Race 1
(2) REDONKULOUS does best when he saves one big burst for the lane, but that tactic didn't quite work last week as he was loaded with no room. It looks like there is plenty of pace to chase here and he could roll by late. (4) MAX IS BACK paced a phenomenal mile at London last time which makes him a serious threat here. Driver McClure won 6 there on Wednesday. (1) SOUTHWIND MONTY races better from slightly off the pace. Those tactics could pay off here. (5) DAY TRADE HANOVER makes his seasonal debut off some good qualifiers, but this isn't the easiest spot.
Race 2
(2) EXHILARATED was relentless in pursuit of the winner last week, but she fell just short. She should be a square price again and can take this with a bit of racing luck. (7) BERNADETTE made a big move to the front and just kept going to win her 2nd straight Mares Preferred. She's never been better; using. (6) DEUCES FOR CHARITY was a strong winner despite missing three weeks last time. Off that mile, she has to be considered here. (3) P L HURRICANE figures to follow along near the front and take a share.
Race 3
(6) STONEBRIDGE PEACE provided perfect cover to the winner last week and fell just short. Starting from the best post gives her a chance to turn the tables here. (3) GOLD MEDAL SWAN nailed the choice right on the line and they look like the two main contenders here. (7) MIGHTY NICKY drops back one class here to a spot where his good closing kick should be more effective. (4) THE POWER OF MANY shows a quick closing 1/4 last time and Roy sticks here. These are the kind he pops with at a price.
Race 4
(1) SHADOW PLACE drops to a spot here where he should be prominent and he likely won't be favored, either; top call. (5) MOHAWK WARRIOR's 26 2/5 kicker last week will make some bettors drool, but, he often falls short as a chalk and he should provide value for those that like the choice here. (3) MACHAL JORDAN has hit his best stride the past few weeks and he isn't impossible here if he can work out a trip. (6) J EAGLE FEATHER should be a speed threat here, at least for part of the mile.
Race 5
(2) MAJOR HILL was chased down last week late in the mile after doing all the work. He looks solid to rebound here. (7) LUKE AND DUKE went a big uncovered trip last week and kept coming late. He has an upset chance here if he is handled aggressively again. (1) PANEDICTINE can start better here and is another that could nail the choice late here if he is close enough turning for home. (5) IDEAL JET closes well almost every week, but it is typically after the winner has been decided; minor share predicted here.
Race 6
(9) GUSCREST has never been better and he will likely get sent again here while his gait issues seemed to be solved; slight nod. (4) LIFE STRIKES picks up Roy here in a suspect field; must use. (8) PICK UP THE TAB can improve at a price here coming back in 7 days this time. (2) HAPPY HOLIDAYS has been flashing good speed out of town. She can last for at least a slice here.
Race 7
(1) MICKEY HANOVER almost caught a rival that was winning his 4th straight last week and that rival doesn't show up here; top call. (3) HALF A BILLION rates highly in this class and he should be able to work out a decent trip. (2) RAFA can take these a long way if he is cut loose early in the mile. (8) WEATHERLY steps up a couple of classes but he is sharp enough to pass several of these down the lane and take a share.
Race 8
(3) BRILLIANT STRIKE N fell just short in the top class last week and although he can be trip-dependent, he rates highly here in his current sharp form. (4) NICKLE BAG comes to play every week and he may take a more aggressive approach here with American Virgin not in this dash. (7) COMPANY MAN is another that could parlay a quick start into a good result. (2) ALEXAS JACKPOT is always near the front, but he is more likely to take a smaller share again.
Race 9
(3) MACH CODE is in solid form and he can win off a variety of trips. He is one of many in here with a legitimate chance to win. (2) JINS SHARK gets class relief here which should move him up. Use him on late Pick 4 tickets. (4) DAYLIGHT RUSH is extra-tough the longer he gets left alone on the lead. The step up isn't that tough here if he gets his desired trip. (1) TRACEUR HANOVER is another that makes this Pick 4 a bit tough because he can win this too with a good trip.
Race 10
(8) TWIN B FAMOUS drops and returns quicker after a decent effort after shipping north. The connections remain hot; on top. (6) LONEWOLF CURRIER raced much better last time and closed quickly. He could take this now that he is sharp. (5) SENIOR MARKET was flying late last week, but he races best near the front. He should be blasting here. (3) MIGHTY PERUVIAN improved last week with an aggressive drive. He can take a slice here. (2) CHEYENNE REIDER returns form a forced break and while he fits here, he may need one.
