Race 1
(1) ROCKIN IN HEAVEN got free too late last time. Remaining in the same class here, he should get a more aggressive drive this time. (2) FOUR CARD MAJOR was also closing in late and trainer Auciello has been running hot; using. (4) RESISTANCE FUTILE should lay a bit closer here and he's another in with a shot in the opening leg of the Pick 5. (5) ASLAN drops a couple of classes here and he should improve, the question is by how much?
Race 2
(3) NATURAL KEMP gets McNair back after racing in one of the fastest trotting miles of the meet. He should be tough getting back into a claimer. (1) AIR GLIDER is hot and goes for Moreau here. He's one you need on your Pick 5 ticket. (6) ZEUS LIGHTNING raced well last time and he may be getting closer to his first win in a long time. (2) ROSE RUN SPEEDSTER improved in a claimer and he can take another share here.
Race 3
(6) FREDDY BEAR couldn't close into a 27 2/5 kicker in a quick mile. He stands a much better chance vs. these. (5) IN SPADES paced a phenomenal trip on the rim the entire way last time. He's too sharp and tough to leave out. (4) RED JOHN looks ready to compete based on his most recent qualifier; using. (1) TREMENDOUS PLAY should improve exiting the Snowshoe series, but I'm not sure the 1-hole is best for him. I will use him underneath.
Race 4
(1) MR CENSI takes a big drop here and he won two classes higher in 1:50 3/5 seven starts back. He should handle these if all is okay. (2) EAST END also won at a higher level four starts back. He appears to be the main threat. (3) AUDREYS DREAM should get a decent trip here and hit the board. (8) WINDSONG LIGHTNING makes his third start back and he might be able to crack the Super at long odds here.
Race 5
(1) CLASSY DRAGON produced another impressive effort last week, chipping away at the leader until he passed him on the line. This tough campaigner can double up here. (5) MACH CODE took a ton of mutual support last week but he never entered contention. He should be a big player on the class drop here. (3) HIS BOY ELROY was a game winner last time he raced in this class. I'll use him on multi-race tickets. (2) IDEAL JET is razor-sharp, but he is likely to find the top two hard to beat.
Race 6
(4) KIWI FOCUS N beat better two starts back, then wasn't disgraced racing in the top class. She should handle these. (8) EXHILARATED is likely to be the main foe coming off a sharp win in this class. (1) REIS STAR CROSS is likely to deploy a closing style here which should get her a piece. (7) CIRCLE THE PAGE could do better here if she blasts for position near the front early.
Race 7
(4) THE TIME TO WIN improved sharply last week and she stands a solid chance of living up to her name here. (7) KLOOF STREET should be on a speed mission with the drop to the bottom level here; using. (6) QUEENOFTHEJUNGLE also drops and she should be heard from in this spot. (2) DANCING SHADOWS K did well here last year, and she is bound to wake up with a much better performance soon; consider for exotics.
Race 8
I expected (3) RAMBLINGAMBLINMAN to blast and try to wire the field last week, but he didn't offer much of an effort at all. Missing a check and getting to drop even lower should mean that front-end try is coming this time. (7) BUGGER BRUISER easily handled similar last week. He's in the mix again here. (5) BIG YELLOW closed a big gap last time. He is worth a look here stepping back into a conditioned field. (1) MCDAVE should be good for another small share off a following trip.
Race 9
(5) AMERICAN VIRGIN has hit his best stride and he's the one to beat here again. (3) NIRVANA SEELSTER will have to be caught but note he hasn't won in the top class for a while. (6) THE REV is in solid form, but likely to be fighting for a smaller share here. (1) NICKLE BAG has improving form and he should be a square price stepping up here. He can grab a small share.
Race 10
(2) MAJESTIC PRESENCE was an unlucky loser last time when the chalk hugged the pylons the entire mile and got through on the inside in the lane. I'll stick with her in this spot. (10) HLDONTGHTTOYURDRMS drops off an even effort and Roy will put him into play early; using. (7) HEAD TURNING JAG should get a better trip here and his price could offer some value; using. (8) BURNIN MONEY is on the improve and he can hit the ticket here. (1) CLOUD NINE HANOVER is a good one to use underneath.
