(7) WAY BETTOR - full-sister to 2016 Jugette winner L A Delight - debuts in a cozy spot; top call at a likely short price. (1) NORTHERN LAUREN looks most likely to complete the exacta with the late speed she showed last time. (3) LOTUS SEELSTER got her act together at Flamboro. She should be heard from here. (2) EMOTIONS was far back in a very quick mile for the class last week. She should be closer now.
Race 3
(1) JOHNS LAST WIGGLE beat one that came back to win at Flamboro pacing a gritty first-up mile. He looks good to repeat here. (5) WINDSUN FALLS was fourth behind the choice in his comeback race. He can be closer here using his good early foot as an asset. (2) ROYAL MACHERY can follow along for a share. (4) A F F BIGDADDY was 5th to the choice last time. He can close here for a slice.
Race 4
(4) NOW WHAT HANOVER was a narrow loser here Monday night to a pocket rocket. He will be tough to beat here if he goes. (6) UNDRAFTED couldn't close with the pace accelerating late last time. He is capable with the right trip. (5) SECURES JETSTREAM got closer last time. He should share here, too, leaving from a good post. (9) THIS IS MY SONG was motoring late last week. He could get there if he is close enough early.
Race 5
(8) FORTE gets Christoforou here and when he and Henriksen team up, they have a great strike rate and R.O.I.; top call. (6) ICE HOCKEY HANOVER prepped well enough for his debut to contend right away. (9) HP RUN LIKE MOM is the first foal of the dam but by a top sire and she goes for a sharp outfit with trotters; using. (4) ROAD LIGHT will take action again, and again I will play to beat her.
Race 6
(8) JULERICA, game in defeat when claimed, goes back to Allard here; top call. (6) CUNDALINI slid up the inside to nail the choice when also claimed. He is in top condition right now; using. (7) COUNTER STRIKE should appreciate the drop into a claimer. He could threaten the top two. (5) VITAL SIGN can take another share here racing from close range.
Race 7
(6) GENTLEMAN JIM was out a long way before he made the front last week, a journey which likely cost him the win. He can rebound here and take these. (4) BLUEBIRD D TRAIN closed well last week off a covered trip. She can share again in this field. (8) WESLYNN DANCER is another that closed sharply last week that should be considered. (7) VASCO BI picks up a catch-driver here. He could better this prediction.
Race 8
(6) CALGARY SEELSTER should be able to clear these quickly at the start. He's a big threat to go all the way on the front. (5) AMBLE OVER HANOVER is another that should be leaving who could get a sweet trip following the choice. (1) INTENDED STYLE has seen better days, but if he is somewhat sound, he can compete with these. (4) R U MACHIN ME can pass a couple of these in the stretch for a share.
Race 9
(3) MR CARROTS beat similar on Monday night and the only way he meets this condition is because he was double entered and this race was drawn before he won on Monday. He would be awfully tough here if he goes. (8) IM THE PIED PIPER showed some life late on a quick mile last time. He's in with a decent shot here. (7) HIDDEN POTENTIAL rarely wins, but he can contend for a share. (2) WESTERN EXPRESSIONS looks best of the rest and he can take a piece off an inside following trip.
Race 10
(8) CASE DISMISSED was an easy winner off the claim for Moreau, who has been heating up the past few cards; call to repeat. (7) OLIVIAS WAY couldn't do enough late in an accelerating pace. She is a threat, but could fall victim to trip and pace again. (3) GIA DIAMOND is capable of better than she showed last week, but she needs a better start. (10) PHOENICIAN GAL is sharp and dangerous, but the post is the biggest issue for her here. (4) JAMES AND MORGAN brings some sharp form into town from the B tracks; consider for exotics.
