Race 1
(6) ROCKIN FINISH steps up but he was impressive winning his last and these don't look that much tougher; call to repeat. (3) SMALLTOWN TERROR raced well in a quick mile for this class and he should be a threat here. (4) SOUTHWIND MASIMO steps up off a loss, but he has a better chance to catch cover here and that's what he needs; using. (8) SHADOW PLACE drops and figures, but he has also missed three weeks; mixed signals.
Race 2
(3) YO YO MASS keeps racing well and he never gets any respect at the windows. I'll stick with him here. (4) TYCOON SEELSTER has yet to win this year, but coming off a third-place finish in the OSS Superfinal, he fits well here. He could get overbet, however. (2) HEAD TURNING JAG also exits the Superfinal and he has raced here in the past; using. (1) MISTER MUSCLE can improve moving to the inside here and take a share.
Race 3
(2) SAULSBROOK LANNY was a sharp winner in this class recently and he should get a good stalking trip here. (10) PREPPY ART beat 11 rivals in the slop last week and he's too sharp to ignore here. (8) DUBIOUS CLAIM had a rough trip most recently, but he may have another tough time here from this post considering his typical racing style. (6) MAKASI has some sneaky good form and he leaves from a good post. If he blasts off the gate, he could fall into a dreamy trip near the front here.
Race 4
(1) BRILLIANT STRIKE N paced a back 1/2 in 53 3/5 last time vs. much better yet could still do no better than 4th at the wire. He should be able to take these. (7) MOHAWK WARRIOR finishes 2nd a lot and he is a good bet to land there again here. (6) MUSSELSFRMBRUSSELS went a big trip in defeat last time and he should be a threat here, too. (4) ASAP HANOVER is worth a look for the exotics making his 2nd start on Lasix.
Race 5
(5) WILD AND CRAZY GUY obviously loves Woodbine looking at his last two seasonal marks and he comes off a great qualifier; top call. (2) A ROD HALL moves inside and drops for his second start back; expect improvement. (6) P L JILL has to be considered coming off a nice win in a similar class. (9) FREE WILLY HANOVER can close in late to take a small slice at a price.
Race 6
(4) PRESCOTTS HOPE drops and he stands a decent chance of controlling the pace here. (1) ELLIS PARK is sharp and on a roll and he will be heard from here, although he has always raced better at Mohawk. (6) EVENIN OF PLEASURE is another dropper to consider, but he too has never done much at this track in the past. (8) MR WIGGLE PANTS steps up slightly off a win, but he loses McNair; your call.
Race 7
(2) DOVUTO HANOVER won last time Roy drove and he returns here; angle play. (9) PAPARAZZI HANOVER paced a 26 3/5 third 1/4 and still almost held on. He is sharp and dangerous. (8) VELOCITY DRIVEN does well here. He can close for a share. (7) SHADOW MARGEAUX likely finishes on the fringes again here.
Race 8
(8) LMC MASS OAK raced decently when third vs. a strong class-dropper who is now off to contest the Breeders Crown. These are easier and he can take this with a decent trip. (5) DEEP IMPACT should be much closer here dropping in class. (4) FINISH LINE did well here at the same meet last year and he will likely be the one to catch. (3) CABERTOSS can take a share if he gets a better start this time.
Race 9
(1) WITCH DALI got a great trip last time, but she simply wasn't good enough to catch the top two. Facing easier here, she should be tough. (2) EXHILARATED should get a good trip starting from the inside here and she is capable in this class. (7) MS MAC N CHEESE steps up looking for a third straight win, but a smaller share is likely for her in this class. (6) LYONS RIVER PRIDE is worth a look for the exotics dropping in class here.
Race 10
(2) PHEONIX WARRIOR N passed some horses in an extremely quick mile for this class last time and that came after missing a month's action. He looks solid here. (4) REGAL SON drops and he should be blasting for position here; using. (10) BEACH BOOGIE is in sensational form, but post could be his undoing here. (9) MAJOR HILL is a good bomb to add to late Pick 4 tickets. He could take this if things shake out right for him. (3) DREAMY FELLA has been in sharp form for a few weeks. He should take a share here, too.
