Woodbine Harness: Mandatory payout Jackpot Hi-5 set at $227,101 on Saturday

The scene is now set for Saturday’s Jackpot Hi-5 mandatory payout at Woodbine Racetrack.

The carryover heading into the Jackpot Hi-5 mandatory payout (Race 12) is $227,101.87.

Horseplayers are advised that there are two scratches in Saturday’s Jackpot Hi-5 race.

Wanda Bayama (Post 2) and Twice An Angel (Post 8) are both scratched from Saturday’s Jackpot Hi-5 race. The two scratches reduces the field size to 10.

Despite the scratches, Naughty Lady B (Post 11) and Aintsheasweetie (Post 12) will continue to start from the second-tier.

Based on past mandatory payouts, more than $1 million in new money could be wagered into Saturday’s Hi-5 pool.

The Jackpot Hi-5 wager requires horseplayers to select the top-five finishers in order and features a $0.20 minimum wager and a low 15 per cent takeout.

My top pick is (4) LIGHTS GO OUT, who has hit her best form and has been firing home quickly every week for a while. She has to be careful to not get too far behind early, but I'm pretty confident she will finish first or second here.
