Race 1
(4) JIMMY BE GOOD drops back into a claimer here to face easier. He could benefit from an early tussle for the front here and pounce late. (6) COBALT MAN was pressured hard in the third 1/4 last time which softened him up late. With another hard leaver lined up inside of him, he will have to avoid an early duel here. (2) OCAPTAIN MYCAPTAIN is a one-dimensional speedball that is likely helped by the small field. He can take these a long way. (1) ROCKIN THE HOUSE was a sharp winner last week but these are tougher and a smaller share is likely here.
Race 2
(1) ETRUSCAN HANOVER was ultra-impressive in victory last week when returning from a break. I'll stick with him here while he is on his game. (5) A ROD HALL appeared on his way to a win last week when he jumped it off. He is erratic, but when he stays flat, he is typically very good. He is hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (6) MARQUIS VOLO has been in great form for several starts and there is every reason to believe that success will continue here; using. (3) CATCH THE DREAM is also in solid form but he may find some of these too tough here.
Race 3
(2) MAN OF DESTINY has obviously figured things out and he is a good bet to take a third straight win here. (6) SUMMIT CITY TURBO is the obvious main threat to the choice. He will be a pace presence and may have to be caught. (8) SUMMAJESTIC would be the logical beneficiary if the top two duel each other into defeat, which is a possibility here. (5) TATTOO is another that can close in late who would benefit from a rapid early pace.
Race 4
(1) GET DECKED raced with his head very low to the ground last week, but it didn't affect his performance as he was closing on a sharp repeat winner late in the mile. He looks best here. (6) CHUMMY PARK keeps improving his overall speed and will be the one to catch here. (7) UNDRAFTED hinted at some ability in his opener and he is one to consider at a price here. (3) ONLY HALF BAD can parlay a following trip into a share here.
Race 5
(7) AIR GLIDER was on excess cover at the 3/4 last week, but it mattered not as he impressively kicked it into a gear his opponents couldn't match; call to repeat. (5) MAJESTIC PRESENCE couldn't go with the hot Sergeant Seelster last week, but she fits here; using. (1) FREE WILLY HANOVER barely got up as a big chalk last time despite carving out a perfect trip. Adding Lasix could help him here. (3) BATOUTAHILL is one you don't want to leave out then watch pass all your live Pick 5 horses in the last 1/16th of a mile. Toss her on multi-race tickets.
Race 6
(6) IGNITION SWITCH went a long way on the lead on a wet track at London last Wednesday, but he couldn't close the deal. Weller enlists Henry here, so you know where he is heading at the start; slight nod. (7) LOCK N RELOAD should wake up with a much better effort here dropping into a claimer. (5) FLYIN ORION was bought by Allard privately following his last start and this isn't the toughest spot; beware. (3) SIX BEFORE SEVEN takes slices 40% of the time. He should be closing for a piece here.
Race 7
(4) OLYMPIC SON trotted a winning mile last time only to be passed by a rival that swooped by with a 26 4/5 closing burst in the final 1/4. With that foe gone, he looks best here. (7) ADVERSITY responded for McNair last week and the leading driver sticks here; using. (6) STORMONT KATE is likely to blast off the gate this time. That's when she does her best work. (1) ZEUS LIGHTNING rarely wins but almost always gets a check. He should round out the Tri or Super here.
Race 8
(8) TOP DESIRE faces easier here and he should be blasting off for good position near the front when the gate pulls away. (5) THINK AGAIN raced decently vs. a horse that was winning for the 2nd time in four nights that blew the doors off his rivals and was claimed. Now this gelding goes for Weller and he is dangerous. (1) CRANKIN IT UP raced well off the claim for a hot barn and he is a big threat here again; using. (3) DOVUTO HANOVER didn't look great when winning for a new barn following a private purchase last week now he comes up tagged here which is a red flag for me; passing.
Race 9
(7) HIGHLANDBEACHYCOVE raced tough first up pressing solid splits last week. The outer post here should give him some options and there should be plenty of pace to chase; top call. (2) MR MACH JIMMY is another that went a big first up trip last time who should be a threat here. (5) LYONS SANDS was part of an early skirmish for the front last time and he did well to stay for third. He could get an easier trip up front here. (6) MAJOR HILL should be part of the early pace and has an upset chance if he can land in the pocket at the outset.
Race 10
In a race where nothing stands out, I'll take a swing with (9) MIGHTY PERUVIAN N on the first-time McNair, second-time Johnson angles. (4) IMSPORTY should be more prominent early with the class drop here; using. (7) MACHAL JORDAN dropped to the back immediately when starting from the 10-hole here on Thursday. He is capable vs. these and he may get sent this time. (2) NEW TALENT figures for a smaller share again. (8) TWILITE ZONE is another that should be closing late that can fill out a vertical wager.
