(10) TEALICIOUS raced well in both of her last two starts and while she draws widest here, being sure-gaited should be an advantage for her; top call. (1) MIDNIGHT MIRACLE has been right there in each Grassroots start and she should be in the hunt again; using. (5) GREAT DANE has shown that she is capable, but with breaks in all of her last three starts, she seems to be going the wrong way. I couldn't take a short price here. (9) TIPSY IN DIXIE is having a good season but she seems likely to take a small share vs. these; using underneath.

Race 2: 2YO NW1 or $12,000 LT

(3) DON’T POKE THE BEAR was 2nd to the tough St Lads Sterling last week and that was his second straight good effort. I'll give him the nod here. (4) KOBRA KAI was only 1/4 of a length behind the choice after cutting the mile and he now moves into the Fellows barn. He should be right there tonight. (6) HES STALKING YOU is good enough to beat these when he is right, but that is hard to predict here after he missed a month. I'd demand a price. (5) FINAL CHEESERECIPE can take a share here if he stays flat.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 3YO FILLIES

(6) I DA PRINCESS has taken several measured wins in a row as Jamieson has an eye to the finals and she should be tough in here. (5) P L OPPORTUNITY is another filly that has been on a roll. She figures to be the main danger. (7) RUBYS ARE NICE disappointed as the even money chalk last time and she will likely find the top two choices too tough here; using underneath. (9) PIXIES LADY is better than she has shown in her past couple of starts. Consider using her on the bottom of the exotics.

Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 3YO FILLIES - Pick 4

(9) CYCLONE SISTER has been the fastest filly in this division for a couple of months and post 9 will aid her price tonight; top call. (1) VOLUPTUOUS always looked like the winner in her most recent start. She is sharp as a tack and dangerous. (2) SHIATZU SEELSTER is worth a look for the exotics going for a new barn following a private sale. (10) SHES GOT IT ALL never misses the board but she's up against it her starting from the widest post; using underneath.

Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI FINALS

(2) GAME OF SHADOWS had a perfect tightener for this racing against her elders and she gets top billing here in a race where Roy should get more aggressive with her. (4) SWEET PINK is in terrific form for a barn that has excelled all year and she is the one the choice will need to beat. (10) ANDRA DAY has improving form at the right time and she should be able to get away decently from the widest post in this field. She isn't without a chance. (5) GOT SEXY SCARS was locked up tight for the entire stretch drive last time and she had plenty of pace. She is another possibility for multi-race tickets.

Race 6: FILLIES and MARES PREFERRED - Pick 5

(3) TREACHEROUS REIGN popped a strong effort when coming off a month's break and she has beaten better than these in the past; call to repeat. (6) SO MUCH MORE had no luck with the draw in Grand Circuit action. She is obviously one of the best in here and she is the one to fend off. (2) MACHNOPE dominated easier but in this spot, she might have trouble with the top two. I'll use her underneath. (5) LIT DE ROSE should be in the Super in this short field likely racing from close range.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI FINALS 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(9) HARRY moves into the Montini barn following a private sale that took effect on 9/27 and I'll side with him here based on those changes. (2) SWEET SOUL DAVID is a one-dimensional speedster whose fate is decided by whether or not he gets a breather. He will be the one to catch. (3) URNTROUBLE HANOVER has excuses in his last two. I could see Christoforou tripping him out and blowing up the tote board tonight. (8) ROSIES WAR BONDS is another who has changed hands recently. Give her a look for the bottom of the exotics.

Race 8: CLAIMING $17,500 for NW $75,000 LT

(4) CENTURY GIGALO was picked off late last week in another good effort. In this short field, he has a good chance of getting a breather this time; top call. (6) RADLEY HANOVER drops back to the level where he was a powerful winner two starts back and he should be the one to fend off tonight. (1) SAM MCKEE HANOVER draws inside here which gives him a decent chance of sitting in the choice's pocket which would make him dangerous; using. (7) SUNNY BO was game despite racing uncovered. From the wide post he is likely to pick up cover this time, but he might be at the mercy of pace. I'll use him underneath this time.

Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS - Pick 4

(5) JIMMY CONNOR B dominated the last two times he raced in Grassroots and I imagine he will let the dust settle here then make a power move on the backstretch to take a stranglehold on this race; top call. (7) NO PLAN INTENDED is razor-sharp and he should be in the exotics mix again using his excellent tactical speed. (9) CENTURY HANNIBAL got a useful tightener in last week now he is sure to blast off the gate. I see him finishing in the bottom of the exotics in this field. (3) LORD ANTHONY comes off a nice win but this is much tougher. I'll tab him for a small share.

Race 10: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(2) THE PRINCE toyed with his Grassroots rivals here on 9/20 and he sticks out here as strictly the one to beat. He is a multi-race single for me. (9) TOKYO SEELSTER was no match for the choice but that was a good effort and he should get put into play by McNair leaving the gate here; Exacta factor. (4) MYSTIC can be closer here starting with his nose back on the gate, but I don't see him beating the choice. (1) FOUR WHEELIN should be closing late in the mile again. I don't love the 1-hole for him so I'll use him on the bottom.

Race 11: F&M 5YO and Younger NW3 or $66,000 LT

(4) OFF THE RECORD tried her luck in Grand Circuit company and she wasn't going to get much starting from the widest post in the Final. She should have a good chance back with NW3. (5) SETTN A PRECEDENT is also back in NW3 following a failed front-end try. She chased the choice down on 8/27 and she is the obvious danger. (2) CHIEFS DREAM GIRL is sharp and dangerous and she could win this if she can work out a trip that facilitates one big late move. (1) BEST KEEPSAKE should be good for a small share in this spot.

Race 12: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI-FINALS 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(10) PROLINE makes his third start back following a brief break and he gets McClure back. I see upset potential here so I will take a swing for the fences. (3) STONEBRIDGE REX is always right there in Grassroots points races and he should be the one to catch tonight. (5) CANTSTOPLYING has the speed to go with these and he could upset with the right trip. (7) ARMOR SEELSTER figures to close for a share racing against Grassroots foes again. (8) MUSTANG BEACH has improving form and he can better this placing if he gets a good trip.
