Race 1
(6) COBALT MAN couldn't get close to a strong winner last time despite pacing home in 27 flat. He looks tough to beat here with that rival gone. (7) PAR INTENDED paced a strong first-over mile in the same race. He looks like the main threat and he may get motivated earlier this time. (1) TOP DESIRE never misses the board. He should trip well here for a piece. (3) MACH POWER will be heard from early but is likely to be on the fringes at the finish.
Race 2
(7) TALBOT ROMEO blitzed similar last time despite missing three weeks; call to repeat. (4) MEDIEVAL DRAGON couldn't hold off a horse that paced a monster final 1/4 in his first start out of a new barn last time, but that was a good debut effort; using. (6) DREAM OF LUCK paced a good mile from the 10-hole last time. Moving to the best post helps here. (2) BET TILL DAWN has been pacing quick final 1/4s and he is worth a look here for exotic wagers.
Race 3
(1) EURO GAP waited too long to make his move last week, then broke when tipped off cover. Expect a more aggressive steer here with his return to a 7-day cycle. (6) MIGHTY NICKY comes off a solid first-up win and he should contend here despite stepping up a class level. (8) IM WANTED is 0-16, but he is capable of closing in late for a smaller share. (2) WINDSONG LEKEOBNAV raced evenly in a Preferred class at Flamboro on Thursday. He can contend here racing from close range.
Race 4
(3) MYSTIC DEUCE could get a dream set-up here to exploit his late charge with so much speed lined up to his right; top call. (4) SMALLTOWN TERROR is another that could capitalize on a faltering late pace; using. (5) JOSHUA MY BOY exits the Allard barn but he is still one to toss on Pick 4 tickets here. (7) OCAPTAIN MYCAPTAIN simply went too fast early last time, but he could face a similar pace scenario here.
Race 5
(2) CATCH THE DREAM got brutally backed up behind dead cover last time but he did have plenty of trot down the lane. He can take these if provided with a reasonable trip. (10) CASH FOR GOLD takes a substantial class drop here and he must be considered even starting from post 10. (7) APRIL ROSE comes in off a serious front-stepping score and she is dangerous here - especially if she can get a breather at some point. (1) P L JERICO couldn't chase down a strong leader last time but he should contend here again racing from close range.
Race 6
(2) SINGLE WHITE SOCK was game in defeat last week, the uncovered trip likely doing him in. He can win this if he can find a live helmet to follow. (5) NEW TALENT took crazy action last week and he couldn't close into a rapid final 1/4. He fits better here and he should be heard from. (3) IM DRINKIN DOUBLES wasn't far back in a rapid mile last time. He is another that should be prominent and can win with a bit of luck. (1) DOVUTO HANOVER is worth a look switching barns to Auciello.
Race 7
(4) KEYSTONE KEEN stayed in last time and lacked room when it counted. He should get a more aggressive drive here; top call. (2) SECRECY has some sneaky good form and he should get a better trip here; using. (3) DON MCWHITE should go better in his third start back here; notice the 27 1/5 kicker last week. (9) BIG YELLOW has been racing against better and is another to consider for Pick 4 tickets.
Race 8
(1) CHEYENNE FORD is white-hot now he goes for Allard here. He should be tough to beat at a low price. (2) BEACH TERROR got fried early last time when claimed by Auciello, now he gets the leading driver. This looks like a two-horse race on paper. (8) WHO DOESN'T raced decently last week vs. better but he will need to overcome the outer post here. (6) CALGARY SEELSTER can be a speed threat here and stick around for a share.
Race 9
(2) FEARLESS MAN is clearly in top form right now and he will be hard to beat here. (6) MARQUIS VOLO took a week off after beating the choice. He, too, is in top form and he should be the main danger to the choice. (3) BURNIN MONEY was closing on the choice late in the mile last week, but that was off an inside following trip. He should take a small slice here. (4) A ROD HALL can close for a spot in the Super here if he stays flat.
Race 10
(4) PUSH BACK projects to get an easier trip up front here. He can outlast this group. (8) WALTZKING HANOVER drops to the bottom here and Cullen should have him in a good spot early; using. (10) INTENDED STYLE raced better last time and he could get put into this race early enough to have a shot. (1) LET EM BOUNCE wasn't too far back last time he raced here in this class. He is another in with an upset chance. (9) CONFIDENT FELLA is a good one to use on the bottom of Super and High-5 wagers.
