Race 1
(4) IGOCRAZY WITHOUT U took forever to break her maiden, but, with the improvement she has shown with McNair driving, she could double up right away here. (3) WORK THAT MAGIC raced okay from an outer post and she is capable of much better when she is right. More improvement might be coming here at a price. (6) LABATT HANOVER makes his second start for Henriksen here and if he can stay trotting he should contend. (7) ANDOVERS CHOICE can show speed when he doesn't break. He is another possibility in a tough start to the Pick 5.
Race 2
(1) DRAKE goes for Moreau here off the claim and his race two back would get it done vs. these. He should also have a solid pace to stalk; top call. (4) ROCKIN THE HOUSE is another that could capitalize late from some early battling; using. (6) CRANKIN IT UP will likely try to go down the road here in his first start for Allard. He will have early competition for the lead however, so it's hard to take a short price here. (8) OCAPTAIN MYCAPTAIN will likely be blasting again; for as far as he goes.
Race 3
(6) MAJESTIC PRESENCE drops back to a class where she has already won and Henriksen's barn continues to run hot and she can bounce back in this easier spot. (2) SERGEANT SEELSTER won easily under no urging here last time but he likely won't get away with similarly-easy fractions this time. He's a contender, but these are tougher. (1) BATOUTAHILL is always a danger to roll by late and hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (4) WINDSONG MAGIC will be a pace threat and she can win with the right trip, but the three above are more preferred.
Race 4
(1) WINDSUN GOTHAM goes for a new barn following a private sale and it is reasonable to expect him to improve on his life's-best performance last time; top call and Pick 5 single. (6) DREAM OF LUCK was beaten by a good one that went off at 1/9 last week. He figures here. (5) MEDIEVAL DRAGON can be closer here if he gets asked to leave this time; consider for exotics. (4) GET DECKED ships in for a hot barn and is another that should be considered for the bottom of vertical wagers.
Race 5
(5) BURNIN MONEY has been racing well every week and he should be right there on the wire again; slight nod in a contentious dash. (1) A ROD HALL powers home each time he doesn't break stride. The 1-hole might not be the best post for him, but if he stays flat, he will be coming late. (2) FEARLESS MAN wilted only very late in the mile last week. He is always a threat to go down the road. (6) MISTER HERBIE - a $1.8 million earner - makes a return following a 2 1/2-year absence. He bears watching here for a possible future play.
Race 6
(6) HIGHPOINT CHIP was an easy winner in the lowest conditioned class here Thursday night. It's hard to imagine him going for a $10K tag here three days later, but, if he does, he will be very tough to beat. (4) JULERICA closed well last time in his second start off the shelf. He will cycle around to a winning effort soon; maybe tonight? (5) BEACH TERROR was beaten by a hot horse last time and he will contend here again off the Johnson claim. (1) CUNDALINI is logical to take another smaller share off an inside following trip.
Race 7
(10) MICKEY HANOVER plunges to the lowest conditioned class here. Expect a big speed try. (5) NEW TALENT also faced much easier here. He should be heard from in the stretch. (2) OK ICEMAN got hung out to dry here on Thursday night. A better trip gets him a piece here. (7) TWILITE ZONE can close in late for a share of the Super here.
Race 8
(2) ODDS ON AMETHYST made a bold move in the third 1/4 last week then converted with a win. Hudon has done a great job with this gelding and there is lots of early speed to chase here; call to repeat. (5) OLYMPIC SON should be a big threat here with the class drop. (8) ETRUSCAN HANOVER is another that should be closing late and if he is on his game following a break he could mow these down. (1) APRIL ROSE couldn't get by the leader last time while making a move on the backside. The presence of other leavers in here compromises her win chances.
Race 9
(1) CHEYENNE FORD is on a roll and powered his way to a third straight win last week. Four in a row is likely here. (7) PAR INTENDED was flying late last week but the winner was gone. The short field should help him. (2) SMALLTOWN HERO comes off a sharp win when claimed and he could double up with the right trip here. (6) COBALT MAN should be the early pacesetter but this group looks tougher than those that he beat last time; minor share predicted.
Race 10
(8) SECRECY was flying late after being held up in traffic last week while the leader was sprinting away. He can rebound here if driven more aggressively. (1) PODGE gets Jamieson back here and he should get a better trip and drive; using. (8) HUGHGETTHECREDIT should be put into action earlier here returning to a 7-day cycle; using. (7) MR MATCH ON BEACH should take a slice racing from close range. (5) FIRST CAR should get a better trip this time. He can threaten from close range.
