Race 4 - $50,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Best Bet: FORK (9th)

Spot Play: UP THE CREDIT (4th)

Race 1

(1) VALORSCROSS suffered a tough trip in his latest and still found a way to win. He gets the rail in here and will make his third start off the bench. (7) CHEVIOUS COLE closed very well in his latest, gets MacDonald back in the bike and will look for a repeat effort. (8) DEVRIES HANOVER will get the services of Filion this week. He has the speed, draws better and enjoys racing from behind.

Race 2

(3) ADDISON BAY got away too far back last week and had to settle for third. She draws much better this week into a short field. (5) WAASMULA raced terrific last week. She got the jump on her rivals en route to victory. (1) MARQUISE DE SARAH gets the rail and has hit the board in four of her last five starts.

Race 3

(7) ORDER BY COMMANDER hasn't been on his game in recent weeks, but he drops in class, shows versatility and may offer a fair price. (1) MAGIC WILL WORK was the favourite last week at this level from post 10 and failed to win. He gets the rail this week and will look for a better trip. (5) OPEN ALL DOORS has been knocking on the door in his last two starts, draws well and can race either way.

Race 4

(2) UP THE CREDIT hasn't raced the best in his first two outings, but he drops in class once again and should be a top threat at this level with his back class. (8) DONAU just missed last week by a nose. He remains at the same level and likely will offer a low price. (5) WORLD AWAY has a lot of back class to him, draws well and should offer a price in here.

Race 5

(1) DREAMFAIR BOGART gets the rail and went a tough trip in his latest. With a cleaner trip, he's a top contender. (9) TYSON BAMBINO is fresh off a career best win last week. He'll have to overcome post nine, but a repeat effort makes him top contender for high percentage trainer Walker, Jr. (7) PRETTY BOY also won last week and enjoys racing from behind. He has the speed, but tends to be inconsistent.

Race 6

(5) COUGAR HALL will offer a low price in this field, but has been racing terrific. He's versatile, draws well and capable of defeating this top bunch. (4) DALI posted two qualifiers and appears ready. The nine-year-old hasn't raced since 2011 and may need a few starts under his belt. (10) MODERN LEGEND will have to overcome post 10, but has always been a top threat in this class. His gate-speed will likely be utilized.

Race 7

(4) JENNA CASIMIR raced well in the debut for Puddy last week and remains at the same level. (2) DREAMFAIR ECLIPSE draws inside once again and will look for an inside trop. She's a closer and should be well spotted heading for home. (8) OCEANVIEW BINDI has been racing much better in recent weeks, is fresh off a win and capable of stepping up in class.

Race 8

(4) JOSHUA MY BOY got away too far back last week and wasn't a factor. He drops in class, draws well and comes from high percentage trainer/driver in Vanderkemp. (1) NICKLE BAG drops in class and hasn't missed the board in his last four starts. (7) JJ SHARK has been racing very well and is a prime contender for this dash. He gets post relief and is very versatile.

Race 9

(8) FORK went a tough trip in his latest en route to victory. A repeat effort makes him the horse to beat. (4) UP FRONT N CRAZY certainly seems like a good claim by Pereira. He hasn't missed the board in all three starts since the claim at this level. (10) THE ONLY ONE will have to overcome post 10, but shows gate-speed and hasn't missed the board in each of his last three. He's a logical choice for the triactor.

Race 10

(2) GENESEE hasn't been worse than second in each of his last four starts, comes out Moreau's barn and drops in class. (7) JAC SPADE has won two straight and was a convincing winner in his latest. He got a terrific trip and will look for a repeat. (6) DAPPER DENZIL drops in class, has excellent gate-speed and likely will offer a low price. He's proven to be a main threat in this class for many weeks.

Race 11

(1) IDEAL RACE has the most back class in this field, comes from a top trainer in Gillis and drops in class. (9) BETTER GET READY has hit the board in two of his last three, enjoys being put in the race and comes from a high percentage trainer. (2) BURNING SHORE draws inside and has been racing very consistently as of late. He's a good option for the triactor from post two.
