Race 1
(9) BUSTIGATTHESEAMS has increased her late speed each start and she meets a field she may be able to dominate if she is sent for the front off the gate. I expect a more aggressive drive this time; top call. (2) MAJESTIC MARVEL has raced decently twice in a row. He can threaten from close range here. (1) ICE HOCKEY HANOVER can build off a solid debut and he is worth Pick 5 inclusion. (6) WESMONT is an interesting 5-year-old first-time starter who is a full brother to three siblings that were all winners, including Windcross (28 wins, $278K earned).
Race 2
(7) PASSPORT TO ART went way too fast early last time - possibly due to broken equipment - and he finished far back. Facing easier here, he should be a big player. (4) WINDSUN GOTHAM also rates highly here facing easier. (3) ROCK N FANTASY comes off a sharp win after shipping in to Woodbine. He rates highly again. (2) FUSION FIVE overcame slow fractions to get up and win off a layoff. It's hard to say how he will handle expected quicker fractions here, but he can take a share.
Race 3
(7) AIR GLIDER didn't show much in his first start for Vanderkemp, but he is very good at improving these types and he could pop up with a big effort at a price. (9) ELDORADO OF GOLD blew up last time, but he figures here making his first start off the claim if he can stay flat. (8) GIRL DRAMA raced much better last time and she is cycling back to a winning effort now; using. (3) NOTROUBLE DECHAFRA can take another small share here using an inside following trip.
Race 4
(1) HOLD IT HANOVER - a $120K Lexington buy - is a 1/2 sister to Invest In Art (8 wins, $186K, 1:49 3/5) and Frame Worthy (4 wins, $64K, 1:54 3/5), both of whom raced well early. I'll give her the nod here. (5) ASK FOR ME looks well-prepped for her sophomore debut and she will be tough if she makes the lead early. (9) WAY BETTOR was patiently driven in her debut and she tried hard but the late pace was too quick. She is an obvious contender here. (8) LADY SHERRI will be passing many of these late to take a slice.
Race 5
(4) IMSPORTY went a tough trip last week but he was still gaining ground late. McNair sticks and he drops a class. He has a good shot here. (3) BUGGER BRUISER plunges to the bottom level and he is obviously the one to catch - likely as the chalk. (5) AVATARTIST raced better in this class. He should be a threat from close range here. (7) MR IRRESISTIBLE controlled things to win in this class last time, but he is unlikely to get the same beneficial pace scenario here.
Race 6
(8) RAIN GAUGE exits some quick Flamboro miles in which he showed marked improvement. Cullen could send this one for a big speed try here. (2) STONEBRIDGE FABLE was a sharp winner off the claim last time and if he transfers that kind of speed to the big track, he will be a threat here. (7) AMBLE OVER HANOVER raced better last week over a wet track. He wouldn't be a big shock in here. (4) MEBESTOLXFRIENDRAY can pass a few of these for a share.
Race 7
(7) SVENSSON could get the same great trip he got last time when winning his seasonal debut; top call. (5) MAN OF DESTINY never missed the board and can race well from anywhere; using. (9) ROAD LIGHT finally got there last time and sometimes these types come right back to win again. (3) LITTLE STUIE figures but the time off is concerning.
Race 8
(7) PAULY WALLY was a sharp winner here Monday night. He will be a big threat to repeat if he goes. (1) UGOTTABINITTOWINIT went a big trip on the rim in his sophomore debut. He looks like the main threat to the choice. (4) GO LIKE A PRO figures to take a share racing from close range. (8) POP N LIAM has shown good late speed in both starts here. He can close to make the Super ticket.
Race 9
(1) OLIVIAS WAY goes for a hot barn off a sharp win when claimed; call to repeat. (4) GIA DIAMOND was passed by the choice last time but she raced well to be 2nd and is a contender again. (8) CASE DISMISSED got used up early when claimed. She can be tougher here if she clears right away. (6) JAMES AND MORGAN should take a share racing close up.
Race 10
(6) CYRAX got a good trip to win last time over a wet track. These are no tougher; call to repeat. (7) WINDSUN FALLS wasn't far behind the choice in a good effort. Toss him on your Pick 4 tickets. (5) SLY BARAN goes for a sharp outfit off the claim. He is a threat to go all the way. (8) A F F BIGDADDY provided cover for the winner last time and was only nailed late. He could surprise here. (3) WINNING DRIVE raced okay off the claim last time and he can share too.
