Race 1
(7) VITAL SIGN drops back to the level where he was claimed from and he should be able to work out a better trip here; slight nod. (5) JULERICA left hard to make the front then dug in late for a solid win last week. He should be tough again here. (6) OUTLAW GUNPOWDER was dull last week here when claimed, but Moreau has gotten hot recently, so don't discount this one. (1) RED BUGLER drops into a claimer but this may be tougher than his last conditioned race at Flamboro; minor share predicted.
Race 2
(7) WESLYNN DANCER's mile two back looks good vs. these, but she must stay on stride to have a chance to replicate that effort. (4) BUSTINGATTHESEAMS closed mildly last time off excess cover. She can be much closer at the finish if she is put into action earlier here. (5) BRENDA AND EDDIE has the look of one that Vanderkemp gets home at a big price; beware. (3) ROAD LIGHT will get there one of these times, but for now, she is a bet-against for me on the win end.
Race 3
(5) SOUTHWIND RAZOR drops back into a claimer off an even race here vs. better; slight nod in a wide-open affair. (6) IDEAL VISION is one of a few that show early foot in this race; using. (8) JOHNS LAST WIGGLE goes for a stable that is winning everything. He is hard to toss despite having suspect past performance lines. (4) CYRAX moves inside for his 2nd start of the year and gets an aggressive teamster. He is capable of generating more early speed.
Race 4
(6) UNDRAFTED comes off a sharp closing win vs. similar and gets the call to repeat leaving from the best post. (2) GO LIKE A PRO was only nailed late by the choice, but he needs to generate more late speed to turn the tables. (8) SECURES JETSTREAM retains white-hot Roy after finishing 3rd to the top two in his debut. You won't get 43-1 this time and he wouldn't be a big shocker here. (5) THIS IS MY SONG looks ready for a decent effort in his 2017 debut. He can take a smaller share here.
Race 5
(4) DANCING SHADOWS K caught fire in mid-stretch last week in enough time to chase down the leader. Her high late speed will play well here, too; top call. (5) MIA OH MY was first-up into an accelerating pace last week. That isn't her trip and she could rebound with a much better result at a price. (9) ALEXAS LUCK wasn't far behind the choice last time and her good gate speed will put her in a good spot. (7) QUEEN IDEAL is a good one to use on the bottom of tri and super bets.
Race 6
(4) SOUTH WIN BAX gets better every week and she will take some beating here if she can show further improvement. (6) GENTLEMAN JIM had some trot late in the mile in his comeback race and he should be a top contender here if he stays trotting. (10) ST JAMES GATE goes for connections with a high strike rate and a positive R.O.I. He is worth including here at a price. (5) OVERCOMEBYVICTORY has a decent record out of town and goes for
Race 7
(6) OLIVIAS WAY couldn't catch a sharp winner that was taking a big class drop last week. She will be tough to beat here with Roy at the controls. (9) CALL ME MAYBE was claimed out of a sharp effort last week and she goes for a cagey outfit here; using. (8) GIA DIAMOND is too sharp to leave out right now. Keep her on Pick 4 tickets. (1) MYSTICAL WONDER adds Lasix for a barn that has improved many adding that medication. She can share at a price here.
Race 8
(1) HEATHER LOVES NY motored home to win last week and her leaving much better was the key. Expect another good effort here. (8) ROSELILY has some ability and she gets a big driver change here. She is almost sure to get sent early this time. (9) STONEBRIDGE HONEY paced a 28 flat third 1/4 in her debut which left her short for the drive. She is likely to be coming later here for a slice. (6) HOMEGROWN HONEY got burned up challenging a quick pace last time. She could go much better here off a different trip.
Race 9
(6) ELDORADO OF GOLD S goes first off the claim in a suspect field and he stands a good chance of controlling things throughout here; top call. (7) WIN THE DAY hasn't won a race since November 2015, but last week's mile was his best in a long time and he fits here; using. (5) ABRAS MOMENTOM was chasing a fast pace in his first race over the track last time and he faded a bit late. He should fare better here in this easier field. (1) LISEBERG can follow along and take a small share here.
Race 10
(6) SURPRISE HANOVER meets a field that he might be able to boss. Expect a big speed try here. (8) HIDDEN POTENTIAL rarely wins, but he is often the victim of rough trips and getting McNair here improves his chances; using. (2) BIG JOHN HOUN showed some late interest in his comeback race and he is sure to take action for the sizzling Moreau stable; using. (7) WESTERN EXPRESSION passed four horses in the short Flamboro stretch to win his last, which is no easy feat. He should share here. (1) STORM THE BEACH likely won't get bet much, but he could crack the exotics at a price off an inside following trip.
