(2) HP MOMENTUM is in top form and he should get a good setup for his late kick here. My tickets for this mandatory Hi-5 bet will focus on him in the top two positions. (7) NO FREE LUNCH took a few starts to reach his best form and he is sharp and dangerous now. He is another that should be flying late here. (4) POINTS NORTH was a strong winner last week and he can be a factor again despite stepping up in class. (6) ROCKME ROLLME has Brennan listed and if he drives, he will likely send this gelding for as far as he goes. He should get a piece of this. (1) CENTURY HEINEKEN gets McNair back and that makes him a threat in a spot where he could trip-out. (5) RON rarely misses a check. He is a good one to use underneath here. (11) HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER is capable of sneaking into the Hi-5 from his second-tier post and he will offer a big price with Plante driving this time.

Derick Giwner Analysis
This looks like a prime spot for (12) AMERICAN HISTORY to pop a big mile for a variety of reasons. Most importantly, he dropped to this condition last weekend and awakened with a very nice mile. As the classiest horse in the field, clearly he is capable of more and I love that he’ll be forced to race from slightly off the pace due to a second-tier starting spot. He also picks up a driver that may embrace those new tactics.
For the underneath spots we land on a few horses that should be in the first half of this bulky field in the early going. (1) CENTURY HEINEKEN has some early speed, good form and gets McNair back in the bike. (2) HP MOMENTUM took advantage of a quick pace two starts back and was the victim of a slow pace last time. Any decent early pace will set him up well. (5) RON is very capable of firing to the front and getting into the second or third spots on this ticket.
Others I’ll use in the higher auxiliary spots are (6) ROCKME ROLL ME, who is off a win and picks up George Brennan, (7) NO FREE LUNCH, a capable horse who will be closing fast late, and (11) HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER, who put up an improved effort last time and should be in good position following #1.
