Race 1
(3) ROCKIN WITH DEWEY was an under-wraps winner in her latest as she paid 25 cents to the dollar. She's the mare to beat in the series. (5) ROSE RUN ORIANA is fresh off a win in the other division and will debut for trainer Johnson based on the private purchase. (6) SAMIRA HANOVER was too far back last start and closed very well. She has the speed and likely will offer a price.

Race 2
(4) FRISKY MAGIC has closing very strongly last week, but was too far back. With a closer trip, she certainly can get the job done. (3) STANDING MY GROUND put forth a solid effort last week. She draws well, has a patented late kick and comes from Moreau's barn. (6) HER NAME IS LOLA has hit the board in two of her last three and has been racing very consistently. She'll offer a price for high percentage trainer Bax.
Race 3
(3) WEATHER HANOVER was a hard-closing second last week in his season debut. He can only improve off that effort. (1) BESTOFTHEBUNCH draws the rail and went a tough trip in his latest. He has the speed and is certainly a factor. (8) MONTEZUMA BLUECHIP comes out of the Youthful and into this class, which fits him nicely. He's versatile and once again draws outside.
Race 4
(10) THE BIG BITE won last week as the heavy favourite, moves into the Winacott barn and likely will be the faovurite once again. (5) MACHINE GUN is fresh off a win, moves into Nixon's barn and has an excellent record this season. (1) DUKE DID IT hasn't been at his best, but he's versatile, has back class and gets the rail.
Race 5
(5) VERDI trotted a strong mile in his first start of the campaign last week. He comes from a top trotting barn and will likely be the favourite. (2) BLUSTER qualified well at The Meadowlands and will offer a low price based on his highly successful trainer. (4) SEAWIND PASCALE trotted a strong mile last week and gets McNair back in the bike.
Race 6
(9) ROGER MACH EM certainly showed enough speed as a rookie and is fresh off two speedy qualifiers. It appears he's ready at first asking despite post nine. (8) CRANK IT UP went gate-to-wire last week, moves up in class and comes out of Hall of Famer McIntosh's barn. (6) SANATTLE SLEW exploded off cover last week and got the trip he needed. He races from behind and the same tactics will likely be used again.
Race 7
(4) ANDREIOS KARDIA has the overwhelming favourite last start and he didn't disappoint with an effortless win. (10) ACCOUNT ROLLOVER skipped the second week of the series and is a top candidate after winning the first leg in impressive fashion. (2) HIGHLAND TARTAN is fresh of a win, draws inside and comes from a very high percentage barn.
Race 8
(1) MASSIVE TALENT makes his first start of the campaign after competing in the Wellwood and Gold series last year. (6) FASHION TAGMAN went a big trip last start, enjoys being put on the front and can only improve in his second start back. (2) AGGRESSIVE draws inside and qualified very well last week. He looks ready to drop more time.
Race 9
(2) BIG SURF just missed last week by a nose and draws inside at the same level. (9) BETTOR ON TOP raced very strong last start considering it was his first start of the campaign. He shows versatility and can only improve off that performance. (5) THE AMAZING ART will make his first start of the season and comes out of McIntosh's barn.
Race 10
(5) UP THE CREDIT drops into the bottom level and gets Jamieson back aboard. (7) DREDYL HANOVER missed last week as the favourite, but he's been racing much better in his last two. Hopefully that continues. (3) EMERALD LEXUS draws inside, has the speed and should offer a price.
