Race 1
(7) SECRECY has had two brutal trips in a row. Racing luck can change in a hurry and he will be a better price here stepping up in class; slight nod. (6) A BETTORS RISK has excelled with Roy driving and he's the one to knock off here. (1) P L JACKSON faces easier here and should be used in the Pick 5. (2) DREAMY FELLA came up with a big mile to upset last week, but he will likely be closing late for a smaller share here facing better.
Race 2
(5) OUR SKY MAJOR N was outstanding in his North American debut and easily paced a 26 1/5 third 1/4 on his way to an easy victory. He will likely be competitive in the Preferred class sometime in March and should make short work of this group. (3) HIGHLANBEACHYCOVE is a good bet to power up late for 2nd here coming back quickly off a winning effort. (1) THE REV can take a slice dropping in class here. (4) ROCKIN WIZARD is in great form, but he will be fighting for scraps if the choice duplicates his last effort.
Race 3
(9) P L JILL was a strong winner in this class last week and she can take another in her current sharp form. (8) LABATT HANOVER made two moves to win in a much-improved effort last week. He looks like the only real threat to the choice. (7) LIFE STRIKES was a distant 2nd to the choice last time. She can pass many of these late and take a share. (5) ARE YOU IN is another that can close and make the ticket.
Race 4
(1) DOVUTO HANOVER made a much better appearance last week and won well when claimed. He can take another for his new connections here. (6) BANK SHOT HANOVER will be tough here with the high speed he has been producing late in his miles; using. (2) MIGHTY PERUVIAN gamely held for 2nd here on Monday night. He can make the ticket here. (8) COBALT MAN is another to consider for Pick 4 and Pick 5 tickets, but he will likely face more pace pressure here.
Race 5
(9) MOHAWK WARRIOR had a good tightener, now he drops and McNair sticks. He should be tough to beat here. (4) SMALLTOWN TERROR unleashed another impressive closing kick last time but the winner was long gone. He is very sharp and hard to leave out. (3) CHAMPAGNE PHIL can contend on the class drop, but is more likely to fill a lower exotic slot. (2) MACH PRIDE takes a big drop, but was beaten on February 4th when racing under a similar class dropping scenario; smaller share predicted.
Race 6
(6) MACH CODE moves inside here to the best post and he could trip out a price behind some hot fractions; slight nod. (4) THREE OF CLUBS drops from the top class but has a stale date and he could be ripe for the picking late in the mile. (1) NIRVANA SEELSTER is always a threat at this level but he may get cooked trying to keep pace with the one above early. (8) RESISTANCE FUTILE is in great form and if there is some battling here, another upset win isn't out of the question.
Race 7
(3) DUNVEGAN DON had plenty of trot and nowhere to go for the entire stretch in his return race. He can win this with a better trip and he should be a square price. (7) CASH FOR GOLD drops and adds Lasix - a recipe that has worked for this barn many times - using. (9) TOP DOLLAR is on a roll for hot connections. Don't sell him too short. (6) CHARLIE IS A JOKER figures on the class drop in a contentious dash and is another that can factor in the Pick 4s.
Race 8
(4) NICKLE BAG did all the heavy lifting and still almost held on last week. He is in top form and could turn the tables on (5) AMERICAN VIRGIN with a better trip. The latter benefitted from some front-end battling last week, but he is the main threat here and a Pick 4 must-use. (3) JINS SHARK may benefit from taking a week off. He cans share here. (2) ALEXAS JACKPOT will likely be the first leader but is probably destined to finish on the edges.
Race 9
(1) BRINGHOME THEBLUE drops back to a class where he is always tough and he holds a recency edge on another class dropper that rates highly, (7) TRACEUR HANOVER; slight nod to the former. The latter is dropping several classes and is sure to be put into action early here. (9) PRESCOTTS HOPE is very good when he is on his game and perhaps the latest qualifier is an indicator that he is coming back around. (2) LONEWOLF CURRIER figures for a smaller share here.
Race 10
(7) LITTLE WOODY jumped it off down the lane last week after making a big move to the front. Roy sticks here; another chance. (4) SPEEDLING comes off a sharp winning effort from the worst post vs. similar; using. (3) EAST END has improving form and he could be a price here again. (2) HUGHGETTHECREDIT raced well last time and he is capable of blasting off the gate for better position. He is in with a chance here. (5) BIG YELLOW went too fast early in the mile last time. Look for him to revert to a closing style here.
