced a nice back 1/2 without threatening last week. He is worth using on the bottom here.

Race 10: NW $15,000 in 2023 - Pick 4

(2) TESLA SEELSTER raced well last week despite having missed a month now she faces easier. She is the clear top pick here. (1) R ROYAL PORT got an impossible trip racing against tougher after missing three weeks. He should wake up in this spot; using. (4) STORMONT MABEL took a lot of action then broke at the start last week. She can hit the board tonight if she stays flat. (7) CLASSIC MAGIC fits well enough here that she should be in the exotics mix.

Race 11: Pop Up Series Ont. sired 3YO colts and geldings NW $20,000 in 2023 Leg 2 AE: Leg 1 starters

(8) LIBERTY ROYAL paced four straight sub-1:52 miles and hit the board once. In this spot, any of those four efforts puts him right there on the wire; top call. (7) URIEL BLUE CHIP made a nice late move to win the first leg. He is the one to fear. (4) CHEDDAR DUHARAS got too far back last week before closing well. He could surprise here if he lays closer. (2) BAR DOWN JIM’s comeback race was decent. He should be in the exotics mix again.

Race 12: Pop Up Series Ont. sired 3YO fillies NW $20,000 in 2023 Leg 2 AE: Leg 1 starters

(2) ST LADS DARK ANGEL, winner in leg 1 last week, lays over these but she won't offer much of a price. (5) RED SKY TONIGHT was closest of any of these to the choice at the wire and she should be an Exacta factor tonight. (4) TRE TA TA was less than three lengths behind the choice, and she should be good for a share in this short field. (6) JEMENAR paced a 55 1/5 back 1/2 in that same race. She could better this placing if she lays closer to the pace tonight.

Race 13: F&M 5YO and younger NW2 or $30,000 LT

(8) SALDANA HANOVER shoots for the threepeat at this level and she has a good chance facing many of the rivals that she beat last week. (4) GLENBORO seems the obvious threat dropping out of the Grassroots final, and she will probably be the one to catch here. (6) KUPER TROOPER also drops out of the Grassroots final, and she can wake up in this spot. She is likely going to be more aggressive starting from the best post; using. (5) HURRIKANE MSRODINE dropped and popped now she steps back into NW2. I'll use her underneath this time. (2) POWDER PLAY should be good for another small slice racing close to the front.
